   Both service and food was great, nice being on the water by Barangaroo. Food was definitely value for money as none of our party drank alcohol except for one beer.

   Always an amazing experience at Anason! I sent a glass of wine back because I felt it was too warm, probably because it was an almost 40 degree day and it just didn’t stay chilled for very long. They ended up replacing that glass so kindly with a very chilled glass which helped to the trick and keep it chilled. I hate complaining but who likes warm wine?! I was sooo thankful for this. They also make the best Chili margaritas. Haloumi is always perfection and everything about the lunch was great! Will always return and recommend.

   Usually really enjoy dining at Anason, but unfortunately the halloumi was not on the menu which was very disappointing for my partner and I as we were really looking forward to enjoying that particular dish on the night.

   The food was very good with a huge variety of options and flavours. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. We are a group who go there twice a year for a catch-up. And it’s always enjoyable. The king prawns were a standout! Would highly recommend.

   I went with my boyfriend and we enjoyed immaculate service, exquisite food and an extremely enjoyable experience. We will not hesitate to come back to Anason and to recommend it to anyone and everyone who will listen!

   We really enjoyed our evening. Great food and atmosphere. Service was good, helpful and attentive. The food arrived maybe a little too quickly, we would liked to linger a bit more. Delicious chilli margarita really hit the spot. Standout dishes cured kingfish with brick pastry, the little beef dough balls manti , the stuffed eggplant, sardines on toast.

    Not my best experience at Anason. To be fair I had only very good experience so far, yesterday a number of issues though. 1. Big group very near to a table of 2 positioned in the middle of the alley it was almost impossible to talk 2. we ordered 2x glasses of wine 3 times and they kept on not being served. This has happened before. They have to fix they wine glasses order/delivery system... 3. food as always good, however they didn't pick up properly the order of dips and served an excess of bread

    The scenery was very nice. We had a nice table overlooking the water. The food was good but nothing special. The serving size was minuscule, yet with the feast, one should end up satisfied. By the way, I would not call the feast a feast; it's more like a sampling menu. Matching wines were fine. In short: we had a good time, but I would not return to this restaurant; it is big and loud and somewhat overpriced for the food (not for the location!). However, this is a personal preference, and others may love it. As always, it depends.

    This was my second visit to Anason. I will go again - the service is impeccable and the food delicious. It is a bit pricey, but the whole experience is worth it. The staff could not be more friendly and professional, while also not rushing us, but allowing us to linger as long as we liked. Have already recommended to friends. Excellent!

    Second time coming. First was great. Second time was terrible. Expensive and bland food. Feta skewers were stone cold from the fridge, was a ball of mash. Hummus was okay and husband said chicken was ok but expensive. Cauliflower was okay but again not for the price.

    Anason is one of my favourite Restaurants in Barangaroo. It is a very lively vibrant place with great atmosphere. The staff were very accomodating. We shared everything, and everyone thought a different dish was the best. Just check the weather before you go. If you get an outdoor table it can get pretty windy so bring a jacket and scarf. (They give you blankets, but you may need something around your neck). Most tables seem to be fully or semi-protected from the wind but not the ones that are entirely outside.

    Came here six weeks ago, the food was delicious. Yesterday, it was anything but. Brussel sprouts were drowned in a vinegarry mix making them inedible. Cauliflower was ordinary… only the chicken was good. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to the standard of food from our first visit here.

    Waited two hours for our lamb to come out, for one of the staff to realise there was an error and they never put the lamb in the system. Restaurant didn’t even provide any compensation and had the audacity to ask if we wanted to order dessert or offer a discount

    We had the 4 course Valentines Day feast. Every plate was full of flavour . Great produce which was all well seasoned with lots of different herbs and spices. It is the little details that make difference. Loved all dishes but the lamb was the standout. Matched wines were all and am now looking to find where I can find the Muskat desert wine in Sydney.

    Lovely restaurant especially for a meet up with the girls. Fresh, innovative share plates, though some men may need to order more but for women it’s very good value with a wide selection of dishes to please all tastes. The Turkish white wine was a great complement to the food. I recommend you dine there at least once and judge for yourself.

    Lovely late Sunday lunch. Welcoming staff. Very attentive and knowledgable about the menu. Food excellent. Cocktails equally amazing. Quite pricey but it was a special occasion with family and friends.

    Lovely evening with great service and delicious food. We had a table for 4 which was perfect and we ordered whatever we wanted from menu. Would love to organise a larger group of 8 but then you are stuck with the fixed price menu of $98pp + alcohol which would be a very $$$$ evening. Shame!

    Wonderful food. One waitress was extraordinary and friendly but then changed mid shift. The second waitress was less friendly and didn’t seem to want to be working.

    Went for a birthday and was not disappointed the chicken was The best any of us had ever had, all the dishes were fantastic. Service 10/10 With views of the harbour we Just could not fault it!!Highly recommended

    Very special, very yummy food, served with a lovely smile by very competent staff. The Feast gave us a chance to try food morsels we'd never heard of before. So well worth it, can thoroughly recommend it.

    We were really excited to try this restaurant as the chef is very famous in Turkey but found the food to be very unauthentic. Although I guess its modern turkish, it didn’t feel like ‘turkish meyhane’ food and the portions were very very small. Service were attentive and friendly, the location is beautiful but overall we were disappointed with the food.

    Second time at Anason's, Food was very tasty staff friendly and helpful with explaining the menu but not as attentive as before. Was a wet day so not many patrons, so noise level was low. Lovely place to lunch on the water. Would recommend.

    Waitstaff were pleasant and meals delivered promptly and with a smile. The food was tasty with only two dishes that were a bit disappointing but that's my problem not the restaurant's problem. Would certainly recommend Anason to anyone who asked.
