Angelina’s: great food, honestly prepared, simply served.
Weekends and Bank Holiday: 10am – 10pm
Had a fabulous meal with friends on Sunday night. Starters were stunning and pizzas were divine. House wines were excellent too. A bit pricey for main courses..but we decided on pizzas, which were great. The service was superb..couldn’t fault it.
Would love to try brunch here soon
Really good atmosphere. Servers were really engaged though also left you to your own devices when necessary.
Our waitress was lovely, really outstanding but the food was abysmal and every time the door opened we were blasted by icy cold wind even though we were seated halfway down the restaurant. Would never return. Food is well below par.
We enjoyed our last outing in Angelinas so much ,this was a return visit and we'll definitely be back. We had a lovely table overlooking the canal. The service was friendly and the food tasty and well presented.
Went for dinner with my mam and sister. We were seated straight away and giving plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. Our courses came with good space inbetween, so we had time to have a chat amd relax. Restaurant was quite busy but we weren't rushed and probably could have stayed alot longer if we had of wanted. Food was lovely as were staff and service was very good. Will definitely be back. We had a lovely time.
Very easy to deal with and friendly - with a smile :)
We were very well accommodated when we wanted to sit on the terrace despite them not having a table for 8 people outside!
Had the buttermilk pancakes which tasted more like rubber. Clearly reheated at least once. Very disappointing.
Lovely food, but spoiled somewhat by the waitress rushing us away as she needed the table. We had only been there for just over an hour!
Amazing food, amazing service! So good we went back for brunch the next day!
Great atmosphere and food is amazing, really great table service and very friendly and lovely staff looking forward to the next visit.
Angelina's is a nice location, designed with high style but suffers from staff that do not want to service the customer and blatantly ignore you. This is not a one time issue my last three trips have been like this but i've gone back because the food is nice. The staff are walking around and look at you, you can grab eye, wave but if its not of interest they do not come over. This trip we waited 20 mins to order, never received any water after requested.
Based on the other restaurants in the area, I would not return to Angelina's now and wait to see some good reviews that the staff issue has changed.
Lovely spot good food wine a bit pricey roomy and a nice atmosphere would recommend
This is a nice restaurant, but I wasn't that inspired by the meal. It was nice but I expected more. I'm not out that much... maybe I set the bar too high. The place itself is lovely and staff are friendly and attentive.
Amazing food and service, staff were very friendly and a great atmosphere for couples. Nicest food I’ve ever had and definitely worth the money. Beautiful location by the canal with outdoor heating perfect for colder nights. Couldn’t recommend this more.
Gorgeous setting for brunch. Mimosas were fab, really enjoyed it and will be back.
2nd time I was there. 1st time was awesome, this time the service was very bad and not flexible at all. Couldn't get scramble eggs instead of poached eggs and there was no tuna, not many options left
Food very good
Well worth a visit
Only downside very limited choice in bread
As always, Angelina's was a delight. Delicious food, friendly and accommodating staff, lovely wine. Very consistent service every time.
I don’t think I can get across how bad this brunch was, but I’m going to try.
The porridge my friend got was completely inedible - bland, undercooked and visually unappealing. It was just horrific. She had three mouthfuls and had to stop - gloopy slop.
The sourdough bread with spinach, mushrooms, poached eggs and hot sauce that I ordered was also horrible, and the biggest mistake I made was that I ate some of it instead of sending it back!
I don’t even know where to start - the poached eggs were over cooked and under seasoned, the mushrooms and spinach were tasteless and soggy, the bread was burned and soggy as a result of the spinach and the hot sauce was the one of the most disgusting concoctions I have tasted in a very, very long time.
To top it all off I paid €15.50 for food that I couldn’t eat and I would have been able to cook 20 times better myself. A waste of money and calories!
I don’t know how this place has a good reputation, because not only was the food below par, the service was diabolical. The server was uninterested and rude and just about grunted when spoken too.
Very disappointed with this brunch, a glorified dump - safe to say I will not be back again.
Lively place just off Baggot Street and facing the canal. Food is fine and service is efficient, friendly and casual.
Lovely afternoon spent with friends thanks to lovely servers, great cocktails and a super brunch menu!
We had a lovely brunch on Saturday the 24th of November. We had a small child with us who was well looked after by the staff. Great atmosphere . Amazing food! We will definitely be back
All food came out at different times and the waiter just blamed the chef. For example my dad asked for raw cut onions with his steak and the onions came out as he had one fork full of steak left on his plate. The chips also followed after 5-10 minutes of the food.
Staff were so friendly and accommodating, our table stayed chatting for a while after the meal and we were in no way put under any pressure to order more drinks, dessert etc. Would highly recommend!
A very satisfactory experience. Just one point: when two diners from another table went out for a smoke on the canal side the door was left open allowing in a draught of cold air.
Menu at 230pm had only a burger as main course.asked for another menu.got pizza menu.need a bigger selection for main course
Went here for brunch for a graduation, service was good, decor was nice and food and drinks were nice
Pancakes always impress
A very good restaurant with an energetic feel and in a very good location. The food was of a high standard and I will definitely go again.
Fabulous spot for brunch ..have been a few times would definitely recommend it. Food is delicious if overpriced. .
Amazing food and cocktails! Lovely decor only downside is the size of the chairs. I had to give my husband (6ft) the booth side as the chair was small and awkward!
Overall fantastic evening, my girlfriend and I have been for every special occasion and it never fails. We went for her birthday. Food was fantastic, our fries did come about 10 minutes after our food but it didn't matter, they were quickly eaten. Dessert was fantastic and having Happy Birthday written on the plate + a candle without even having to ask was the best touch. Great service, great food, great restaurant
Good service, good food.
The ambiance and decor is great.
We celebrated our daughters graduation. We found Angelinas a very friendly great service fab food. Will eat there again soon.
Dined at Angelinas for the first time last Friday. I liked the ambience and the fact that the tables werent on top of eachother. I also very much liked the fact that we were not rushed from our table and none of this business of "we need the table back in 2hrs" The service was excellent, the food was really tasty anf they have a great selection of drinks. I will be back!
Our service wasn’t great and for some reason there was a 36 euro service charge on a bill of about 142 euro.
The food is very poor, the decor is the only reason this place gets any business I’d imagine. Whomever thought replacing the sauce on a pizza with sweet potato purée, either has no tastebuds or is fairly sadistic. Bonus points for sitting us beside the old man who plus one was an escort!
Lovely staff amazing food
Really good food and ambience !
