The team was very helpful and called me in advance to double check if I wanted a booth (special seating) because they knew it was my birthday. The food was delicious and the portions were great. Our waiter was slightly inattentive at the beginning but it was okay. All in all a great place to eat on every occasion and the food was simply amazing.
Went here for a friend farewell lunch. There were 3 of us and we were seated right away and the waitress came and asked us if we wanted drinks etc. She was very friendly and pleasant. The menu we were offered was their Christmas Menu and all looked amazing. Myself and my friend ordered pizza and my other friend order the Chicken Parmesan dish. Atmosphere was lovely and we were able to have a chat and relax. We eventually realised that we had been waiting nearly 40 minutes for our food and restaurant wasn't as busy and saw table beside us get there food who came after us. We asked the waitress and she realised our order never went through to the kitchen so she quickly ordered it and offered us another drink which we said we were ok for, then gave us a large portion of chips while we waited. She was very apologetic and food came out asap. Food was lovely when we got it, sad we had to rush it as had to go back to work but we did enjoy it and as mentioned waitress was so lovely about the whole situation. When we got bill they had give us a discount which we didn't expect or ask for so felt for a simple mistake that happens they were so apologetic and went out way to ensure we were ok. I have been here before and food has come out quickly and is always nice but always nice to see when error happens how treated even when you don't expect it. Would highly recommend this restaurant for the staff alone :)
.Angelinas is working towards what all Restaurants in Dublin aspire to, “Conscious Leadership”. Seeing this and even better felling this present on the floor is a pleasure to visit every time.
Well done to all involved.
Most of all the obvious passion on display from the front desk and Restaurant Management!
The space is lovely, great ambiance. Food was good, lots of choices and everyone was happy - the veal meatballs stood out in particular. Service was great - the waitress was lovely and did a great job. One of my co-workers couldn't drink and she got a fantastic mocktail that she was really happy with. Beautifully presented, tasted great, she was thrilled. Waitress didn't comment or try to change her mind when she requested a non-alcoholic drink (which unfortunately wasn't the case with some restaurants we had gone to). For that reason alone, I'd go back.
The only downsides were that the first drink we got (a glass of prosecco) was completely flat, the waitress fixed it straight away when we highlighted it and was apologetic. Booked for a work dinner a few weeks in advance and requested a nice table. When we got their the table we were offered wasn't in a great spot and had a view of the corridor the to kitchen (with bins on view). We requested another table and they were able to accommodate.
Overall it was very good and I'll definitely go back.
Lovely ambience, pity about the food - ordered fish which came in a very sickly sweet lemon syrup type sauce. Staff were very keen to rectify and brought some freshly cooked fish This was served without any garnish or butter and my partner had finished eating at that point. Overall disappointed with all the meal and not good value for money
I enjoyed my evening. The food was v good. The menu is not extensive so not for the fussy. It is a bit pricy and the wines are also pricy. Service was very good. Good atmosphere and being there feels like a special occasion rather than just another restaurant.
The food is overpriced. I got a bruschetta and the toast was burnt making it very unpleasant to eat. I had a taste of my friends pizza and it wasn't great either. Another one of my friends got the risotto and said it was quite tasteless. Considering the prices I expected a lot nicer.
Great service, friendly staff- restaurant wasn’t full so slightly disappointed to be seated beside door as was cold breeze when opening/closing. Wine list very extensive but lacking good house option although tasting was suggested by staff which made easier!! Overall food was excellent and reasonably priced for quality - great service !
Hostess seated us after a couple with no reservation, she offered the couple their choice of tables but although I had a reservation for over a week we were seated directly in front of the door and did not offered a choice.
When we asked to be moved as it was a very cold and windy day we were told nothing was available and she walked away, although the restaurant was not full. We were also asked to sit at the bar initially as our table was being cleaned but the table we were seated at after a ten minute wait had been clean and set since our inital arrival.
Eventually our waiter moved us and was incredibly helpful however the hostess left a bad impression.
