Angelina's Ratings and Reviews
I have been in Angelinos twice - both times the staff that served our table were a perfect mix of relaxed engaging personalities mixed with utmost professionalism. Both times the food was excellent and on the first occasion our waiter was very informative on recommended sides and portions sizes and was able to give his opinions when asked on certain drinks and dishes.
It was a very enjoyable experience and one I would be happy to keep repeating!
Very poor food. I would not return. This is my fourth time to go to Angelinas and each time I hope the food will be better. The restaurant space is lovely - although begining to look a bit shabby now especially in the raised area.
Ultimately it is poor food and very overpriced.
Ordered food and it took 50 minutes to come out. Food was fab but the wait left a bad taste in our mouth (excuse the pun) Had 5 mins to eat it as we had to leave for a meeting. There's wasn't even a suggestion of s complimentary cup of coffee, a bit disappointing alright
Organised a good friends special birthday. booked a table for 9. It was a little slow to take out order but it was busy. Great atmosphere, music, lighting and lots of space. The food was delicious and good portion sizes. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly be back again.
Everything was lovely, great service and good atmosphere.
The only but was the scalops, all 5 of us at my table ordered the scallops as a starter and neither of us enjoyed them. They were cooked well but the mustard sauce all over them was too overpowering and really ruined them for us.
I went to Angelinas for an early brunch for my parents anniversary. Its a lovely venue for a special occasion. The staff were very friendly and the food was really good and portion sizes were very generous. Its a bit more expensive for brunch than other places in Dublin but I think the decor makes it worth it.
We went on a Saturday night. The food was fine. Service was very friendly. Good buzzy location. The evening was let down by the constant drafts from the door out onto the canal terrace. No-one made any effort to close this (it was a chilly night). I had to get up from my table to close this at least 5-6 times, only to find it left open again two minutes later.
Food was fine, nothing amazing. Service was poor, seemed like it was an effort for waitress to refill water. No pleasantries past the front desk and table was in dark corner. No ambience. Have had much better experiences on previous occasions but would be hesitant to book again after this weekend.
Nice atmosphere in a beautiful setting, staff friendly and well-varied menu - however service was very slow and when the food arrived (not a complicated order) it was cold. Management very apologetic, and fresh order of food was delicious. Tea also arrived lukewarm, perhaps teapots not heated. Would be reluctant to return.
5 main courses were ordered and we received 4 and a tiny starter . We rolled around the place laughing , reported it but made no big deal about .
However from your side, we received no apology or no effort to correct . You just accepted our humour as "fine no need to do anything"
Booked three weeks in advance and got seated at the worst table in the restaurant. Right opposite the door to the terrace, so sitting in a draught all night. Yet walk in's (at least 2 couples) get seated in a booth that is usually a 4 seater.
Food and service was reasonable. Special night was spoiled by the terrible table. Very disappointed all I wanted to do was leave from the second I sat down.
We had the brunch menu - really great options. The food was delicious. The service was excellent, really friendly staff. I booked ahead and was seated immediately. Would definitely recommend to a friend. I love the interiors , a really comfy, fresh environment. Great for couples and large groups.
