Angelina’s: great food, honestly prepared, simply served.
Weekends and Bank Holiday: 10am – 10pm
Slow service, average food but great atmosphere and location
Absolutely delicious brunch, highly recommend the fries with the Cajun seasoning! Great service, nice buzz on a Sunday! Will definitely recommend and return!
While the food was tasty and the waiting staff very friendly the overall layout and seating arrangements are terrible. My husband and I went for an anniversary meal and found ourselves sitting at the back of a round booth with the back of another customers head in our faces. A large door was left open often during the meal, letting in a cold breeze. My husband had to close this door several times in order to stay warm. We were offered two different tables, one of which was outside, both if which were worse than the table we were seated at.
Nice Friday night after work dinner spot, good buzz and the staff were lovely. A bit pricey for what it is but no complaints.
Good night had.
Had a nice dinner there. The service was pleasant and quick. Food was tasty.
As a regular and enthusiastic luncher at Angelina's until about a year ago, I was glad to have the chance to return with a group of friends for dinner. Decent starters and wine were followed by bland mains which we would have eaten without complaint but for some horrible service/manners from one of the waiting team when one of the party asked for some sauce to enliven a dull fish dish. After speaking to the manager, the service charge was removed, however, we certainly won't be back. Very disappointing.
Would definitely go back to Angelinas for dinner. Pizza was delicious. The only down side was we need to ask for more water a nunber of times but its not really a complaint. Defìnitely a must place to eat and drink
The food was good, nice place for a business meal. Service was a bit slow.
Went on a Sunday afternoon when it was very busy for Brunch. The waitress took our drinks order and came back missing one drink. When this was pointed out she was very short with us, effectively blaming us for the mistake, to the point where we all remarked on her tone when she walked away. We waited a long time to be able to order food. One of our dishes was wrong and had to be returned. After that the service got better. The food was nice but eggs on toast with bacon at €15 is not good value. We waited again for the bill to be brought. Would not return. There are better places for Brunch in Dublin.
My husband and I went for brunch on Sunday morning. The food was lovely. I had the French toast and my husband had the Angelina’s breakfast. The brunch cocktails were lovely as well. This was my second time here and I’m glad the girl that served our table was lovely and had a big smile on her, because the first time I went was on Friday night and the girl serving the outside area was apparently having a bad day which was unfortunately rubbing off onto the customers by the means of neglect.
Great decor, nice atmosphere. Lovely food, friendly service and reasonable.
Service just a little unfriendly at times :(
Lovely menu, very friendly efficient service. Most enjoyable evening.
Excellent service, impressive decor and enjoyable ambiance
Lovely place, my fav spot for brunch during the weekends!
Interiors are beautiful and lovely setting right on the canal. Services was OK, felt like staff wanted to get rid of us even though there were plenty of free tables. Some were nice but others were a bit rude. Food was good but pricey.
Although atmosphere and service were good, the food was really poor.
Gorgeous food and lovely staff who gave me complimentary ice cream as i had just graduated from college. Really nice and appreciated touch.
A nice ambience and food good - the staff were pleasant but they are too stretched and unorganised - long time between courses. I would return but not for lunch when most people are watching the clock
Dined as a group of 8, friendly atmosphere and plenty of room at the table, all food we ordered was good, & service was quick
Could have a broader selection of vegetarian options.
Delicious food and very friendly staff who went out of their way to get us a table outside on a sunny day!
Nice table on the terrace. Best place in Dublin for brunch
Great spot to catch up with friends, the food was lovely but the waiter was a bit rude and service could have been improved.
I liked the decor, lighting etc and location but it was quite loud which detracted from the ambience. The food was ok but nothing amazing. Some of the girls experienced hard poached eggs and found the avocado not to be very fresh. With as much competition as there is out there, those were rookie mistakes. Also I'm a huge egg benedict fan but didn't like the presentation of the pork - would have been much nicer if the fat had been cut away and the meat shredded. For what I got I found it quite expensive, I don't mind paying top dollar but I want top quality food!
Lovely place and they held our reservation even though we were late (I called them).
Food good as usual. Big portions. Only thing is the extra stuff they are charging for. Like asking for mascarpone for french toast.
Delicious brunch (we had the Angelinas breakfast), coffee and fresh orange juice. Love the decor at Angelinas, it was beautiful and had a great atmosphere.
We had a really lovely night. We were celebrating our anniversary & a birthday & had asked for a nice table. We got a lovely booth table with canal views. Will most definitely be returning!
Fantastic food with great Service. Our waitress was knowledgeable and smiled the entire evening. A perfect place for family and friends.
First parmesan chicken salad came out covered in avocado, menu did not say it had this in it. I don’t eat avocado and would never order anything with avocado in it. So sent it back. Said they would do a fresh one. Came out in 60 seconds. Wasn’t fresh as chicken was burnt on places and over cooked. However I didn’t send it back. Pasta special carbonara not very warm and pasta somewhat congealed. Like it had been ready a while.
Table next to us got carbonara and it looked a hell of a lot different and better than the dish we got. Mainly work people on lunch in there but we weren’t part of that group. My advice don’t go at this time. Unless u want fast food served up to you but quality of what is sent out not checked. It may be better in the evening.
Friendly staff, lovely décor, delicious food.
Not the cheapest but nice for an occasion/treat.
We went for a brunch on a Sunday. The venue is cool, nice decoration, and beautiful terrace on the canal.
The food was OK. The juices were very poor, smalls and too much ice/water on my opinion. Coffees were better. The staff was very friendly but the service in general was too slow. For some reason we wait too much time to get the food (more than 30min since we ordered) however I appreciate that all dishes were served at the same time.
Great brunch spot.
Great decor and relaxed vibe
Excellent pizza and cocktails. Service was very attentive — if anything a bit too quick.
Beautiful restaurant with a good menu.
Slow service, often left unattended, had to call the waiter.
They gave us the wrong food and rushed off before we could say anything. Then we waited a while to get the correct dish. They forgot about us multiple times (ask for the bill and then have to remind them 10 minutes later)
A very buzzy place. We went on a Sunday for brunch with my partner’s parents and they had a great time as well. Very comfortable seating and very suitable for groups.
Great brunch spot with a broad menu and amazing service
Would recommend the pancakes, they are deliciously indulgent! However as with many of the PressUp Group restaurants, the prices are higher than they need to be. Some brunch dish prices were €15+!
Great service, energetic and friendly staff. Food was great.
Had a great date night at Angelinas at the weekend. Very good service, excellent cocktails, some superb fish dishes and lovely surroundings and decor - the terrace is brilliant even in the rain. Highly recommend, keeps getting better and better
