Menu full of great choices. Wanted to try something different for me, so I chose the Chicken bolognese dish and it was delicious. Wine and beer list had something for everyone in my party. Alex was a great server. Hostess was lovely as well. We will return.

The menu is very lacking, poor selection of wines for an Italian restaurant. Service was nonexistent, and they were not 10 % full. Someone spent a lot of money making a beautiful restaurant in the perfect location with no follow-through. Most disappointing. The food manager did come out and was kind and attentive, but that does not make up for ruining my date

Bread and ricotta appetizers were the only food that was delicious. Carbonara was bad and bolonese was not even ok. Don't waste your time and money on food here. From the entrance to leaving we had wonderful service and the place is pretty.

What a mess of a day the restaurant was having. Oven was broken taking pizza and baked items off the list. The danish variety had one “cream puff” available. The yogurt parfait with granola and they were out of granola. Too many places in a big city to be this big of a disaster.

Part of the Kimpton hotel, but has access from the outside welcoming everyone in. We had the clams and the ricotta cheese for appetizers and the Porcheta for dinner. Food was delicious and the service was great. My only negative is that their wine list was limited.

We came to Angeline’s to celebrate my Godson's 16th birthday. We had a lovely time and enjoy the whole experience. Our waiter was engaging and the was amazing. Thank you to everyone who made the dining experience rememberable for me and my Godson.

We had heard so many great things about Angeline's and were excited to eat there. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Our server was more interested in everything else going on in the restaurant than looking at us and engaging. He interrupted every time he came to the table, rather than waiting for someone to finish their sentence or story and turn to engage him. The food was ok but nothing that I would come back for and the drinks took forever to arrive. There are much better restaurants in town, at Southpark, at Lake Norman so we won't be back.

We had a great meal at Angeline’s as usual! This has become our go-to spot for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, and even celebrating our engagement! Joe took great care of us for dinner and we will definitely be back!

The food and service was absolutely perfect. I didn't have one negative issue and my date and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter was on his game the entire evening and kept our table filled with drinks. He also had the perfect balance so as not to neglect or be a continuous nuisance with frequent interuptions. It was my first visit and I'll certainly be back.

First time at this restaurant and probably last. Food was decent. Their bread was amazing and my wine was delicious. We had a reservation at 5:15 on Monday. My friend and I had finished our dinner and was wrapping up conversation. Exactly at 6:30 someone stopped by our table and asked if we wanted more water. My friend said yes since her glass was empty and then we were “gently” reminded that there were other reservations coming in and that they could move us to the bar area. It was a little embarrassing - why ask if we wanted more water? We were finishing up which was why there was no water in her glass. The restaurant was not full, plenty of other open tables, no one waiting at the door, and I checked reservations online and still open slots. I’m sure they did have other reservations coming in but they were not busy at that time. Just a disappointing end to our dinner.

Food was good. Service was terrible. Forgot our appetizer had to ask for bread midway through our meal. No butter or oil. Took our drink order, food order and dropped off check. All we saw of her. We went for lunch and several drinks but we weren't given the option of ordering even a second drink.

Just stopping in Charlotte traveling to Florida and found this gem. First, the interior is quite nice and there is a patio for warmer weather dining. I had a specialty cocktail featuring Evan Williams bourbon and walnut bitters…I forgot the name but it was outstanding. We ordered the ricotta with rustic bread and split a Caesar salad for starters. Both were outstanding. The pasta of the night was equally outstanding in a brown butter sauce with generous pancetta. Neither of us could finish! In all an excellent stop on our way!

Good food, very nice ambiance, good service. Prices seem a tad high for just the food, but you're paying for the entire experience, and it's worth the cost. But I don't think the value is off the charts either. The whipped ricotta is very very good - I'd recommend starting with that, it's probably my favorite thing we've had there (this was our second visit). The pasta is made in-house and is good. We haven't tried the pizza yet or most of the main entres, but that'll probably be on the list the next time we go to Angeline's -- averaging about once a year at this point, so who knows when that'll be, but overall solid, and a good option if looking for something uptown and you like Italian food like we do.
