Rated as one of Melbourne’s best value dining experiences, we invite you to share in a truly unique dining experience at our award winning training venue the Angliss Restaurant.

Angliss Restaurant is the Institute's flagship venue and the home of the Great Chefs program. The Angliss Restaurant provides a professional-standard training environment for our students and an affordable dining experience for guests. The food style offered at Angliss is a fusion of contemporary and classical influences. Guests will enjoy culinary delights from final year apprentice chefs and cookery students and impeccable fine dining service provided by hospitality students.

Lavish three course buffet lunches and dinners are also available throughout the year. These offer excellent value, with choices including soup, salads, hot dishes, roast carvery and a selection of desserts.

Nice atmoshere excellent service meals were very tasty i had the scollaps for my entree and they were delish it was a lovely experience and i highly recommend going the staff were amazing

The Great Chef’s night was outstanding! Every course was beautifully presented and delicious! The wines were perfectly matched too. I would highly recommend eating at William Angliss Restaurant.

My friends and I booked the ‘great chef’ lunch with Ben Cooper from Chin Chin. Very good value, yummy food and wine. And the hospitality students both in the kitchen and front of house were very professional. Well done William Angliss!

I brought a couple of first time diners to your dinner service. Service was attentive, food was definitely value for money and we enjoyed our main courses. A bonus was meeting the head chef and student chefs and chatting with them about what their career aspirations are. Will be back to sample your other dishes. Was told that the parsnip soup and steak (I ordered scallops and fish) were winners!

For a group of students who are currently learning, this was a fabulous restaurant. Food was delicious and well presented , and the wait staff were friendly and attentive.

Roasted sirloin was okay but would be great if more red wine jus was added. Combination of Pistachio cake with orange and turkish delight ice cream doesn't seem to be compatible; it didn't taste good for me. We ordered one drink (lemon lime bitter) but wasn't served straightaway until we reminded Nona. Nona served our table and she did it well and with a smile. Good luck to you and keep it up.
