Despite this having a long standing great reputation, the food is just sub par. My daughter's entree was actually missing the rice on the plate; both our fish dishes were just so so. Service is great, but it just doesn't make up for a limited menu that's not innovative nor spectacular. Too overpriced for food that just isn't anything to write home about!

This is definitely not the fine dining experience we imagined at the well known Antoine’. My husband found a hair in his old fashioned and didn’t get the side order of asparagus. I sent my filet mignon back twice for incorrect cooking and finally ate it poorly seasoned. Server snubbed the $25 tip we left. Never going back.

Eat Oysters Rockefeller most famous dish I ordered Oyster Rockefeller, their best known dish and I got a card I'm customer --- ordering this oyster Roast created in 1899 by the original owner,,,fish Pompano Pontchartrain Grilled pompano fish fillet, buttered jumbo crab meat, white wine reduction, onion rice Pompano Pontchartrain Grilled pompano fish fillet, buttered jumbo crab meat, white wine reduction, onion rice Pompano is expensive. I read that it is a rare and difficult fish to catch. They say it's the best fish in the world, but I think fresh cod is better and others This was the most expensive dish in the house. I only asked out of curiosity about that fish Pecan Nut Bread Pudding Bread, eggs, cream, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins and butter-rum sauce. And Seasonal Fruit Cheesecake Creole cheesecake, biscuit pie shell and fresh Louisiana fruit compote. Creole - the corrector got it wrong - it's Louisiana style food, mix of African, Indian, French and Spanish I didn't like the cheesecake I had already read that it is less sweet and has ricotta-like pasta I found it doughy and caloric, and the hot pudding was better

Classic goodness. Staff is superb- their service is like no other we’ve ever experienced. Example- your ice water melts and they switch out your water for another full glass with ice water. Food is tasty- charbroiled oysters over the oyster Rockefeller all day! French dip is simple until you dip that au ju- it’s heavenly (the ju). Shrimp creole with crab is good but can do a little less of the rosemary oregano. Creamy asparagus soup was decadent and can have bowls and bowls of it. Lastly, baked Alaska is humongous like a hippo of straight merengue pound cake French vanilla ice cream deliciousness. Worth the trip.

Expected more. No idea why Soufflé potatos are even on the menu. Disappointing and over priced. $46 fish entree was average, but no reason to be prices as much as the filet! Overall disappointing. They are riding on their history. You are paying for the name, nothing more. Better food elsewhere...

Very disappointing- this was not a “fine dining” experience by any stretch. The dress code is simply not enforced- patrons were in T-shirts, shorts, and baseball caps everywhere. The two waiters assigned to us were amateur and sloppy, one had an unbuttoned shirt. Cocktails were expensive and poorly made- my Old Fashioned was so sweet that it was undrinkable. Food was unremarkable at best. There are many, many restaurants in the quarter with better service, food, and drink.

Antoine’s never disappoints! The food is always exceptional. Murphy and Meghan made our visits very special. Our twins were celebrating their 21st birthdays. We visited Antoine’s on Friday and they wanted to go back on Saturday (for their actual birthday meal). We had another fabulous meal and topped it off with the Baked Alaska. We are from Maryland and a visit to New Orleans wouldn’t be complete without eating at Antoine’s! We can’t wait to return.

We had a FANTASTIC server TEAM - Noah and Christian! He and his assistant were wonderful. Food took a very long time. And, although tasty, the temperature was poor when it finally arrived. Was highly recommended on our first trip to NOLA, however I probably wouldn't be in a rush to return or recommend based on this first experience.

Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience. The service was absolutely terrible, extremely long wait times between when the waiters would come & check on us. We were in a side room with less people and it felt like we were forgotten. The table next to us ended up cursing out the waiter & assistant because of how long they had to wait for thing, and caused a scene. No one ever came over to check on us or apologize, they didn’t even apologize to the other table for their wait. The only glimmer of positivity was the wine steward who brought our bottle of champagne before dessert. He was very charming and told us about the restaurant & it’s history and connection to his family and asked us how we were doing and what we were celebrating for. Our bill was over $500 and we still left a 20% tip, but we were left feeling as though a once great culinary institution has really fallen to the wayside.
