We chose to offer small plates of the Italian classics as we wanted to allow you to taste & enjoy more! From the traditional Roman dishes Carbonara & Cacio e Pepe to Panzanella from Tuscany & Arancini from Sicily, we wanted to give a good representation of the whole of Italy. The interior of our location hosts an intimate ambience that will make you feel as though you have been transported to an Italian swing joint in the 1950s..

This a a lovely little restaurant that specialises in small Italian dishes, a sort of Italian tapas bar. It has a good wine and cocktail list. In the early evening the place was full of, mainly, young women on their way home from work or out for the evening. But, thanks to the very helpful, friendly staff, I really enjoyed my meal there. I am a man in my 70s and my partner a woman of around the same age. We both recommend Aperitivo Cicchetti.

Me and my husband ate there yesterday, after reading the views from other guests. We absolutely loved it, and the concept with «tapas sizes» servings. We recommend this cute place.

Tender little spot for when you’re in the mood for divine Italian food & want to enjoy more than your usual one main course dish. Paired with a Hugo to start and a juicy nebbiolo, the pork and fennel meatballs were bursting with flavour, as was the cocktail-shaker poured carbonara & gorgeous gnocchi. Perfect for a date or intimate dinner with friends.

Food was beautiful we had the deep fried praws which were delicious.we had a selection of different coctails the hugo was beautiful. Staff were very helpful and constantly filling up my water, which was a nice touch staff were very attentive.nice relaxed atmosphere and we were very impressed would definitely go again

Gorgeous little spot - the food highlights just why la cucina Italiana is so popular around the world. Every morsel was gorgeous. Added to that the friendly service with expert wine advice; we had a sublime lunch and it was worth pushing the boat out for an extra few bob. Heartily recommend a visit for food and wine lovers alike! (The coffee’s great too) can’t wait to get back!

Lovely tapas bar. Excellent service & friendly atmosphere. Food was delicious. Only downside was the 20% service charge added to the bill for a party of four. Only noticed when at home that it states on the bill that you are not obliged to pay service charge. Rookie error

Bear in mind that the place is small, with tables very close to each other - so booking a table beforehand is almost mandatory! We had a booking for two hours and when time was almost up, the waiter simply brought the check without us having requested it. We were pretty much done anyways, but the overall feeling was that we were being shooed out because they needed the table for somebody else. Having said that, the food is really good - although the gnocchi with basil was very bland. My personal favourites were the arancini fontina and the spezzatino alla genovese. The staff were all friendly and attentive to our needs.

This is a small but mighty restaurant, with excellent food and service. The small plates are a great opportunity to be able to sample many different types of food, and everything we tried was amazing. Highly recommend the burrata, the linguine with clams, breaded chicken and the rocket salad.

Food and service were both amazing, I would just add that it is highly unusual to automatically add 12.5% service charge to a table of 2. We would always tip, and likely more than the 12.5% as the food was amazing. Its just very sly to add it to a table of 2 and not point it out, dishonest.

Four of us loved our meal for a 50th birthday, it was a treat so we ordered cocktails, wine and food and enjoyed every bit of it. The service was excellent, very attentive and lovely waiter from Buenos Aires. We will definitely be back and would recommend. There was no non alcoholic beer available which was a pity for my husband who was driving but I loved the langue rosso wine.
