Asador is a barbecue restaurant located just a 2 minute walk from Grand Canal Dart station. The restaurant serves barbecue food on an asador grill and was the first of its kind in Dublin. Started by 3 friends who wanted to bring the experience they had enjoyed in countries such as Spain and South Mercia to Dublin's diners. The menu offers Irish dishes with a twist, such as a Scallop and black pudding skewer while offering steaks and a selection of seafood grill dishes.
Asador has a fully enclosed heated terrace that seats 40.

Asador Ratings and Reviews
Ordered burgers , the taste and smell of cheese was over whelming when I mentioned it to the supervisor he didn't seem to concerned about customer satisfaction. When he took out plates which were full I would have expected him to ask did we not enjoy the food but he didn't ! Not impressed with this service or food
We are superb dinner.... it was our last evening visiting your Emerald Isle, and we couldn't have picked a more delicious and memorable restaurant ! The service was excellent and the food was prepared perfectly. The best dining experience we have had in a very long time!
We would go back again and again! Great menu too!
Try it and enjoy...
This was a return visit for my husband and I, but first one for our young adult children. As before, the food is excellent and the staff are so professional and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend Asador for all ages and occasions. Will be back sooner rather than later.
This was our first visit, but certainly won't be our last. We had the sea bass special and the fillet steak. Both were perfect, 10/10 meals. The same was true of our desserts (chocolate delice and bakewell tart). I can't recommend this place enough.
The only note I'd add is that it reservation from OpenTable hadn't filtered through to the restaurant. It was quiet when we arrived, so not a problem, but if you're booking for a busier time of day I'd recommend calling to check they got your reservation.
Usual so good but they had a real off night this time. Our steak was significantly over cooked. The test of a restaurant is how they handle this and they did well. Still, very hard to rescue the situation. Even more frustrating when steak is a speciality of the house.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Asador...Firstly the food was superb the nicest steak i've had in long time in Dublin!, The service was exceptional from booking to on the night, and we really enjoyed the evening from start to finish. The personalised birthday dessert was also a wonderful touch. Will definitely be back.
