Asador is a barbecue restaurant located just a 2 minute walk from Grand Canal Dart station. The restaurant serves barbecue food on an asador grill and was the first of its kind in Dublin. Started by 3 friends who wanted to bring the experience they had enjoyed in countries such as Spain and South Mercia to Dublin's diners. The menu offers Irish dishes with a twist, such as a Scallop and black pudding skewer while offering steaks and a selection of seafood grill dishes.

We had a fantastic meal, the service was great. The staff are so friendly and welcomining. The food is amazing. Excellent wine list too.

Our starters took an hour to arrive. Mine was very good but not very big! Two of us had the striploin. The steaks were pretty tough and stringy and not at all what I Would have expected from an establishment that prides itself in BBQ and beef. Very disappointing. The sides were very good. The service was good. The bill would have been ok had the meal been better but to be honest I have eaten much better for the same cost or less in other restaurants. In the basis of this experience I would be back to or recommend Asador.

We were seated outside (which was covered) and I have to say it was way better than expected! Inside looked very busy and quite loud, outside was very pleasant. And the food and wine was really good, will definitely go again :)

It was a lovely experience overall. One of the best we have had in a while. The steak had a bit of a charcoal taste that my partner thought took away from the flavour of the meat.
