Aunty Jack's is Katoomba's hottest casual space for sharing plates and good times! The restaurant is fully licensed offering a great selection of local tinnies, regional wines and old-school cocktails. The kids will be kept happy with a range of milkshakes and spiders that can be upgraded to a 'big kids' version with any choice of spirit or liqueur.
The menu is inspired by classic Australian meals 'like mum used to make', as well as the Mountain's best burgers and crunchy chips!

3rd time for a slack off Sunday event seeing Rachel Brady and the Moonshine Special. Band as always was great. The staff, their service and venue are great but the limited food menu on Sunday nights is a little poor. Quality of the burgers is ok but not enough to want to pay +$20 for them.

Underground gem. Greeted at the door by friendly staff..a helpful discussion about drinks, then settled into booth. Burgers & chips came quickly..delicious.Caesar salad proved to have the perfect amount of tasty dressing although I'd prefer my egg less chopped.
Music & dancing to Raechel Brady. Fabulous!

Slack Off Sundays at Aunty Jack's are always loud and loads of fun whenever Rachel Brady and the Moonshine Express are playing! I have booked in and brought a different group of friends each time. Friends are WOWed and always leave satisfied and joyful from the ambiance, food, and entertainment!

Fantastic service, great hearty food. Tasty cocktails and good wine list. And oh my gosh so dietary friendly. Even though theres really only one dish that can be done without onions, its tasty and the staff remembered my dietary needs everytime Ive come in. No need to explain my whole dietary life story dozens of times which is a relief 😀

My beef patty in my burger was red ROAR!! Waitress said it was the beetroot bleeding through the meat. Sorry it was ROAR!! and totally uncooked. No offer to replace or throw on the grill for a few minutes.
Chicken wings uncooked again with blood close to the bone.

Well decorated pub experience in the 60's, 70's style, and include such amusements as knitting and games. Great to use different chairs and sofa's from that era too. Good ambience and waiting staff are great, cheerful and helpful. Enjoyed our two Sunday evenings with the live music. Thanks.

Loved taking our mum there for her birthday. They had a live blues guitarist and we thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Aunty Jack's is a local spot that offers great classic food, fun live music acts, and amazing snacks and cocktails. It's built to resemble a kitschy living room and the staff are so friendly you'll feel right at home. The burgers are really tasty and the shakes are super delicious. Every time I come here I have to get the peach cobbler for dessert - it is simply perfection with every bite. Thoroughly recommended!

Great music in funky surroundings - will be returning to check out the cosy library setting and the heritage games over coffee.
The live music was great and the bill was very reasonable.

We had a great time, especially the kids, the waiter was wonderful with them. Great board games to keep them occupied while the adults chatted. The food was OK, wine, beer and cocktails were great. Would recommend it as a place to drop in for a drink and snack for families and groups of friends. Thank you!

I love the eclectic ambience at Aunty Jack’s plus the great free music on Sunday evenings. And the menu is great, the portion sizes generous and the retro drinks are great fun. It’s a great place to just kick back and chill, or have a dance when the music is right. And the service is fabulous too! Well done all!

Efficient and friendly staff! Fantastic live music for Slack-Off Sunday!
The ONLY shortcoming was the coffee...flat white contained more froth than a latte and the long black was expressed too long making the coffee bitter.

It's so kitsch and so retro. What's not to love about this place. The staff are very attentive but in no way intrusive. Great atmosphere, delicious food. The milk shakes are delicious, would go there just for a milk shake!

Great atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price. We went to hear some live music and hadn't been to Aunty Jacks before so was pleasantly surprised by the great decor and food. The service was attentive and enthusiastic. All of the group commented that we'd happily return for food and/or music.

I love Aunty Jack’s. I come here regularly, sometimes for lunch, sometimes for coffee and often for dinner. Being vegetarian I like that there are a few options other than just chips, the zucchini burger is one I rarely can go past!

Excellent coffee, delicious food, good vibes and music, very friendly staff - everything you could want. The decor makes each visit feel like a trip down memory lane, with little homely touches all around.
Aunty Jack’s is good for all types, for large groups, small groups, families, dates or even a little self date!

My husband, friends and I have brought board games a couple of times to enjoy after our meal, and if you forget to bring your own they have a few options there for you.

I highly recommend Aunty Jack’s.
