It was amazing!! Best in London
A great experience! Same as the one of the NYC Bagatelle... :-)
All waiters are fun and attentive, super fun
The ambience was very nice but everything else was below average. The food is over severely overpriced for what's it is worth, and service is really bad, the pressure you to order the food quickly without giving us time to settle down and made us feel like we are sitting on conveyer belt and have to order and eat our food so quickly.
Loved!!!!! Best atmosphere, the food, the music and the waiters !
An amazing vibe/atmosphere! Went for brunch for a nice girls day out and had the best time, great music and everyone’s there to have a great time. Negatives being the good, pretty average. Burgers were cooked raw when asked to be medium well so half the table had finished eating when the new burgers arrive. Drinks are very very expensive. All in all, good vibe and decent food
Very underwhelming. Empty restaurant with excessive fuss and under average food
I've visited Bagatelle on Thursday(20.06)
I was really looking forward to my dinner with my best friend ,unfortunately we were running a bit late due to my friend finishing work a bit later to what she suppose to(she is a nurse )
I rang Bagatelle and did make them aware that we are coming but we are running approx 20 min late-the girl from the reception said that it was ok ,however we will have to vacate table at 10(which obvs was a fair call!)
We got to the restaurant at 20:25 the girls at the reception greeted us nicely and then one of them said that we have an hour for dinner -I didn't think much of it ,only when I sat down at the table I said to my friend that it's 1,5h not an hour and probably she got that wrong
We ordered some drinks ,starters and main and really enjoyed overall atmosphere of the place.
After finishing all the food the waiter asked if we wanted any desserts I've asked him if we can have 10 min rest ,and he said that we don't really have much time as they needed a table back so I looked at the time and at that point it was 9:25 I said to him don't we keep the table until 10???(standard 2h)
He said that he needs to confirm with his manager
Than the guy with the braces on his teeth came and started the conversation with :"I TOLD YOU THAT YOU CAN HAVE TABLE FOR AN HOUR"I was a bit shock with his approach and lack of customer service presented
So than I said to him why is that?Fair enough we were late but still 2h is just a standard time for a table
Than he raised his voice again and told me that :"I AM LUCKY THAT HE DIDNT CANCEL MY RESERVATION AS IT SHOULD BE DONE AFTER 15MIN OF "no show"
At that point I just wanted to leave and avoid further embarrassment as didn't enjoy somone talking down to me anymore
So I said to him not to worry and asked for bill ,but he still didn't let go and carry on talking I did tell him that I didn't need his lesson and asked for the bill again
£225-and massive disappointment from the service we got
Always a fun evening out.
I loved the atmosphere and food. great friendly welcoming hosts, our server made our night. Must come back again soon!
Very loud music yet enjoyable.
Expensive food for average service.
Alot of fun! Decent food and even better vibe! Would defo recommend!
So much fun!!!
Amazing place and the staff looking after us for sure. Party Party
My friend booked the table for me telling me that the french night at Bagatelle on Wednesday night was going to be the place to be in town. We really enjoy the night overall. Good food and good service we also liked the special selection of cocktails their offer.
The music was amazing. Definitely going back to Bagatelle we felt we where home.
Good job to the staff
An amazing ambiance! Delicious food! Had a lot of fun!
Best experience . Amazing staff , great food and nice music
I went with my family and the staff were incredible! Honestly the best service I’ve seen in a long time, will be coming back for sure! Merci :)
Really good experience for my bday- good vibes and good music
Was very pricey though- my friend ordered a g&t and the waiter got her the most expensive one... but apart from that we had a great time
The food wasn’t as per the standard of bagatelle.
The food quality were les than the value that we spent
Everything was great. Just make sure you check if everything is right on the bill. They charged us £74 for a pizza which is £34 on the menu.
The service was amazing, every member of staff went above & beyond to make our experience as perfect as it was.
The food was amazing & the ambiance was classy yet fun. I definitely recommend & will be going back.
Great service and the staff took good care of us
We were celebrating hen do, it was a lovely evening with lots of laughter and fun waiters!
Great attitude of the stuff and tasty food and cocktails!
Was great fun xxx
Great place. Come with your wallet healthy and a smile on your face. Good food and party times.
Very poor service and overrated with no value
The food was mediocre, tasteless and some of the plates were brought cold
Best Place in London !
Good food and really the best service in town!!
The food was lovely and the ambience was very lively however the service we received was awful. We were removed from our table half an hour before our two hour slot was up as the next guests had arrived. It was also my birthday and we were told there was no time to bring my cake out.
We had booked brunch for 12 and arrived at 11:55. We were told they were not open and to wait five minutes, no waiting area so that means outside. At 12:10 staff were still chatting and having their team meeting. We walked down the road and back arriving back at 12:20 as we felt awkward hovering around outside to which point the receptionist rudely told us the table had to be returned at 2. Which would be fine had they actually been in a position to seat us at 12, which they weren’t. When I raised this issue I was told very rudely that we left ‘without permission’ despite there being no one to talk to and nowhere to sit. The food was mediocre but the entire experience was soured by the extremely inept and lacking in manners front of house staff. They are far more interested in their appearance than delivering a service and for this reason alone I will never return to this restaurant. There are tonnes of restaurants in London you can go to for good food and good atmosphere without being treated like a second rate citizen by a hyped up front of house employee. I only wonder how many other people would go out of their way to discourage people from booking this restaurant and not returning owing to their initial welcoming.
Amazing food and service was excellent.
The place is too load, good for teenagers
Service was outstanding! They catered for our every need, couldn’t fault at all!
Very poor service and overrated and no value
Unreal food, lobster pasta 👍🏻
Great atmosphere, the waiters were really friendly and the music and food were awesome.
Normally I love Bagatelle, yet this time we were seated downstairs. My brother came over for the weekend and I wanted him to enjoy the show etc. We only got to see the basement with a lousy DJ and no show. Too bad.
Staff and food
Staff are pretty rude, we arrived 10 mins late due to traffic, so no welcome for us, just repeated warnings about needing the table back. The table turned out to be the worst one in the restaurant too.
The staff insist on asking your your name and shaking your hand, this seemed horribly forced and weird.
Restaurant was full of people taking selfies and shouting loudly and some drunk woman dancing on a chair(sadly she didn’t fall off). It’s not a premium dining experience or a fine dining experience.
Food was much better than the atmosphere and the sommelier was a throughly nice chap.
I’d probably go back if I was on a stag with some people from Essex and some one else was paying.
