   This is the second time I've visited recently. The first my service was so bad that a manager noticed and gave me a refund without me asking - I actually told the manager it wasn't necessary but he insisted. I was so impressed with that gesture, that we tried again. This time wasn't much better. We ordered drinks that were served in dirty glasses (salt and tahin still stuck to the rim from the last drink), we didn't receive food we ordered, never got a glass of water the whole time we sat. The tacos were good but I'm not sure we'll repeat. There are many other places to get tacos just as good or better.

   Had a wonderful time at Bakersfield! The food was amazing and the staff was so nice! Get the queso dip and pair it with the Bakersfield margarita!

   A friend and I came to explore Cincinnati and Bakersfield was recommended. Our waiter Jason was awesome and recommended some really seclusions food and drink options! The pineapple margarita was our favorite drink and we enjoyed the loaded queso dip! It was different but all the ingredients in the queso dip paired well together! We both had tacos, I had the short rib and Baja shrimp and my friend had the short rib as well and the Al pastor which she said was the best out of her two! Over all good food and drinks, a really cool ambiance ands great service!

    The pineapple margaritas are just sooo good! Add fresh jalapeños for a 🤌🏼 no one will ever top the queso in my opinion!

    My husband and I are always looking for good Mexican food. We decided to try Bakersfield OTR since it received good reviews. The food was excellent. My husband got a huge chicken sandwich and said it was very good. I got some vegetarian tacos. I added crema and quac and they were fantastic. Our waitress was attentive and helpful since this was our first visit. I enjoyed the Bakersfield Margarita immensely and would recommend it. We had an early dinner so it was not at all crowded. This is def a place we will return to in the future.

    My mom, sister, and I had dinner before a show at Music Hall, a 5 minute walk from there. We were delighted and impressed by the food, margaritas, service and aesthetics. The only downside was how loud the music was, having to raise our voices to chat. Stand out favorites were the queso, salsa verde, guacamole, shrimp taco, and pork taco. All three of us are eager to go again soon.

    I like Bakersfield the tacos are just small and the food comes super fast. Made date night way too fast and not a feel of like a nice sit down place.

    Bakersfield OTR has an amazing initial vibe. Trendy decor all packed into a small space. Had to wait 30 minutes for a reservation on a Saturday night but found seats at the bar that made the wait fly by. We got different types of fish tacos that were the perfect size and packed with flavor. Overall, great experience.

    Took and out-of-town friend to Bakersfield for dinner. He took one bite of his taco and said, "This is the best taco I've ever had." I have to agree. Great place for food, drink, sides and conversation.

    The bakey boy is always a good time. It’s a great place in OTR to pop in and sit at the bar for a quick drink and chip & dip.

    Made a spontaneous reservation with my friends and it was fantastic!! The tacos were excellent, the margaritas were excellent, and our waitress recommended a delicious grapefruit margarita that wasn’t on the menu yet as part of the test market - so good!! Can’t wait to go back.

    Lucked out since we didn't know there were "Taco Tuesday" discounts. Both the chicken verde and Huitacoche (sp?) tacos were delicious! My friend and I shared the roasted cauliflower with mushrooms & TASTY seasonings. My Cranberry-Ginger margarita didn't taste like either, but was still great. The only negative was sitting near the front door; blast of cold air often during dinner.
