Best Cocktails in Dublin. Great staff. Only issue is you can only book the tables for a certain amount of time. I understand from a food / restaurant point of view. When you are meeting your friends for a catch up you dont want to be looking at your watch. Not relaxing in that way. Otherwise i love the place!

Amazing, interesting cocktails and attentive and knowledgeable service; thoroughly enjoyed. My only complaint is we were sat right next to the door, and just under a loudspeaker so it was very busy and noisy with people coming and going (a little bothersome). This could have spoiled an evening in a lesser spot but the positives outweigh the circumstances by far, and it’s only the one table where you’d have this really.

Really rushed, we’ve been here multiple times. This time when I booked I noticed that they give you 90 minutes for two people on a Saturday. Fair enough! We arrived a few minutes early and got seated ones our table was free. Got menus but it took some time For them to take our order, once we had our first drink it felt like a rushed experience. 30 minutes before our slot was up we were reminded we had half an hour left, we had already ordered our second drink at that stage. Once we had that they put the bill on our table. We paid before we had finished our drinks and with like 10mins left in our time window and some drink remaining in the glass one of the servers told us the next reservation was waiting. Incredible drinks but felt very rushed.

Have always enjoyed ourselves each time we go here. Drinks are fun and different. Service is quick and staff friendly. Have never had food here but this site required I give a rating so gave it a "good". It is finger food that is offered here...hummus, nuts oysters and so on.

Bar 1661 has the most interesting menu you could imagine, but everything still manages to be absolutely delicious. This is easily the best cocktail bar in Dublin, and I think it’s better than many craft places I’ve been to in New York. 10000/10

We celebrated our anniversary with them and couldn’t be happier about it .. so kind and thoughtful, very generous and lovely all around. I’ve been in hospitality for over 20 years , and those folks really do a terrific job . We hope to be back one day , absolutely stellar !!

The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us drinks suggestions based on our tastes. She asked us what we like and what we normally order for a cocktail and came back and surprised us with 2 amazing cocktails! The complementary drink on arrival was lovely as well. Would definitely recommend it!

Lovely pub, great service really interesting and different cocktails. I tried a few my favourite was the Belfast coffee. My friend got one called Golden moments which I tried some of and I plan to order next time . The oysters were delicious! It is quite loud with the noise of people chatting with dim lighting so may not suit people with hearing difficulties. This isnt intended as a criticism most pubs are loud of course but just something I want to flag to others.
