We love the atmosphere at BD's! The food selection is great! We are never disappointed. We also like the drink selection and try something new each time we go.

We made a reservation so we had a table ready, but it was so busy we were not able to get to the front for a little bit to let them know we were there. It was graduation day so I expected it to be busy. Even with it busy though food was great, wait was long. Ordered 2 appetizers, someone grabbed our before the waitress was able to and she didn't tell us until we asked. We told here not to worry about it as we were almost done anyhow. She cancelled one and brought the other and we were still charged for it. We ate it so I understand why we were charged but we didn't even get it till we had to go containers. Someone at our table had to go and get silverware for us to eat. We asked for more tortilla shells as we had a large table (11 people) and had to ask 4 times before we were able to get more, with more rice. She was good about getting refills though. They also ran out of stuff from the salad bar a couple times because of how busy it was and most of our table were not able to even use the salad bar. The last thing I would say is that I made a reservation a week a before there were people there before us and were sat before us. That would have been fine but even though I seen plenty of open setting they put us right where everyone was standing to get food and stand in line to have their food made. It was so load at times right there we had a hard time hearing each other. If this wasn't the place my daughter wanted to eat at for graduation I probably would have tried going somewhere else. I will say the food was really good and the cooks were fun.

it was not busy the employees seemed to be more interested in talking with one another than working There was empty containers in the food bar and the salad items were old My daughter said it is usually very good so we were disappointed

Our server was great. We had a peanut allergy in our group and he walked us through the process for using the secondary grill. He was really friendly and even agreed to taking a photo of our whole family for us.

I have eaten at other bd's Mongolian Grill locations in the past and the experiences were enjoyable. When we entered the Auburn Hills restaurant after coming from Oakland University's fall graduation ceremony we were greeted and promptly seated by the friendly staff. The server took our drink orders and said we could help ourselves to the food buffet. Both the salad bar and vegetable buffet were a little messy - the containers were filled enough but the areas around them needed cleaned. There were not many sauce cups available. One person in our party did not understand to put the sauces/spices in the cup and poured it on the contents of the bowl. The cook seemed annoyed that he did that and said the food does not cook the same. We suggest there should be a sign stating that. The restaurant was somewhat busy but not filled, and we waited in line quite a while to have our food cooked. There were 2 cooks at the griddle and one seemed to be new. We saw him burn his hand more than once, at which time we blew on the burn then returned to cooking without washing his hands. He also handled plates after this. He appeared to be trying to do a good job but seemed flustered. Another employee tried to relieve him but he said he was fine. I think if more experienced cooks were working at the griddle that night then we would not have had to wait so long. One person in our party did not get his food cooked with the rest of us and had to wait even longer while the cooks cleaned the entire griddle before cooking again. One suggestion I have would be to add more vegetarian and vegan protein options to the vegetable table and salad bar - like beans, chickpeas, etc. The only additional protein options for those who do not eat meat were tofu and vegan chicken nuggets, which cannot be eaten by those with soy allergies. Also, our drinks were delivered and sat on our table unattended for at least 20 minutes and that bothered us as people walked by and could have tampered with them.
