First time to B&l, his second , we sent the fries back as they were cold when they came out, onion rings also on the cool side but stuck with them. Overall is ok but I like food to come out hot so as this was an issue on our meals I’m not sure I’d race back, there are a good number of options in the area which I’d try first before going back

Over priced when you have to pay for your sides on top of the main meal price.

Food was overall pleasant, but prices have been hyped up enormously since a visit about 5 or 6 months ago. Music far too loud, I was in a restaurant not a nightclub! Service good, attentive but too fast... was out of there in one and a half hours which was too quick and rushed for the money. Won’t be going back...

Unfortunately, was not impressed with my visit. Food was overpriced and portions were not as expected. Tables were way too close together. Friends of staff came to the bar and were nearly sitting on top of us. Staff were very friendly though.

Good food quality
Nice place and kind staff
However the portions might need to be reviewed as too expensive compared to what is offered

Meal spoilt by loud work group that took over half the restaurant, couldn’t hear ourselves talk, pity because food and service was good

Overall I’d give our night out at Beef and Lobster 7/10. The waiter we met upon arrival was very nice and friendly and so we had a good first impression.
The menu was good and not over priced. The decor in the restaurant was good and the atmosphere was fun too.
I would say that the waitress we had could have been a little friendlier. I know she was busy but a little more attention wouldn’t have gone astray. My steak was a little over cooked but still nice.
I had made mention of the fact that it was my husband’s birthday and a little candle or happy birthday written on his dessert would be nice but this didn’t happen. Dessert however was delicious.
Overall a nice evening out and I would recommend to a friend.

We had a very average meal here for a birthday last week. I had been for lunch about a year ago and thought it was a nice spot. This experience was very poor and the service was quite bad. We asked for bread, a dessert menu, a cocktail menu - all of which were forgotten, the waiter also never told us about any specials. There was no beef and lobster dish on the menu which was a change from when I was there previously, it used to be the speciality. Main course including sides used to be 22 euro, now sides are extra and there is no way you would call it a dish without them. Overall just not up to scratch
given the amount of fantastic restaurants in Dublin now.

Some of the best steak and lobster in dublin so by far the best surf and turf in dublin. Was surprised at the variety of brunch options too, with a great mix of seafood and breakfast mixed options. Also always great service

Lovely meal and drinks and the waiting on staff were brilliant. Lady on the front door, showing people to the tables was very rude and unpleasant, other than that we really enjoyed our experience

The food is overpriced for the average quality you get. The steaks were ok, but my sons was very undercooked. The shrimp tasted like they were frozen and then just heated up with some butter. The lobster was split and grilled without seasoning or butter, so it was dry and bland. They charge 1.50 pp for plain water. Very average meal I could have purchased at SuperValu and prepared at home cost 140 euros and they tried to add another 14 euros discretionary tip. We were looking for a special dinner, but it missed the mark.

That was a second time being there.. Seen new menu with more options so we tought to give it a go...we choose this place to celebrate family occasion as all of us are fans of good steak and seafood.. Food was delicious very nicely presented.. None of the main courses come with any sides at all so everything cost extra wich really bumbs up the price of the meal... Biggest shock came when we got the bill.. No-one mention and it's not said on the menu about 10% service chardge.. Customer Should know about this coming to eat...

Beef wellington was good value.
We ordered starter but main course came before it did so had to cancel starter. As this was a screw up from the restaurant side charging us for extra pepper corn sauce was a bit harsh. Being quite the foodie myself and forgetting our starters I felt they could've done more for us as we had cocktails to start and wine so spent a good bit.

Food was excellent. Service was a bit of a let down, the menu was not explained properly. No mention of €2 supplement for sweet potatoe fries with the €65 deal.

My sol was out of date, the waitress kindly changed it for a glasss of wine which I was not charged for.

Ordered desserts and waited 15 minutes for 3 scoops of ice cream. It was 10.45 when we got our desserts.

Door to the kitchen was open during the time we were there, at 10.45 we could see the floor staff going in and out picking at staff food.

Simple service changes would make this place 5 star.

Lobster and beef both pre cooked, and we're okay but not really good. Do not order the bread and spread starter....not good. Music was too loud and and more appropriate for a dance club than dining.

Overall an ok experience. Main issue was small portion size...especailly the dessert....some crumbs and a bit of cream in a fish bowl is not a cheese cake.
Food was tasty, staff were prompt and friendly.
Imo the lunch menu looked better than the dinner one.

While I did enjoy my overall experience here, I think it needs to be said that I was underwhelmed by the steak - I had ordered it medium-rare and what I got was beyond well-done, same was the case with my girlfriend's. While the staff were more than happy to take it back and swap it for another, what we got as a replacement was closer to raw. Now, the second time around was considerably nicer, it still was not what we had asked for. I had expected a steak that would be up there with the best, and what I got was disappointing. The lobster, on the other hand, was delicious. Also, our drinks order took over 10 minutes to arrive. I do look forward visiting again as I am confident we just got some bad luck, but first impressions were a letdown.
