So what’s our story? We wanted to bring the finest BBQ to Dublin, and to open up a place that was like nothing else in Ireland. Sitting right on Wellington Quay, in the heart of Dublin, Bison is a slice of BBQ heaven.     Booked table 3 weeks in advance for 3 people, ended up siting in the pub area at the tiny table that barely fitted our plates with food. We literally had to squeeze it in to fit. Waitresses were all over the place, one was bringing cutlery and sauces, another would take them away.. then bring back again. Overall not a very nice experience for a food so I don’t think I will be back again.

    Staff were very friendly, attentive and nice. The room was cold, people wearing jackets, particularly when closest to the window. Brisket came out and was cold. Sausage remained hot. Beer was good.

    Place is ok, but nothing too special. I got the half rack and fries, was plenty of food in that but not great value for money. Ribs were a little dry as someone mentioned before. My wife had the brisket burger with onion rings, smallest burger we ever got, smaller than a McDonald’s burger.. obviously tastier but it amounted to a pretty expensive beef sandwich. Wouldn’t be rushing back.

    What a mistake ! How can this establishment still have positive reviews? Don't be fooled. The service is pitiful. The ribs (the specialties!) were dry, overcooked. The sausages as hard as wood, inedible (reheated following the refusal of previous customers?).

    Great staff, two very friendly girls looked after us . For the casual dining experience we found it to be overpriced for what we had. Americans would laugh at the size of the full rack for over 32 euro!

    Was ok. Wouldn't rush back, expected more for the price paid. Ribs were on the tougher side. Brisket was nice. Burger bun burned to a crisp, and burger was dry. Far better BBQ places around at this price point. Wait staff were attentive and pleasant.

    The service was of very high high standard. Lovely spacious area. Seats were very comfy and in general the ambience was great. I ordered pulled pork which was good. My son ordered brisket which I thought had more flavour. Would recommend for casual drinks simple meal . The waitress went above and beyond to make the overall experience amazing.

    Great meal at the Bison BBQ. We went on a Monday night so was pretty quiet but great service from the waiting staff and amazing food, we went all out and had ribs, chicken wings, tacos (these were really good), mac n cheese, coleslaw and beans. Everything came out at the same time, was hot and tasty. Also the margaritas were amazing! Staff attentive enough and the whole experience was great, would highly recommend if you are looking for a tasty meaty meal in Dublin.

    They let me book and when I turned up it was closed when I asked in work man’s they said they close on a bank holiday Monday . I had a table booked for 8 people and we all traveled into town for it

    Restaurant area closed despite having a booking to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Extremely disappointed as no notice was given prior to arriving and having dined here previously I was embarrassed after having recommended Bison Bar. Staff were initially helpful however while sitting eating our meal in the empty bar area, they were sitting on the laptop opposite us, this did not make for a comfortable dining experience. Food was average and meat tasted like it wasn’t fresh.

    Food was 10/10. Great selection, not a huge menu but just enough. Everything was so fresh and very very tasty. Price wise, wasn't too bad considering your in the middle of dublin city. The only downfall for me was that there was no children's menu but that's minor and didn't effect our overall experience. We had the chicken wings, bacon cheese burger, beef brisket and pulled pork. It was all delicious. Definitely will return again to try some of the other dishes

    We hadn't been to Bison for about 4 years, but I'm delighted to say that the food was as good as I remember. The service was lovely, and we had a great seat for people watching. Had a lovely evening, and it set us up for the rest of our plans that night

    The food is always amazing at bison. I would definitely recommend to anyone who visits Ireland to go here and try the ribs.

    Everything was really delicious. We had a variety of stuff between the four of us, highlights were the brisket, beef sausage, chicken wings, and the mac & cheese with pulled pork. Will definitely be heading back next time I’m in Dublin!
