   Lovely venue, great buzz about the place. Staff very friendly and helpful. However food was a bit disappointing, a bit stodgy and some dishes eg chips, were cold.

   Food was fabulous as always. Everyone was super friendly but felt rushed by waitress constantly trying to clear our plates once we set our forks down. I had just finished my dessert and the waitress reached over me and grabbed my plate without saying a word. I understand sometimes needing to clear tables but felt like it hindered the experience a bit. Still 5/5 though will be back again :)

   Absolutely lovely atmosphere. Staff very friendly. They were in no rush to get us out. Great wine list. Lots of menu choices and options re tapas. We had a great night. We were seated in the outdoor area which is so pretty. Food excellent. Highly recommend it

   I was very surprised at the lack of attention to detail I experienced. I have been here quite a few times now and usually I don't have any complaints. Typically a very pleasant experience, So I was completly taken back by the underwhelming professionalism experienced. To begin, I rang twice and sent a message via social media (as advised in the phone message when I called) I needed to make a change to my booking, I left my contact details both times and nobody returned my call to confirm the changes. I eventually called into the restaurant to advise of the changes to the booking and requested Birthday Balloons to be on the table for our arrival. On arrival, the table had not been set for the correct amount of people, nor were the birthday balloons at the table as requested. The new manager arrived over, and introduced himself to us all. We had the wrong food brought to our table twice, and 3 tapas were late and had to be requested a few times. Waiting & Kitchen Staff seemed to be very confused and asked a number of times what dishes we were missing. When we requested our bill and it took a long time to get it, when we did eventually get it, it included the dish that was never ordered. I could understand a drop in the level of service had it been busy, but we booked an early seating time 6pm and it was quiet and only got busier as we were leaving. On a more positive note, considering our table was originally booked for the upstairs gallery, when requested they did accomodate the fact we had a buggy and re-arranged our seating to be more accessible. We also asked for the left over food to be boxed up to takeaway, which they kindly did for us. I'm hoping this was just an off day for them, the food here can not be faulted, drinks were all fabulous, but to experience this low level of customer service was such a shame.

   Booked our reservation online for my sisters birthdays a day in advance which was confirmed online and by email, arrived at the restaurant to be left waiting for fifteen minutes to then be approached and told the restaurant is actually not open and that they “saw there was one reservation” but forgot to ring and tell us that they weren’t open to the public at this time, they were having a wine tasting and said we were welcome to join however we couldn’t drink, there was no effort to rebook us in, give us a discoun/voucher, bottle of wine anything that could of made it up to us as we got all ready and excited to try this restaurant which we both heard had good reviews, overall it felt as if the staff weren’t apologetic but more so embarrassed that it happened, mistakes happen which is understandable it was just the way it was handled which we found very unprofessional and disappointing, all I wanted was to treat my sister to a nice evening for her 30th and even if I was phoned half an hour before the booking and told that there has been a mistake at least we could of made arrangements elsewhere rather than showing up on time and waiting for fifteen minutes while some staff saw us but didn’t approach until one lady came out when she saw us, the fact there wasn’t even a mention of booking us in for another night is inexcusable.

   Great food and ambience. Disappointed that our table for 7 wasn't ready, despite requesting it for a birthday lunch. I also mentioned that we needed to be seated promptly as we had to leave by 1.45pm. The server wasn't aware of our reservation or request. I would give the benefit of the doubt because I've eaten there several times and this didn't happen on previous occasions. Then again, I hadn't made any requests with previous reservations.

   This is my second time dining at Bodega. The staff are very good and extremely busy, getting a table here can be difficult. I think the food is "fine" but very overpriced for what is quite basic food. Five prawns in the (dry) prawns pil-pil for 11 euro! 18 euro for antipasti which, while tasty, is by no means overly generous. I do like the ambiance but the food is over-priced for tapas.

    They told us that we couldn’t order tapas after handing in the tapas menu and getting our order for drinks! Only lunch menu available 🙁 @2.40pm… which was a bit disappointing… wasn’t expecting it in a tapas place !!! food was very nice though and price was fair. Caesar salad is unreal, probably one of the best we have tried. Service could be a bit better, place was empty and still took a good few minutes to tidy up our plates… dessert menu wasn’t told and the waitress didn’t even know what they had… she had to go check first… didn’t offer to order another drink… 😅 We will be back for the tapas in the evening!!

    This is my third time at Bodega and have never been disappointed, actually feel it has tasted better each time. Waitress was very efficient and friendly, food was quick and piping hot. Cocktails were delish as were the glasses of wine. We had our own little private booth as there was 7 of us, but we didn't feel left out. Waiter/waitresses and owner constantly checking in on us. Lovely ambiance with the piano player too. As it was my birthday I felt very spoilt with a dessert and cocktail on the house, a lovely gesture so will definitely be back. Great place for a girls night out or an occasion.

    Visited bodega with friends Friday night. Iv been to bodega many times and it's always a lovely experience. It was my friends first time and they enjoyed every minute if it. Paul went out of his way to welcome us, the staff were so friendly and helpful as always. The food was fabulous and the cocktails a real treat with many to choose from. The piano is a lovely touch. It's a very special place as it is different to anyware else in town. Looking forward to our next visit Shirley

    From start to finish a fabulous evening shared with old friends. Food was delicious although we were a little disappointed with the temperature of the 3 different fries options - they could have been hotter but the rest of the sides and tapas more than made up for them. We were so we'll looked after by the staff, attentive without being annoying. I've already booked a return visit and can't wait. Keep up the great work 👍 👏 a great addition to Clonmel

    Reallyive Bodega. Have been twice in a short period of time. Food lovely, beautiful decor, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Only reason I have not given the 5 stars..is the menu was same on both visits.. but thats only negative because I dont eat fish or goats cheese which makes my choices a little more limited.

    Love this restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely, food great and wines good. Attentive, helpful and friendly staff. This was our fourth visit. We were a party of 6 including 1 vegetarian and all of us enjoyed our choice of food. Will definitely be back.

    Food was incredible. Staff were very poor. We were missing some of our order but no staff member even came down to us or asked was everything okay or even said “enjoy”. When it came to clearling plates we were asked did we want dessert to which the answer was yes the female who only cleared two plates from the table said she’s be right back with the menus but didn’t return. About 20 minutes later another woman came down to clear the rest of the table and then gave us the dessert menu. Before this a male staff member had cleared and set the whole table beside us instead of checking on the customers in-house. Staff definitely need to be thought a lesson in customer service as this is a turn off. But I have to say 10/10 to the chefs as the food was exceptional. Just a shame about the service. Hope this feedback is helpful.

    Couldn’t recommend more. The staff were so nice, the lady at front of house us was so friendly. The decor was lovely and the food 10/10. Only tiniest thing to note is we found it quite noisy and warm but it didn’t impinge on the dinner.

    Lovely family birthday dinner, we were in the quiet section at the end this time so out of the swing of live music etc. but good to have the option for this table too. Food was delicious. Wine and cocktails also! Staff very pleasant and helpful. As we were out of the main flow some orders were slower but the owner came to us at end of night to speak to us which was nice.     Not my cup of tea. Food arrived at random times (first tapas 3 min after order, last one 15 min later) with plates being removed as soon as they were cleared. Didn't know what to make of it. Food ok. Totally overpriced in my opinion. Dining finished after 45 min. Not the relaxed dining experience I expected.

    A fantastic asset to Clonmel to have such an amazing tapas restaurant. From food to wine to cocktails, everything was sublime. All the staff were wonderful and much gratitude to Orla for making us feel so welcome. Looking forward to our next visit.

    Lovely Atmosphere, Piano Music in background a nice touch. Gallery seating was great. Food was very tasty. One side dish Curry Cauliflower was not to the same standard as the other dishes but that may be personal to us. As a taps wine bar it was really nice. The prices were somewhat inflated based. But would not turn us off going back. the wine list was good but could do with some more descriptions of the wines to help make a good selection. The staff were extremely polite and well informed on the menu etc.
