    Excellent food and good service. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the uncomfortable seat - it's either chairs too high or table too low.

    The food was lovely! Steak done just as we like it. It was just really disappointing that one waitress kept forgetting to bring sparkling water and she did it with many other tables. We heard others complain about it too. The staff overall was pleasant and I loved the diversity too. Good to see this in Irish hospitality. The toilet was really clean which is also a very good sign of care of the establishment.

    It is absolutely flawless from the moment you walk in. It is very welcoming, and the food is exceptional. I had the rump steak cooked to my liking and would totally recommend it. you won't be disappointed. I promise

    Brilliant food, value for money excellent. Catered for a larger table of 8 people and everything was cooked perfectly, arrived in a timely manner. All the staff were friendly and accommodating.

    Food and service very good. I met with two of my friends visiting from Romania and they were very impressed with the food. The steak we ordered was at medium temperature and was exactly how we wanted. Side dishes very good also, the mushroom saute and the potatoes gratin excellent.

    Lovely night out in town. Service, food and drinks where very good We went with the sharing platter so you get try all four cuts of beef and they were all very well cooked and delicious Would highly recommend

    Lively, bustling little restaurant. Good quality steaks. Very good value but the compulsory service charge added to the bill is a pet hate of mine. When I get good food and service it is always reflected in a tip

    We ordered the 17oz Boeuf tasting plate for two - medium. When the waiter dropped the food to the table he didn't tell us which cut was which. The table beside of our ordered the same thing a short few moments later and their food was dropped down to their table and each cut was fully explained by a different waiter. The meat was well-done. Not medium. Not only was it well done but it was dry. One positive note about our experience was the truffle and black pepper mash. This was really tasty ! Really disappointed with Boeuf overall.

    Very disappointing experience on Saturday. I had booked a table for 6 for a family occasion, when we arrived at 7pm our table wasn’t ready so we had to stand out on the footpath while they moved the previous party off our table and got it ready. Our food came out in dribs and drabs, steaks came out but no sides for at least 5 mins, some people had their food others were still waiting for quite a while. The service felt very rushed and I was very disappointed that we were asked to leave the table after less than 2 hours because they needed it back. We were seated late and we were a party of 6 having food, wine, coffees; the whole experience felt very rushed and I was disappointed. Won’t be returning

    Had a booking for 6 absolutely lovely from entering to leaving the service from all the staff was very good .The food was beautiful will definitely return and would highly recommend anyone to visit this restaurant thankyou for a lovely meal .

    Staff are completely incompetent- 1.25 hours wait for a burger which arrived burnt. Not to mention the waiting staff, first instance he arrived with a bottle of wine , we hadn’t ordered, he then gave us coke which fizz was gone as was sat probably 30 minutes before arriving with us. This was my second bad experience here, I brought my staff previously , and the food was bad, recently I was told was the best burger in Dublin , a complete overstatement, I would consider the quality on par with something I would eat in Burger King. Shall I give it a third chance - not a chance, I am surprised it’s hard to get a booking at this restaurant as I wouldn’t consider myself a great cook however with the meals I was served oneself could definitely prepare better.

    Steak and sides were nice. Banoffee pie was basically a glass of cream, with a small amount of banana and biscuit at the bottom. Couldn’t relax and enjoy our wine, when we finished our desserts we were told they needed the table, so we had to sit outside the entrance of the restaurant to finish our drinks.

    Unfortunately I didn’t have a nice experience at Boeuf. I had a booking for 8:30 for myself and my partner. It was a special occasion. This was not my first time at this restaurant however it was my first bad experience there. The food was delicious however I had some issues with the service. Firstly we felt it was very hard to get the attention of any waiter throughout our meal. Considering it is a small restaurant that shouldn’t me an issue. Our own waiter who took our order seemed to go off and do some orders which is normal however I believe someone forgot to take on our table in his absence. I’m general, Staff seemed more interested in bringing in orders, doing bins, being on their phones ect… than keeping an eye on their customers. We were in the restaurant over 30 mins before being served a drink. Our starter was never put through so after a further long wait our chicken wings arrived out alongside our steak which wasn’t ideal. The food as I said, tasty and delicious however potions are small. When we wanted the bill it was clear the staff were preoccupied with having everything ready for the closing of the restaurant that nigh. They left our table and another beside us for a very long time with dirty plates, no offer for dessert, no drink refills. Staff were standing in the middle of the floor on mobile phones, no looking up to see I was looking for their attention. To be honest I was totally disappointed with how I was treated as a customer here. The food was delicious but our evening was ruined by all these minor incidents adding up as our evening went on. I never don’t leave a tip and on this occasion I waited for me 40 cents change… which also took a very long time!!

    My wife asked if she could change her chips for a salad which we were told was fine. When it came out it had chips, but mine didn’t have anything. No problem we said I’ll have her chips and we awaited the salad. It didn’t come so I asked another waiter and he said I’ll sort it out. Then came out another portion of chips? I asked why we didn’t have the salad and was told we shouldn’t have been told that we could and the waitress was new and didn’t realise they couldn’t swap and if we wanted salad would have to pay for it. I told him we didn’t want the chips, but he said we’d ordered them so might as well eat them!!! He said he’ll check with the manager. When the bill came out I said I’m not paying for the chips and would like to speak to the manager. He told me the manager wasn’t working tonight. I paid less a portion of chips and would never return, the food was Ok but nothing special and definitely not worth the money. My recommendation would be to book somewhere else.

    Hi. I brought two of my close friends in to have a birthday celebration meal. I told them great things about the restaurant since we have been going there for a long time. Unfortunately the meal was not to the usual expectations. Two Of the Stakes where overdone, Hard, one of the Stakes was underdone and tasteless.

    We ate at Boeuf last Friday night and I have to say it was a great experience. There is a strong focus on service, staff couldn't be more helpful and are very attentive. The food itself is excellent and very good value. Atmosphere is cool also, we sat in the outside covered section. It's a cosy restaurant with a lively buzz. Really enjoyed the steak and sides, desert was lovely and the drinks menu is very good! Hats off to the manager who is a great guy and very courteous. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we'll certainly be back again. Well done!

    Simply fantastic! We had the sharing plate for 2 which was amazing. The wife had the pesto sauce and I had the brandy peppercorn which were both super tasty. The selection of sides is excellent, don’t be fooled by the size they are filling!

    Lovely little resturant just off the main street. Waiting on staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with our children and their dietary requirements. My wife and I had the steak tasting plate, it was excellent with 4 good sized steaks full of flavour and cooked exactly as we would like it. Camembert potato gratin was superb. We will be returning next time we are in Dublin.

    The place is nice, the meat was okay but too cooked (asked for medium-rare and got medium). Also, I'd expect the waiters to explain to the older customers that they shouldn't order well-done steaks (which they didn't, and those came out very dry and not so good)

    My husband and I had the steak tasting for two. It was delicious and cooked medium-rare just like we ordered. For sides we had buttered broccoli (which was nicely cooked) and garlic and Camembert potatoes au gratin, absolutely delicious.

    The food was good. Our starters were nice and the steaks were tasty. However, I will never be be spending my money here again and will not allow a restaurant to rip me off like this place. We ordered cocktails to begin, and we had to double check to see if we were looking at the Non-alcoholic menu. The drinks tasted like juice. When the waiter collected a full cocktail from our table, there were no questions as to why it hadn’t been drunk. A vodka and coke was then ordered. Same situation. The drink was premixed, and tasted as if there was a dribble of vodka at most. The waiter did not seem surprised when we asked if there was definitely alcohol in this. We understand that the going for dinner does not revolve around drinking. however,if we are going to spend are money, we don’t expect to get ripped off. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to dine at this restaurant.
