    The staff are so generous and kind. They asked the chef to prepare an item that’s off menu, something they didn’t have to do but we’re so happy they did that. We just asked if they make a specific dish and even though they said it’s not available on the menu they were kind enough to put in a special request for the chef.

    Took 30 minutes to get our first and only drink. Took 45 minutes for our entrees and mains to come out together. Then we were rushed to order desert so they could get a second service in. The food however was sublime. True authentic Thai, full of flavour. Girls upstairs simply need to sort out a system and service will improve.

    Boonchoou is probably the best thai place in Melbourne. Their Bua Loi is an amazing dessert that explodes in flavours. It is extremely hard to get a good Pad Thai here but they nail it, not too sweet, noodles cooked just right and enough chicken and not just noodles. The only feedback I would say was that we felt rushed as we only received 1.5 hours for our booking and the food took very long to come out. And the grilled meat was very small portion. Would def return for the pad thai and dessert.

    The food was phenomenal and my cocktail was delicious! The service was a little slow at times, but they were lovely when we did interact with them. We sat downstairs, it was fairly noisy and the cold air coming in from the door was a bit chilly each time the door opened — just something to note if you get cold to sit upstairs perhaps. Would definitely come back to try some of the rest of the menu!
