Located in a fully restored protected structure in Galway’s trendy West End, BóTOWN serves a wide selection of craft burgers and beers across two floors in a really chilled, cosy and charming setting. BóTOWN is the home of craft burgers and beers but the restaurant has so much more to offer, including a wide selection of craft ciders, wines, hot drinks and milkshakes. Attention to detail is key and no stone was left unturned in the pursuit of the finest local produce available. BóTOWN’s 7oz beef patties are 100% Irish and sourced from one of Ireland’s most distinguished producers, award-winning Gilligan’s Farm. Their soft brioche buns are freshly baked every day in Coghlan’s Artisan Bakery in Naas, Co. Kildare. As well as beef, there are chicken and vegetarian/vegan burgers, a variety of side dishes such as chicken wings, halloumi stick and Mac n Cheese. Gluten-free options are also available.

    Very good burger joint. Several different options, good food at a good price and very attentive staff. On a very busy night, we were happy to have such an attentive staff on-time reservation!

    Incredible! delicous burger that was perfectfully seared. The gluten free bun held together better than any GF bun i've ever had. The burger construction was perfect. Fries were delicious 10/10 would go again!

    Great place for a meal with friends or family. Food was very good. Pricing quite reasonable. Staff polite and accommodating. Seating areas are ok. Atmosphere was nice enough.

    Food was so good we didn’t take any photos which for us is usually. Owner and staff were amazing to put it mildly. I’m a coeliac and am nervous eating out but no nervous here and can’t wait to return, there was so many options available and the owner reassured me that separate utilities etc are used. I’ve eaten here before but this time was definitely the best of my visits. Thank you to the amazing team and keep up the great work.

    Good burgers, great fries. Seems to be a really popular takeout place. Didn’t really need a reservation - you can mostly walk in - but there is limited seating.

    We were seated upstairs and there was a terrible draft up there. It was cold with the door open. Drinks took a while to get to us but food took slightly over 1 hour. They apologised and said they’d sort something with the bill. Which they didn’t and it was easier to leave than make a fuss. The chips were definitely reheated at least once some of them were really hard. Burgers were good. Chicken wings weren’t hot just medium temperature. I understand they were down chefs in the kitchen. However prehaps they should have stopped the Deliveroo orders in preference to seated diners, or maybe shouldn’t have seated so many at the same time. Let the kitchen catch up.

    Food great as always and staff were very friendly. Only scoring down because it took near an hour to be served our meal. The staff seemed under pressure and could definitely have benefitted from an extra set of hands or two.

    We got there late right when they were closing, but they accommodated us. I don’t know what they put in their chili on their sloppy-Bo fries, but it is amazing.

    Food was really tasty. Good portions but we ate the lot (and I am fussy)! The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was quite busy but they sure we had everything and checked on us regularly.
