First and foremost our server was fantastic! One of the best personalities ever. GLENDA deserves recognition. The food was very good. Rib and flat bread muffuletta appetizer were very good. The charbroiled oysters were very disappointing. Bbq shrimp and grits was very good, hamburger was very good. The debris sandwich was disappointing as was the crawfish pasta. Overall a nice experience and I would recommend it. Prices are fair…but GLENDA made the difference!

I had a great time with my friends however trying to get a table where I wanted to sit with another thing, Lots of tables but couldn’t sit at the table I wanted to, they were more about accommodating their servers rather than their clientele. And the server we did get , The first words that came out of his mouth were , thanks I was ready to go home… wow

The food was so good. When we were sat at our table we waited about 15-20 mins prior to anyone coming to the table. When our server arrived at the table he let us know that he just arrived & didn’t even know someone had been sat in his area. We ordered appetizers and it took quite a bit to get them and they were cold. We had to ask for bread a few times. Once our waiter got “settled” our food & drinks came out timely. Again the food was great and drinks delicious. Better communication between staff needs to happen. We will be back.

Bourbon House is very clean and bright. Service is attentive and the food is very good. As a bonus, you have free entertainment: you can watch the crazies and sleazies pass by on Bourbon Street while you eat.

We got there on time for our reservation but were seated 30 mins later. Our server never rang in our drinks so we didn’t get drinks until an hour past the start of our reservation. The food tasted great though!

Selected this restaurant since it was attacked to our hotel and I was looking forward to having authentic creole cuisine. Our waitress was great but I was not impressed with our order. I had the gumbo which was a small portion and it wasn’t a lot of meat and it was luke warm. The drinks were good and our waitress was sweet when we expressed our dissatisfaction.

I got the seafood platter. It was fine, but nothing particularly unique or special. I can't speak for the rest of the menu- maybe their other stuff is terrific- but I at least don't recommend coming here for anything fried if you have limited time in nola. Service was good, drinks were good, ambience is pretty decent, and overall it wasn't a negative experience, but I'd rather have tried somewhere else if I could do the evening over again.

Out of oysters roasted or on half shell. No bbq shrimp on menu . Or steamed shrimp. Took forever to get cocktails. Combo fried seafood late Luke warm. However crawfish appetizer and pan seared red fish were delicious . Overall was disappointing compared to prior meals over the years

As soon as we sat down we were told that there were no raw oysters, only grilled. The waiter never took a drink order. Just gave us water. The service was slow. The oysters were good but we won’t go back.

Our dining experience at La Boca will be a story we share with our family and friends. The large selection of Argentinian wine and specialty cocktails was nice. The hearts of palm salad was unique and delicious. And the filet…Wow! The atmosphere was welcoming and our waiter could not have provided any better service! Highly recommend!

Waitress had attitude like she didn’t want to be there. Very abrupt and didn’t listen. The raw oysters were great but the entrees were not. The shrimp on the combo platter (grilled) were mealy. Overall a very unpleasant experience. I have dining here for 20 years and it has always been a favorite spot. Probably won’t come back.

1st reservation is a must here UNLESS you get lucky and are able to snag a spot at the bar. The oysters were huge and delish - Menu is not too big but prefer that. Cocktails are wonderful here Bourbon list is huge. We visit BH every time we are in NOLA.

Birthday dinner with my wife and 3 friends. Nice drink selection and we each enjoyed our entrees. Gulf fish on the half shell with wine and butter sauce was delicious. Two friends had fried shrimp plate and found that to be enjoyable. Shrimp and grits had a buttery sauce and not a barbecue shrimp style sauce but was also really good. Fresh cookies and bourbon milk punch for dessert. Cookies hit the spot!! Nice staff and nice atmosphere.

My striped bass entree was superb although I could have eaten more than the two little potatoes and two forkfuls of frisbee that accompanied the fish. Service was just passable and they were not busy.

The food was good and the service was good considering the number of folks at the restaurant. The Bourdon Milkshake was wonderful and I don't like bourbon. The food came fairly timely and all was good until it came time to get the check. The person I was with is not allowed to have alcohol on their work check. This person asked nicely for the waiter to split it out and he said NO, we don't do that after 5:00 pm. She asked if she could take the check to someone else since he was busy and he rolled his eyes at her and made a comment that wasn't the nicest. We were very nice and said we understood but he wasn't happy with us after that and ignored us until we left. Other than that -- it's a good place to eat. Just don't ask to do anything but split the check in 1/2.

We had a really nice experience. We are allergic to seafood, so it is hard to not be able to enjoy it. Our server April was a pleasure. This was not my first time and I will be back again. Thank you.
