Set in the 'Garden Village' at Tankardstown, Brabazon Restaurant has become a true destination for diners and lives long in the memory of all who visit.
Head Chef Johnny Sarkozi and his team offer a culinary experience based on seasonality and local produce; some of which is derived from the estates own kitchen garden and polytunnels.
Casual lunch can be enjoyed Friday through Sunday, and fine evening dining can be experienced through a choice of tasting menus, Wednesday through Sunday. Afternoon Tea is also served Wednesday to Friday.
Guests can dine on the terrace in Summer when the weather permitted, in the intimate surrounds, beside the open fire during the winter months or in the new Morris Suite.
With recent accolades including 2AA Rosettes and RAI’s Best Hotel Restaurant in Meath and Best Chef in Meath, Brabazon Restaurant offers diners a feast for the eyes and the palate.

    Enjoy this time-honoured tradition Wednesday - Friday, served in the beautiful surrounds of the Morris Suite at Brabazon Restaurant. Our traditional Afternoon Tea stand features a delightful assortment of scrumptious sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and an array of irresistible bakes and cakes. Served with a selection of freshly brewed teas, both classic and exotic, to satisfy your palate. For a truly special occasion, we recommend adding a glass of refreshing Prosecco or Deutz Champagne. Please be aware the minimum advance reservation time for Afternoon Tea is 24h and the menu is not suitable for vegan, diabetic or coeliac.

    A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours on a cold Sunday afternoon. Staff made us feel so welcome. You would've thought they were truly glad to see us. The food was outstanding and extremely well presented.

    I loved Brabazon Restaurant from the moment we walked in. A gorgeous atmosphere with a cosy fire lit. The staff were so friendly and welcoming… and the food!! We ordered the €70 tasting menu and it was incredible. The portions were perfect size.. the food was so delicate but so tasty, we honestly enjoyed every mouthful!! The wine was paired with each dish which was great to explore new wines (Finca is our new favourite white 🤗). The staff were so helpful throughout, giving background on each dish and wine. If you’re looking for a special treat, this is where you need to be.. we’ll certainly be back!! Highly recommend

    Experience was good with comfortable surrounds and efficient service. The facility offered a pleasant atmosphere but did not provide facilities for a pre-lunch drink other than table service, this was a little disappointing. Food experience was good with beef offered and provided to personal taste. Vegetables were somewhat scarce for two but what was provided was presented well and cooked perfectly. The temperature of the food was acceptable but marginal which detracted from the quality of the experience. The cost was overall expensive for that provided but is obviously a reflection of the market or footfall. Certainly would recommend the Brabazon but with a cost caution to a friend.

    We had the 7 course tasting with the wine pairing. The food was absolutely delicious and a lovely treat. The wine pairing was great and staff amazing. Really couldn't fault them or the food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very tastfully done, however I found it lacked atmosphere or there was just something missing. In saying that I have a table booked to return so maybr it was just a quieter night....

    This restaurant has the wow factor. We had the 7 course tasting menu and every dish was outstanding and beautifully presented. The staff were polite and discreet. Great value for what you get.

    Wonderful treat for a special occasion. Good food, (wine pairing was excellent and a very passionate and knowledgeable sommelier), good service, beautiful room. Nothing to disappoint and very enjoyable.

    Beautiful restaurant.We were a party of 5 yesterday and all really enjoyed our lunch. From my starter of liver pate, my main of sirloin stake to my desert, all were excellent. Could not complain about any aspect of our visit.Will be back soon.

    Very good from start to finish,staff excellent and knowledgeable about food and wine on offer,Only two menus on either 5 or 7course tasting menus and wine pairings for both a little pricey but don’t mind paying for good food,really have upped there food offerings,but probably need to have an a la carte option.

    Had a fantastic meal in Tankardstown. The staff were excellent and food was divine. We chose the 7 course tasting menu and cleaned every plate. Delicious selection and enjoyed every morsel.

    Delightful restaurant with excellent food. Helpful service, a little noisy, space could do with more soft furnishings to soften the sound. We had lunch and on a sunny day, it is a light filled space perfect for a daytime meal

    Beautiful place, staff excellent vary attentive. Food excellent. My only complaint is that we had Sunday lunch and my husband had pork . It was tiny with 1 small sliver of potato no veg I had to share my meal with him
