    After choosing our wine and ordering our appetizer, the Escargot', we chose our entrees. I ordered the Poulet Cordon Bleu which was served on a bed of pureed potatoes with roasted carrots and brussels sprouts and my husband chose the Coquilles St Jacques with a side of fresh green beans. They were thoughtfully prepared and presented beautifully by an excellent staff! The mustard sauce on the chicken was delicious as was the entire entree. The Escargot' just keeps getting better every time, even though I didn't think there was any room for improvement. The sauce for the generous serving of the scallops was very flavorful without overpowering the dish. We love Bramble and Brine at the Buttery because they make every dining experience a special occasion.

    We enjoyed a beautiful evening for dinner on the front patio. David was excellent and helped us choose between the red snapper and rib eye steak - we ended up with both! Excellent choices.

    The weight staff was excellent. Good wine pairing recommendations. While my scallop entrée had good flavor, the serving was small. My spouse’s Wahoo fish dish was bland. The peanut butter pie was quite tasty.

    I had to ask waiter what the special was, and he offered no explanation other than Rockfish. I ordered scallops and for $44, I felt it was more of an appetizer size, including the dish it was served on (half the size of La Fable). Others ordered from the bar menu and they seemed okay with lobster roll and crab cake sandwiches. We did like the bar atmosphere, but felt if you are going to offer fine dining prices, then the server should reflect the same standard.

    We had a very nice evening out on the front porch - nice breeze and better people watching. David, as always, was attentive and made great recommendations. We had the cheddar biscuits (of course) fresh catch (Wahoo!!) and the beet burrata. No room for dessert but would have made room for a lemon posset.

    Good food but not really sure if it was worth the price. Service was fair. Never was told about specials. Server seemed to be not very interested in us. The ambience was quite quaint & homey. Not sure we will go back.
