I have chosen the perfect time and place for my birthday celebration. We came with my 3 yo child. We requested a quit spot next to the window and we're fully satisfied with a seat. The service was great, perfect food, everyone was paying attention to our needs and questions.I would like to thank chef for his food and the way all dishes were served! I loved everything about this place. At the end we were offered complimentary birthday Flourless chocolate cake! What a pleasure was to be The Brasserie Provence! I would visit more myself, will take my friends and will definitely recommend for visiting to all gourmets!

What a fantastic restaurant! We travelled from Michigan for the Kentucky Derby, and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. The food was outstanding, as was the service. This is truly one of the best dining experiences I have had, anywhere in the world.

What a wonderful dining experience! Everyone from the hostess to the foodserver, the owner and the bartender made us feel like welcomed family returning from a long absence. (No one there knew me but I was made to feel at home.) The restaurant was full but service didn't suffer except for a bit of a wait on our first round of cocktails. Otherwise everything ran smoothly. Food was expertly cooked . Drinks were imaginative and tasty. Highly recommend the French onion soup.

Brasserie Provence always delivers a great dining experience. We always start with the excellent calamari and the Provencale olives. My wife and her sister had the chateubriand, a classic, and I opted for the superlative pork chop accompanied by the gratin Dauphinois and the ratatouille--just outstanding. Desserts were most enjoyable and the service from long-time server Tom made the meal flow smoothly. We are very fortunate to have this fine French brasserie in Louisville

We have always had incredible food and service here but I think we came on an off-night. It took quite a while for our waitress to come to our table and she was clearly over-worked but she was very friendly. I think she was also the bartender, perhaps that was why she was so tied up. After we finally ordered and received our meal (we didn’t have an extended wait for the food, it was as usual) we were happy with our choices but my husband was disappointed that his burger was cold. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great but was cold. He suspects that it was ready before my chicken and cooled off while waiting. There were other patrons seated around us who had undercooked food and they were told that there was someone new working in the kitchen. Most likely the cooking issue will work out with time and experience. I’d have to honestly say that for the first time I was disappointed in my evening at Brasserie Provence but would give them another chance because my previous visits have been incredible.

Appalled that we were seated in the bar area. Brought my elderly mother with plans for a fine brunch experience. Food was fine but having to sit in the bar area really was unacceptable and no adjustments made to accommodate a better seating. Will make sure I let everyone know about this experience.

The corner both where you were seated is actually requested by many of our guests as it is private and out of the way of the main dining room. This is a close-by favorite restaurant, as the food is tremendous with a wonderful atmosphere. I had the pork chop which as always was perfect, and I would recommend this to anybody. We visited the restaurant on a Saturday night, and it was reasonably busy. It took quite a while for the kitchen to get caught up and for us to order our meal and then for it to be brought to the table. I am thinking in time that it was at least 90 minutes from when we were seated in the restaurant to when we got our meal. This is somewhat unusual for this restaurant which normally has great service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody to visit for dinner.

Provence never disappoints. It is my go to restaurant when I have out of town guests. Wonderful food, and the quiet surroundings make conversation possible. (Return guests are always pleased when I take them back to Provence)

Provence is such a delightful restaurant! Of course the food is what we go for, it’s wonderful to also have ambience and service that is also superb. We missed the French onion soup last time we were there, so we came back and ordered it this time, it never disappoints. The foie gras was very smooth, and the Lyonnais salad is perfect in all of its components, and our server, Shirley, was a gem! Always our go-to ‘special occasion’ restaurant!

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. There was a mishap with my dinner entree and the server and manager were very apologetic and genuine. They replaced my dinner without a problem and they were happy to do so. Overall, we enjoyed the evening and we will be back!

Very nice place to dine. The service (Shirley) was wonderful. She was always smiling and constantly met our needs even though she was busy with other guest. The food exceeded my expectations as was the same feeling of my guests. The place is has the French flair and was clean. The Maitre D could have been a little more pleasant. Otherwise a very nice please to done.

We original came for dinner because of the Bouillabaisse special. We’re we’re not disappointed by the food, which is alway fantastic. The evening was made even better by our server, Tom who went way above. Will we be back, yes. but only if we can have Tom as our server.
