   We have been there a few times for the Sunday brunch and service was great, however when we went there this past time for my husband's birthday (which (I put on the reservation) it wasn't that special. We arrived; hostess seemed a little scattered. We asked to sit outside, she hesitated and then led us outside. She asked us if we were ready to order we said yes and then she said ok..let me get your server. Then she came to table and said, " I just read on your reservation it is your birthday?" I said yes my husbands. She said are you staying with us? We said no, we are local. She said oh ok....awkward silence...then she said well happy birthday. Absolutely nothing special in terms of presentation etc. Server shows and looked disheveled. Took our order. Food was ok. The breakfast scramble came with tortillas which was fine but no salsa? Seemed odd. Server must have been new which is all I will comment on. Wasn't the best experience based on prior experiences, which was sad considering this time was a special occassion.

   My hamburger was overdone. I requested medium rare but there wasn't a spot of pink anywhere to be seen. The draft beer selection was not as large as I would have expected given the name of the restaurant.

   Very disappointed with Brix & Ale. Came to celebrate a birthday at 12:30 on Sunday. Had a reservation but waited for 20 minutes to be seated and waited another 20 minutes to make drink orders. We were handed a brunch menu with about 10 items and was told it was the only menu. Service was aweful. The server didn’t offer second mimosas or bring refills except for iced tea. Eggs were over cooked. Won’t go back which is sad because Valentines Day was lovely.

   We made reservations for a valentine's dinner with limited seating. Arrived at the restaurant on time and were seated right away. The waiter acknowledged us after a few minutes but did not return to take an order for 15 more. When he did take our order, we told him what drinks, appetizer, and entrées we would like, at which point he informed us that 3 of the 5 entrées were not available. He suggested the special entrée, to which we agreed. After a while, our originally requested appetizer showed up along with an unrequested one, which prompted confusion from us. The waiter admitted the mistake and removed it from the bill. The rest of the evening was fairly uneventful as far as the restaurant. Overall, slow service on a seemingly well planned, well staffed, limited seating evening. Biggest disappointment was multiple unavailable meals which were not specialty or rare foods, just steaks. Overall, 2/5 for this outing and I would not return or suggest friends to go.

   Got my card overcharged twice for one visit, called spoke with a manager Alejandro who said he will take care of it and reach back out, never heard from him again, called again he is not available

    Our waiter was lovely and very attentive. There was nobody there so it was quiet. Small menu. Restaurant is in the hotel. Just underwhelmed - the pictures looked much nicer than what it actually was.

    I made reservations for my good friends birthday. We started with the Brussels sprout appetizer which was delightful. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and I ordered the crab cakes. Man!! Both meals were amazing. A plus was the lattes… very creamy and robust! The affordable price point is acceptable because the quality was fantastic. I will be back with my hubby.

    Brunch was very good. My wife had the Georgetown scramble and I had the chicken and waffles. Wife's scramble plate was very good. My waffles needed to be a bit crisper on the outside, but the overall taste was good.

    The Atmos was great, but the food was really disappointing. I ordered the quail and the Mac and cheese was obviously from the Kraft box with some bacon thrown in.

    Brix used to be a nice little restaurant. But it has really gone downhill. The prices are very high. $20 for a burger. $20 for two tacos. Under entrees they only had a single non handheld entree under $45. It would be okay if the quality matched the pricing. But the beef in the $20 tacos was tough as leather. My $14 Texas tini, which is their take on a Mexican martini, was terrible. They also only seemed to have a single server for the entire restaurant. I understand staffing is hard right now but there was a bartender doing nothing and three people at the host stand. It took 30 minutes before we were able to even give our drink order and when we were ready to go I had to literally physically walk to they kitchen to get the server so I could pay. This level of service is simply inexcusable at this price level.

    Pricing didn't match the information provided. This was our first time we had visited this property. They advertised in a local magazine happy hour with half off appetizers. We called ahead and checked the details with the Hotel. They confirmed half-off appetizers and discounts on drinks. Upon being seated, yes half of the appetizers at this restaurant, but happy hour not here on drinks but at a small bar in another part of the Hotel. no true happy hour on appetizers and bar at one location in Hotel.

    Above average for hotel restaurant. Avocado toast as a starter was great - pickled onions and radishes were a great compliment to the traditional flavors. Chicken and waffles could use a little sprucing up - frozen chicken tenders and waffles that felt like they were from the continental breakfast, but the honey butter was tasty. Scrambler could use a better presentation but was a decent portion of a standard breakfast plate.

    What a great place to go for Valentines dinner. It was a set menu which made it easy. Overall the food was very good. The steak on one of the dishes was a little undercooked for me. The chefs dessert prepared in front of us was amazing!

    I loved how quiet it was due to it being fairly empty. We were shocked that the menu did not match what was available online. It was significantly cut in half. Our server was amazing but the food was a bit over priced for what you received. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The host welcomes us right away so all and all it was a good experience.

    We were given a meal time at 4:30pm, which was after they quit serving Thanksgiving Brunch (which ended at 4:00pm) and before they went back to serving the regular menu at 5:00. So, only a few things were available to choose from.

    Although the restaurant was not using their outdoor area the night of our visit for dinning, they still seated us on the patio when we asked. Our waiter was extremely helpful and patient specially with my 92 years old mother-in-law. The menu was not extensive which is what I like. More importantly our meal was very well prepared. I will go there again and will not hesitate to recommend it.

    Came early to have a drink on the outdoor patio - there was no service out there so we ordered drinks at the bar and self-served. Prices were on the high side - $15/glass of champagne. Then, the hostess came and told us we could NOT sit in the area we chose because it was reserved for someone. We moved to the next table and when the party arrived they received service but we were ignored. When we went in for our 7pm reservation there were only two other parties seated in what looked like a cafeteria. We took a look at the limited and high priced menu and decided to skip it.

    We have never had a hotel restaurant have such great food. I wish I had taken a picture of our food. Our daughter had the shrimp tacos, my husband had the pork dish, and I had the stuffed chicken. All were very good. The crispy brussel sprouts served with the stuffed chicken were amazing. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the fried pickle appetizer. We all thought they were chips but they were spears. Not a big deal, but we prefer the pickle chips.
