Food was great, the service was friendly, but the service was very slow. We were 4, we did not order any special order - 2 pizzas a salad and chicken - and it took about 35 minutes for our order to be serve - and only after I mention we were still waiting - customer who arrived after us were served before us. It was frustrated but the food was nice a bit pricy but nice.

I always had a good experience here before, but this time I'm a bit disappointed. My pasta dish was tasteless and the pasta was way over cooked (Pasta Primavera) . Only reason I gave more than 1 star is the dessert, it was lovely as always. Service was a bit slow even the restaurant was nearly empty.

Before we sat down to eat I overheard one customer say to her family how sh*t her food was. I didn't think anything of it until I got my lasagne. My lasagne contained one fork full of meat, no pasta and was all sauce and massive amounts of cheese. We were sitting at least 20 minutes before we were offered a drink. The drinks took 10 minutes to get to the table which would have been fine if the restaurant was busy but there were more staff than customers at the time. The water we were given was so warm that it was undrinkable. The table across from us was vacated by a large family and was washed down but all the crumbs were left all over the floor with a dustpan left beside it for over an hour. We left before it was swept up so I don't know how long more the dirt was there. I was so shocked at this dirt that I had to take a picture. We were never offered a second drink. We were never asked if we were OK at any stage during dinner. We couldn't even finish the food. We had to call someone over when we could actually see one of the many staff members bother to show their head from behind the counter just so we could get the bill and leave. To be honest, we could have got up and left without fixing up the bill and I bet nobody would have even noticed. I can honestly say that I will never be back again and I will definitely not be recommending Brooklyn Ardkeen to anyone.

Staff seemed inexperienced but enthusiastic and very pleasant. Food was good overall... some things were lovely and some only ok. Deserts were lovely. The restaurent is very pleasant and clean. A nice place for a relaxed lunch. We will be back.

A lovely Italian restaurant. I have eaten at both Tramore and Ardkeen branch's and I have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend it for a get together. Great range of dishes from seafood to meat to piazza. You will see me again.

Very poor. Was not impressed. Had to stand and wait for 10 minutes for our prebooked table to be ready. The initial greeter made us feel like we were a burden from the outset. Took almost an hour to receive our starters. Which weren't great. The service was very poor. No cutlery on the table. Had to go and get our own cutlery for the main course. Not enough napkins as some of us had chicken wings for starters. The main course was quite prompt in delivery but one of the pasta dishes was cold and had to be returned to the kitchen. The fish was overcooked. The burger greasy. At this stage, we were starved and hangry. Anything we asked of the servers took 2 reminders to get. They were full when we arrived and I get the impression the kitchen and servers could not cope. I was disappointed having been here before and having a lovely meal and attentive staff.

Haven now eaten here four times I feel that Brooklyn is just not consistent enough for me. Two great experiences and two mediocre ones. Last Saturday was just OK. The restaurant was not too busy but a few parties going on for young teens. Plenty of young staff that were very pleasant and helpful . The menu is wide but while the lasagne was tasty the fries were bad. Presentation was OK, my partner had the special that also was just OK. I feel I won't be back, unless I want a quick meal, a little better than a fast food outlet or have young folks to feed. The pittza looked OK and was popular with many.

When we arrived at your restaurant we were greeted by your server who was welcoming and seated us quickly. The order was taken and drinks arrived quickly. My sister's pizza looked yummy and tasted better, she said. I enjoyed my pasta primavera but the shrimps were more boiled than sauteed . My sister did not enjoy her fish dish at all . It was like frozen fish and the batter was soggy, she said. Dessert was enjoyable by 1 sister , only. I was in Tramore earlier this year and we went to your restaurant twice a week . It was excellent there so thought it would be great to treat my sisters here in Waterford. Service slipped when the original waiter left for the night( or I think he left) I hope it was a bad night after a busy weekend !!
