   Food was excellent! We ordered 6-7 dishes. Our server and all the staff extremely welcoming and competent! I wish I could remember his name but our waiter was just awesome. Very pleased we stopped here.

   The waiter was pretty snotty, openly insulting me. I gave him a 30% tip and the insults continued. The food was okay at best. Hopefully I won’t have a reason to come back!

   Very sub-par food, high noise level, and small portions for high prices. Cocktail was not good either. We left to finish dinner at another restaurant after ordering three tapas style plates. Extremely unimpressed.

   Our first time here. We had four in our party & stopped for dinner before walking to City Winery for a show. The service provided by the host station was excellent. The tapas we ordered were very tasty though the servings seemed a touch on the small side. Our server was great. He was knowledgeable, very personable + always appeared at the right time. We’ll return to Buena Vida soon.

   Buena Vida's ambience is lovely. We didn't realize the menu would be limited to brunch thus all of the items we had planned to share had to be thrown out the window. I guess I'll have to return to try those oxtail tacos! I had the short-rib hash bowls - amazing! Service was professionally coordinated by Sabrina and time from order to table was expedient. One shortcoming of the location was that the noise literally bounces off the walls. We were a party of 10 and there was only another party of four and a party of eight. I might as well have sat at the party of eight table as I could clearly hear their entire conversation which quite frankly, they were not at all extremely loud. I can only imagine what it's like at full capacity. Oh, and show the plants in the first room on the left some love with some water please.

   Beautiful place, Great menu, Delicious Food, yummy drinks, friendly staff, service so fast I was shooked. Will definitely go back. Dog friendly and 2 hr free parking. It's just by the belt line and Ponce city market.

   I would recommend this restaurant! Loved everything about it from the food options and food taste to the service to the partially validated parking to the colors and vibes of the restaurant. Only negative was flies! Quite a bit of fly activity due to the open doors. But I will return!

    Went for brunch on a Sunday. Food was good but we were sat in a separate room from the main dining/bar area. The music was excessively loud and totally killed the vibe of the rest of the restaurant. I love loud music when the time is right, but we struggled to hear each other talk and definitely struggled to hear our server. If we go back I'll make sure to specifically request outside or the main dining area. Food made up for the seating experience, but it still killed the mood of the meal a bit.

    Found this place on open table and it was a refreshing surprise. First off, the ambiance in the place was rejuvenating because when you need that good meal, music, atmosphere and energy and a place can provide all of those things, it’s a vibe. Next the waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and ensured she explained everything straight to our taste buds. Lastly the food came right on time one tapa after the next as if our table was timed to bring the next tapa right as you finished the last. Overall it was a great experience, hopefully my experience helps you to creat one of your own. Very delicious!

    The food and service never disappoint. Everyone is friendly. We showed up a few minutes early on a Saturday night and had to wait a little while at the door. The owner/manager on duty approached us and apologized for the wait. They took care of a round of drinks for the wait. That is exceptional hospitality!! Thank you!! Our server was excellent as well. The Brussels sprouts are amazing!!

    Hicimos reserva pero la mesa no estaba lista. La atención en el desk front regular. Pero el mesero un amor de persona. La comida está súper rica y vale mucho la pena. El brownie y la tortilla de papá están okay no son tan recomendables. Benedict eggs y steak and eggs 100% recomendado.

    I feel like this is one of those spots where you’re really paying for the scenery. The French toast was overly soggy and the waffles tasted okay. The grits and potatoes also were just okay. They also only serve mimosas by the singles, which are not very strong at all. Also the water and mimosas came to the table room temperature. I also made a reservation and still ended up waiting. Great scenery though!

    The food is always good, our waitress was a pleasure, attentive, and fun! A great brunch spot! I wish they still had their bottomless mimosas but our waitress helped us find a way around.

    We had an 8:15 reservation it took us over 30 minutes to be seated. Then we were seated outside in a isolated area with terrible scenery. When asked if we could move to the other outdoor seating — we were told there was no available seating but there were several tables available. Felt as if we were being segregated and so we left.

    Our server was awesome. Very knowledgeable and willing to give suggestions on the menu. The food and drinks were delicious. Some of our favorites were the mushroom croquetas, mojo steak and adobo mahi mahi! Would definitely return.

    The menu really doesn’t have many options. The portions are very small. I really wish it looked more like the pictures on social media. But the portions are extremely small. It was only 3 of us and the server included a $18 tip for her self. Music was definitely not Spanish. And was hoping to get a different crowd a more friendly staff. Overall. I wouldn’t come back.

    The brunch was excellent. I had the fig and goat cheese salad and a side of fruit, which was a perfectly large portion size. The only negative was that it was noisy and hard to have a conversation with my daughter. Great place to people watch!

    I’ve visited Buena Vida on numerous occasions prior to the friends get together! The food is always hitting! I love it! We loved it! Everyone ate, conversation flowed and we all enjoyed it! It a lovely spot for a date night, girls night prior to hitting the town, friends get to heheh, any type of celebration actually! And it’s right off the belt line! So if you decided to eat there, you can leave and head to the real brewing company or any other local spot on the belt line to enjoy the rest of your night!

    We made reservations for outside, and the patio was wonderful. Although we did not receive any service for the initial 15 minutes, the issue was remedied immediately when management became aware and we were treated to two complementary dishes. The food was definitely worth the wait as everything was delicious. Would highly recommend.

    The best part about this restaurant was the service— top notch! The food was also great. We ordered 6 small plates and only one was not good (imho) and the chef personally came out to apologize and replace with best tasting mussels I ever had! yum!! I really like the outdoor area (for those of us still COVID concerned). The restaurant was clean and not too crowded. We will return.

    Very nice quaint interior with a lively bar. The outside is even better as the scenery is rich with city scapes. If you're there with the live band, thank me later, it really puts the cherry on top of a seductive dining experience.

    Great location off the beltine with a huge patio and open air restaurant. The server was very friendly and the food was outstanding. I tried the short rib, mahi mahi and vegan mushroom croquettes. Everything was fresh, seasoned nicely and the dishes balanced well. I tired the manchengo cheesecake and I didn't know what to expect. It was rich and unlike anything I have had before. The price is a bit high - but the food quality backed the prices up.
