Food was ok- pork belly Benedict more like pork & eggs- not the best- definitely had better- shrimp & grits were good- it’s very loud in there and tables a little too close for Covid times.
Our waiter was fantastic and the appetizer portion was large for the Brussel sprouts.
Great service and great food. I would recommend to a friend.
Special NYE dinner was very nice!
The atmosphere was great, the food was awesome and the bloody Mary’s were amazing - perfect brunch date!!!
Excellent food and service. Taco Fiesta is such a fun event with great food and $5 margaritas
Highly recommend this place for brunch. We can’t wait to try it for dinner. The food was fantastic and the special Bloody Mary was outrageously good!!
Great experience and ambiance, a smidge chilly. The mimosa (cranberry specifically) was amazing! The Benedict was yummy! The Grits with the shrimp (which were yummy) could have been a little less grainy.
What a great experience! We've loved our visits in the past, but the real treat is the tastings! We participated in the bubbles tasting with food pairing and had a great time. We will definitely be back for more tastings in the future!
A great experience with amazing food! Loved the energy of the restaurant and will 100% be back soon.
Service was great. Food was good. Because the building is so fast has to be difficult to heat so it was a little chilly
Overall a nice restaurant Great service and the food was tasty. I wasn’t sure if I was to cut the Avacado toast or pick it up and eat it. The cheddar grits were great I wish there would have been a little more in the cup.
sara was our waitress and she was FABULOUS! she checked in on us frequently but also gave my friend and i space to chat. the manager even came over to greet us and we told him how much we loved the weekly bloody mary and our waitress.
Awesome place. Great food, great service, and a great time. Will come again!
Had a really nice dinner here before a show at HMAC. The three of us shared the baked brie and Brussels sprouts as apps and both were great. We got two of the wagyu burgers and one short ribs for dinner. Everything tasted great. The only ding is that our burgers were a little over done but still good. The cocktails and service were very good as well.
French Toast Bread Pudding Bites are AMAZING!
The food & drinks were delicious. We went for brunch and had wonderful, friendly & attentive servers. Will definitely return.
A very swanky little cafe in the middle of Harrisburg. I enjoyed the brie appetizer. I thought is very creative. I also had the special fried chicken sandwich with french toast. It was a sweet and crunchy celebration of flavor. My husband had the hailbut which he enjoyed. I thought everything was priced fairly. If you went to a larger city like Philly or NYC, you'd be paying way more for this quality of food.
Love these pairings! We have been to two and the food and drinks have been fun and delicious. I appreciated the information we learned about the different beers and the history. I only wish that we were able to drive how long we stayed. We had finished our courses faster than other tables but all tables were served at the same time, instead of when they were ready for the next course. Ended up being there for almost 3 hours and we were expecting to be there about half that time.
But overall, loved it and will be back :)
Attended a beer pairing dinner with prefixed four course menu.. excellent food.. very friendly wait staff.. Hope they have more of these!
The food, service, and experience was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or brunch out.
Our waitress was an absolute delight and very helpful. The food was truly delicious. I had the French toast fried chicken sandwich, a limited time meal. Absolutely worth it! The mimosas were top notch. My friends and I loved it. Needless to say, I think we found our new brunch spot!
Great food! Bloody Mary was fanstasic and the food was perfect! Great service as well. A must visit.
Our server was very cool and knowledgeable about the menu. Best brunch in the Burg!
Brunch today was fabulous as usual. I always enjoy your bloody Mary’s 😁 thank you to your staff for serving well during these unusual times.
My daughter and I enjoyed brunch at 1500. Service was excellent and the menu choices made it difficult to choose. We loved our food!
Brunch at 11:00 am took awhile to come. Crab Cake Eggs Benedict was very good, as were the cornmeal pancakes.
Less good was the California omelet, maybe it had waited a bit too long in the kitchen or couldn't compete with the omelettes I make at home.
I like the place, the ambiance, the photographs on the wall, and the diverse and interesting crowd. I don't like the wait - took over an hour from order to food - not blaming the wait staff - they seemed on top of it (and they checked in often).
There was plenty of outdoor seating, friendly service, and great food.
Food was amazing, service was great!
I just found out about this place 2 months ago and have gone just about every weekend since! The Huevos Rancheros is amazing, and don't even get me started on the bread pudding bites! 10/10 would recommend the big bottom mimosas as well.
Very nice, modern feel to the place with a creative menu.
Excellent food choices and delicious breakfasts had by all in our party. The only downside: very drafty/cold where we were seated.
We went for the four-course restaurant week meal and really enjoyed our evening.
We always love us some Cafe 1500. Great Restaurant Week menu.
Were there for Restaurant Week. First course (tofu and also scallops ceviche) was a little bland for our tastes. Tofu was a little soft. The scallops were tough, almost like a piece of pork. Second course of sausage stuffed banana peppers was also a little bland, but the spice level was nice. Third course of tiger shrimp and grits was very good! The seasoning on the shrimp was perfect and the portion size was pretty large. The grits were rich and good. If you aren't a big eater, you may find the grits to be heavy since it's a fairly large serving. I didn't mind, but the other person didn't finish theirs. Dessert was excellent! Try the chocolate olive oil cake!
Each course was excellent especially the tiger shrimp entree!
Beautiful restaurant visually. Open, airy, and comfortable.
Food presentation was excellent.
Food was delicious.
Wine and cocktails surperb.
Bottle beer only, wish there were drafts available.
Vegetarian options available.
We will return again and again.
Awesome experience! We love the tasting menus with wine pairings events!!
This is a nice restaurant, with good food and great service. I would like to see a return to plants on the tables, specials on the chalkboard, and a complete dinner menu.
The food and service were great! We went on a night when there was live jazz. The music was fantastic and was a positive contribution to the atmosphere!
