Tasty food - generous with drinks and top ups of anything. Menu changed from online for some items. Leave space for the tirimasu soft serve

The food was good, the savouries probably edged it over the cakes for flavour. So good to have a scone and clotted cream. Only real downside was the initial service. After being seated it was a long time to being served any good and was getting to the point where I thought maybe I needed to go and collect from the cafe counter! 2nd cup of tea was from the first pot and was stewed. But, overall, a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

Exceptionally tasty well prepared salads , delicious quiche. Three of us chose different dishes so we could share and optimise the variety. The highlight for me was the tiramisu… Out of this world. A lovely clean café with good service.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Cafe Petiole. It was so fresh and delicious and amazing value for such a high standard of food. The chef knows how to make the most of vegetables and the almond cake and fennel cake with cherry compote is divine. Rosemary our server couldn’t be more helpful and made our experience wonderful. We’ll be back for sure!

This is a charming venue, contributing from being located in Somerset House. It is unique, welcoming, with positive vibes and pastel colours. The fact that only plant based food is served is a huge advantage. This said, as much as food is always delicious, the nutritional profile should be reviewed. The dishes lack plant proteins which hugely contribute towards feeling satiated and of course are basis of a fully nutritious meal.

Food was ok but quite basic - took an age to arrive and service generally was really slow.. Not good value for money - £9 for a small bread roll with a small slice of cheese, small piece of avocado and one slice of sweet pepper!!
