    We had an excellent experience eating at Cafe Roma! The food was delicious and our service was more than excellent. Keisha was our waitress and was knowledgeable and friendly and warm and just lovely. We had our dog with us so we ate in the patio but it was also very attractive. I felt like we were eating in Rome Italy. We had the most delicious cannoli for dessert!

    Outstanding and very authentic Italian food! The most delicious veal marsala and halibut we have ever eaten! Highly recommend Café Roma to anyone looking for excellent Italian food.

    Five of us in Book Club had dinner here last night. Due to Covid concerns, we requested a patio table. The patio is okay but indoors is much nicer (if you haven’t been there). The heater was almost too hot but we still appreciated having it. Our server (I think her name was Roxanne) was personable, efficient, and humorous. We loved her. They have a full bar and we enjoyed tasty cocktails before a delicious dinner. This location is by the SLO train station and has free parking which is a bonus in this town. We were too full to try dessert but we will definitely return and try to save room! (I don’t remember what everyone had but a few dishes were: Veal Marsala, Gnocchi, Bucatini Carbonara, Linguine with clams — all proclaimed delicious.)

    OMG aww found this place looking online and we LOVED it. Such authentic Italian food we can’t believe it! Our server Christine was fabulous, despite being short handed and the food was sublime. We have been to Italy a few times and are total food snobs. LOL. We told our hotel about how good it was as hotel recommended Giuseppe’s - we ate there for lunch today and there is no comparison, truly! We will be back next time we are in town. I had halibut with tomato sauce and husband had veal piccata; started with bruschetta and we get like we were back in Italy! Kudos to the Rizzo family. You hit it out of the park! 👏👏👏👏👏

    Outstanding Italian cuisine at this gem in the historic railroad district. Rich, traditional dishes, wonderful appetizers and salads. Terrific wine list, too. Service is warm and friendly. Had the best Osso Buco I've ever tasted with boldly flavored braising liquid over saffron rice. Wife had shrimp scampi in piccatta sauce that was sublime. Make sure you visit this place just a few blocks from downtown.

    Food was very fresh. Being from NYC and traveling to Italy often it is tough to meet expectations. We enjoyed the meal and ambience. The food was very good just seemed to be missing a bit of flavor. Short rib good. Seafood pasta very good. Carbonara was best dish on the table. The dipping oil was very tasty with the bread. We would definitely go back when in town boating again. Owner was very nice and accommodating.

    We enjoyed our dinner and 1/2 off Wine (every Tuesday!). Our server, Grace, was great. The food was delicious. We’re looking forward to going back soon.
