First visit for us to Campagnola. Had to show proof of vaccination to enter which was a little unusual but ok. Cocktails were good pours as was the wine by the glass. I ordered a basic pasta dish with meatballs. The pasta was good but the sauce was very bland and the meatballs lacked seasoning and were dry. My wife enjoyed the Orecchiette. Service was good and friendly. We enjoyed the piano bar atmosphere as well.
Seth Winston is amazing! Thank you.
The restaurant is awesome!!!! Great service and food!!!!!
The ambiance and service were very good. The food was okay. My wife had chicken piccata that did have much lemon flavor it was just a bland sauce over the chicken and pasta. I had capellini with meatballs. The pasta was good and the pomodoro sauce was good, but the meatballs were a bit tough. We had an arugula salad and arancini for appetizers. They were both good.
food was ok...I had the Lasagna, and the wife had the Bolognese. They were unspectacular. This place on a Friday night was loud. Impossible to have a conversation
Amazing food, service as always and Robert Ray at the piano bar is always such a pleasure. 💗
Food and service was wonderful and relaxed per usual. One of our favorite neighborhood spots!
The food and service were both excellent!
The lasagna is amazing! I can’t wait to return for a second taste.
The restaurant employees were friendly, accommodating, and gracious.
It's my new go to for Italien food. Hoping they'll reconfigure menu a bit. I'm running out of things to try. :)
Bring your covid card or picture of it.
Awful food and service. Will not return. Appetizer was ok. Main course was cold and tasteless.
I live in the neighborhood and I have been going to campagnolo since it opened. I’ve always been satisfied with everything. Tonight definitely fell short In the food department. I ordered the ribeye. It was literally 1/2”thick. About as thin as it could be. It was also grizzly and fatty. It was served with burnt potatoes. It had been a long time since I had been in for dinner because of Covid and was looking forward to it. I chose it for a first date. I have in the past as well because it’s a great place with great food and vibe. Tonight definitely fell way short on the food: the only reason I didn’t call the waiter over after the first bite was because I didn’t want my date to think I was a jerk. After dinner he asked if I was still hungry. I said I was and he said he didn’t think my meal looked good at all. So that’s my input. I’ll be back as it’s a staple in the neighborhood and G and staff are very nice but tonight was a disappointment. And it cost me $110.00 with a $20 tip.
Food was awesome, as always, and service was top-notch!
Would have been helpful to
Know a vaccination card was required
Always a delicious meal. I loved the orecchiette and my husband is a devotee of the lasagna. Service was excellent.
Just wish we'd known we had to have proof of vaccination - not an issue at all - just would have made sure we had cards on us (and now making sure we have pics as well) - fortunately found email records to prove it. All the more enjoyable knowing they have these extra precautions in place!
Not happy about the proof of vaccine/negative Covid test. Yes of course it is up to the business owner and I respect that. Had I known ahead of time I would not have selected this establishment. Please disclose your requirements on Open Table, Yelp, etc.. This will allow customers to make informed choices. Atlanta does not have a mandate policy which may cause confusion for diners upon arrival.
Entrée wasn’t good. It wasn’t what I expected. Préparation of dish wasn’t flavorful. It looked like pet food.
Fantastic food and service. Drinks were perfect and saturday night piano bar is always fun
Sobia made us feel welcomed. Her knowledge of the menu helped us make great entree choices. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was so good!
We went to Campagnolo on our 5th day visiting Atlanta. After a $35 Uber, we arrived only to be greeted by a sign informing us that there would be Absolutly no admittance without proof of vaccine. The three of us are vaccinated, but because there was no notice of this requirement for this restaurant, and because this was our 10th restaurant visit in Atlanta, and no other restaurant we visited had this requirement, we did not even think to bring our cards.
Poor planning on our part, granted. Campagnolo has every right to have this requirement, i respect their decision. But, this restaurant should certainly have put notice on their website, their Google profile, OpenTable profile, anywhere. Even a notice when our reservation was confirmed would have helped.
Instead, there we are, now having to get an Uber ride back to central city. Then stuck trying to find another restaurant at 6:30 on a Thursday evening.
Very disappointed in the inconvenience caused, the extra cost incurred, and the lack of customer care exhibited.
Overall good restaurant, however I am not a fan of their new policies regarding vaccine passports and mask wearing (both which are not really enforced). This tells me the restaurant is more interested in being political than actaully doing any good. My vaccine card was faked (because I already had COVID and don't need the vaccine) and they didn't really check it but just waved me in, in addition I also suffer from other, more serious, medical conditions which were not even asked about. While I do like there food I am not sure I would go back since there are other, more accomodating, restaurants.
Our first time back since the pandemic started and we were pleasantly surprised with a new menu. Fantastic service on an always lovely patio. Back on our neighborhood rotation to try more dishes!
We had to show our vaccine cards to sit inside, Drinks, service and food were fabulous! Always a great dining experience, but last night was just fantastic! First time I’ve heard the piano guy since COVID.
I was so happy seeing them ask for proof of vaccination for entry. More restaurants and businesses need to do this because it make me feel a lot better about being there. It was a very nice evening to be eating out on the patio. I had the duck breast and my other two companions had the rib eye. Everything was great as it always is.
A very lively restaurant, with lots of outside seating. Great for a friendly get-together.
Food was admirable.
Looks like a good neighborhood meeting place...
Had a great experience here! Wait staff was kind and helpful, neighborhood was fun for the evening, and the food/wine were wonderful!!
We had the calamari for an appetizer. The red sauce was very bland. Same with the capellini. I feel like it was missing much needed seasoning and garlic. The vegetarian pasta with cracked pepper was also very bland (other than the overwhelming use of the pepper). My sister had the chicken piccata and did enjoy that a lot. We even had two desserts lacking in flavor.
The menu online is not updated. I was very excited to try a dish only to find it was no longer offered.
Our server was very lovely, however scarce table side.
Great choice for an outdoor brunch before the Hamilton show at the Fox. Nice stroll over to the theater afterwards.
Great food, service, and atmosphere, as always! My go to in Midtown.
Food was good and the drinks were good too. Our waiter was so good and he went out of his way to help us get lasagna! It was excellent!
Everyone enjoyed their meals but waited forever after being sat to get a drink while waiting for my friend’s to arrive! Had to get hostess to call waiter over and then didn’t come around when had finished first drink!
Our server was freaking amazing, food was fantastic and the drinks definitely did not disappoint. So so so good.
Wanted to give this restaurant a good review because we really enjoyed it, but they decided to tell opentable that we didn’t make our reservation when we in fact did. We even confirmed our name and reservation with the host. It’s a shame because outside of that the food and atmosphere was great. Just not too sure why they went out of their way to tell open table we didn’t show up when we did.
Great like always! Keep it up!
My husband and I can’t wait to come back! Our waiter was superb and our chicken piccata and pasta (with fall squash) was out of this world!
It was a Monday so there weren't that many people... BUT... the service was excellent, the ambiance was great, the food was well prepared, flavorful and nicely presented and we had a great experience. We will go back and look forward to trying the other items on their menu
Always a pleasure.
Our meals were delicious.Service was great. Cocktails were awesome.
Pete was an amazing and knowledgeable server, the piano bar was divine, and the food was an experience. So grateful I came x
Delicious food and great service. Also, the live piano is out of this world. Absolutely love this restaurant
