The food here is outstanding. Absolutely delicious and nutritious. I’ve dined here countless times and will most certainly return. Both chefs are very creative. The ingredients are all organic and local. I would highly recommend The Field Kitchen to anyone who appreciates good food. The only downside is that the Irish weather can be too cold to eat outside and the indoor space, while warm, is somewhat lacking atmosphere. However, that in no way retracts from the wonderful food.

What another great find in West Cork, we had a wonderful evening, the food was delicious and all the staff were so friendly and engaging, their enthusiasm for their restaurant was delightful to witness. We didn’t know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by what we found at Camas Farm restaurant, we will definitely be back!!! Thank you, Anne & Grahame

Great food, staff were very good, enjoyed the atmosphere, loved the concept. The entrez were fab, really enjoyed them, I was a little disappointed with the main course but not in the extreme, still enjoyed a delicious dish of beef, veg, salad, and potatoes, just thought it would be a little better that's all. Dessert was okay, not particularly to my taste, I think a little more yogurt would have balanced it better as it was very sweet. Disappointed in the price of a pint, 8 euro! And I was disappointed that the coffee was 4 euro, I even thought it would be free but then again let's be realistic here, for a 5 course dining experience at 50 euro where everything is fresh and the labour is intensive, this is good value I think.

The setting is beautiful and the food was good. I felt that an americano for €4 was expensive. I don’t think I have paid that price for an americano in Cork. Also, the link on the restaurants website to camping, takes you to a campsite which is 2km so if you follow the camping link on the website you will still need to drive to the restaurant.

Camus farm never fails to surprise me! Whether it’s for 2 people or a larger group its one of West Corks best dining experiences. We had a baby shower (group of 10) booked recently and everything from start to finish was exceptional. The staff were extremely helpful from lending a hand with decorations to providing excellent service and overall just being so pleasant. The food was delicious and well worth the price tag. You won’t be disappointed whatever the occasion to go and experience Camus Farm.

I’ve been to Camus Farm Field Kitchen numerous times. It is a unique experience with lovely friendly service and delicious nutritious and tasty food. The food is plentiful and my only criticism this time is that there were too many courses. The extra starter of beef brisket was substantial and probably unnecessary. The chefs Bob and Simon are very creative and the tarragon sauce was heavenly. We chose to eat outdoors this time and the birdsong was delightful on a fine evening. It does get chilly, however so wear lots of layers.

The location is exclusive, and the restaurant facilities are new and modern, but I can still feel the warm farm vibe. For the food, each course was a bit slow but the quality, taste and friendly service compensated for it. My partner is vegetarian and they accommodate that as well. Overall, it was a great experience!

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had dining. The service was poor, the food was incredibly slow and the room was freezing. I was expecting the room to be farm like but it was actually very clinical. We didn’t realise at the time of booking that all courses for all diners would be cooked at the same time so we had to wait until everyone else finished before we could get the next course. I also asked for “congratulations” to be written on a plate (or similar) for dessert as the guest that was joining me was celebrating a special occasion. This did not happen. I was told when I went to pay that they “tried” but didn’t have anything despite the fact I ordered this over 24 hours before. Overall, overpriced and underwhelmed. The food is tasty but it’s so painfully slow that I feel hungry leaving. Do not recommend.

This is real honest food. It is absolutely delicious and there is plenty of it. I can’t think of another restaurant in Ireland where you would get such top quality local ingredients. The standard of cooking from the two chefs Bob and Simon is amazing. The flatbread first course was so light and fluffy and tasty. Each course after that just got better. The comfort and atmosphere is somewhat lacking on a cold evening. The acoustics in the large ‘hall’ make conversation difficult. The large tables and benches mean it is not a place to linger and the stove is lovely but inadequate to heat the large space. However, these downsides would not prevent me from going again. In fact, I look forward to my next visit when I will wear a few layers.

This was a really enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and we did not leave hungry. There is no choice in the menu, which we were happy with but a fussy eater may not be as happy. The setting is lovely but it was a very cold night and the restaurant was a little chilly. The staff were excellent and it was a really enjoyable experience.

Wonderful experience. Such friendly and competent staff. Delicious cocktails to start followed by very tasty food. The vegetarian option was so good. We got to dine outside in the sunshine which added to it all. Such a lovely venue. We camped out which I'd highly recommend. Beautiful views of the ocean and the light from the Galley head to help us home. We'll definitely be back.

This place is so great! We enjoyed it so much. The food was SUPERB, the setting was GLORIOUS! We couldn't decide which course we loved the best. The beet borani with that AMAZING flatbread was so yummy. And the boudin---who knew you could get boudin in Ireland! Keep that on the menu---it's so good! We loved every second of the eve! Thank you guys!!

The venue needed a 'Maitre d' figure to welcome guests and explain the venue and menu. The farm 'hagard' venue needed some maintenance ( I was sitting opposite an empty building with a glassed seethrough area to what looked like a disused storage area. A disappointing menu, poor value for money, lacking evidence of local food provenance, though the beef was excellent and 'saved' the meal. The meal was overpriced considering the quality of most of the food. The young waiting staff did a very good job, however the whole experience reminded me of a well run school 'mini-company' experience ( this extended to the toilets which were clean , yet resembled school toilets, a vase of fresh local wild flowers with framed prints of local beaches, lighthouse etc, would enhance the appearance).

Lovely countryside location and ambient working farm. Very high quality ingredients, much produced on site. Nice concept but price per person is steep when 3/5 courses where small, shared portions. Disappointed with the vegetarian main course misleadingly described as "ravioli" but contained no pasta? Very poor value compared to the beef and potatoes main course. We finished the main hungry but a portion of the homemade bread would have done the trick. The timing of the courses was perfect and the fresh mint tea was very pleasant to finish off the meal. Staff were attentive and hard-working, and clearly love working on the farm.

The food was lovely as were the staff. It would have been better if children were better catered for. To charge €30 for a child who ate hardly anything As there was little on the set menu that children would like was too much. For family sunday lunch it was more expensive than we would spend again. ag

Lovely food and good service in a relaxed and natural setting. Unfortunately insufficient parasols being available on an exceptionally hot day spoilt the experience for us as we were beginning to get heat stroke , the only alternative was to sit in a dark and dingy covered barn area not set up for dining and so tables had to be moved disrupting our meal . I would recommend the food but would prefer to be in the main restaurant in future.

I really liked the 5 course menu and enjoyed it over the course of a few hours without being rushed out of the place 😀 drinks were too good. And of course the weather was stunning that day which adds up to the atmosphere. Thank you team ! We will definitely be back next time we’re in West Cork
