I hadn't been back to Cap's since college, and it's better than I remembered! The cocktails were delicious, the food was great, and the portions were generous. There's a reason it's a Grafton Street institution, here's hoping to many more visits and many more years of Captain America's!

Hadn't been to Captain America's for decades and thought we might be a bit long in the tooth but we were made feel welcome and relaxed. Our waitress, Maria Victoria, was attentive without being intrusive, helpful, friendly and polite. Will definitely be back!

Not impressed at all , I was expecting a bit more flavour from the food and a better service. The chips were over done and flavourless and the burger was bland. I won't be going back. Also lots of small flies around our table , a sign of premises.

Chaotic. Wrong orders delivered to our table, incredibly slow service, mediocre quality food… scruffy toilets. We could see we weren’t the only unhappy customers. We won’t be back.

Food was terrible. Burgers and hot dogs came out stone cold, sent back and replacements were only slightly warmer. Waiting staff were lovely but clearly very busy as we had to ask them to clear dishes and glasses a couple times as they had been sitting empty for some time. Just expected somewhat decent food for the prices .

The restaurant was too warm. The fish fingers were awful and overcooked. The steak was average. The salads looked warm as if they had been sitting out. No soap in gents toilet. No baby changing in gents. Service, payment & staff were perfect.

We arrived at 4.30 not shown to our table just told where it was. 2 broken chairs. Having the table at the toilet door was awful with constant traffic of people. The service was terrible. My son didnt reveinev his drink till almost an hour after getting there the fizzy drinks were so flat when we received them . The food was brought out in 2 halves so only 4 got their mains while the other waited a further 20 mims. 1 of the waitiers were very friendly the others barely answered no interacting at all. All round very disappointed

We had a wonderful night. The food was lovely but the service was very poor in relation to the time we had to wait for our food. People seated after us received their food before us ! We also had to wait for some time for a second round of drinks. I appreciate it was very busy and once our food arrived it was lovely and the lady serving was very apologetic.

Staff were extremely friendly couldn’t fault the staff,our table was situated beside where the food is served and I realised the floor was not cleaned the table was,a lot of food on the floor so I kindly asked for it to be cleaned it was no problem at all,our mains were about 35 mins after our starter was collected which normally I wouldn’t mind but with young kids that were fed and had deserts so was hard to keep them occupied while the adults had there mains and unfortunately we didn’t get desert but overall food was fab and staff were lovely just few delays

I’ve always found CA to be great, however I didn’t enjoy the burger. Found it hard to bite into because it was so thick ( could have been flattened out) so messy & also beef used not great. Wings amazing 🤩 & ribs too.
