Really disappointed in my experience here. Mains came out cold and did not taste very nice, there was way too much pepper on them (both were carbonara). We basically left them untouched, when the waiter asked how it was I was honest and he wasn’t helpful at all. Offered us free deserts but we just wanted to leave by then, when paying he offered us 50% off our next visit? Didn’t make much sense as I won’t be returning.

This was the first time in many visits to Dublin we have used this restaurant. Booking was simple, with lots of comms feedback and reminders. The rabe was ready when we arrived, although it was at the side of the walkway down the centre of the restaurant and directly opposite the bottom of the stairs. The food and service were excellent, and very reasonably priced for Dublin. Highly recommended.

The service was so slow we were an hour waiting on mediocre food and no explanation or apology from the staff would definitely not recommend or return

Lovely place for a meal at any time. All four of us enjoyed our food. Chicken Milanese was very tasty, but a little overcooked and a little dry as a result. Potatoes in Tuna Salad were a little undercooked. NIce house wine and coffee too. Overall a good experience and we will be back again. Good value for money. Staff very hospitable.

We had a fantastic meal here, group of 4 on a Sunday eve. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious and very reasonable

The best value kids meal I have seen in Dublin in a long time. €8 for 3 courses. Food was really good, authentic Italian. Really lovely spot for a family meal.

Over the years always found Carluccio’s to be lovely. This time and the previous time however, the food quality has dropped significantly. Cold and quite ugly plates of food served up. They also had no burrata and were running low on brownies. This was quite early on a Sunday?! Unfortunately won’t be returning and would not recommend.

Second family Christmas dinner here - becoming a tradition. Lovely antipasti starters and mains, atmosphere (upstairs) is lovely and service from staff excellent

Great venue in central Dublin. Very convenient for public transport. Interesting menu and good value. Friendly efficient staff. Our Spanish waiter from Barcelona was lovely (sorry we didn’t get his name). Definitely return.

While our waitress was lovely and friendly, the food was lovely and my request to be seated near accessible toilets was granted, my friend who is blind and who arrived after I did, was treated disrespectfully at the door by another staff member who "greeted" them. I would advise Carluccios to consider including some, or if it is included then improving, disability awareness training when training staff.

Prompt attention was given to all three of us. Excellent service from the floor staff. Good menu with an acceptable variety of choices to satisfy any taste Unfortunately, when we ordered a second bottle of wine, we were told it was sold out. We all enjoyed the experience and will without a doubt rebook when we meet again.

Really disappointed. Booked our birthday lunch. Added it in the notes. 1 hour before the mains came, I had to leave the restaurant for work so only got the starter. My sons waited and it arrived cold. Always had a lovely time before hence the booking but very poor on this occasion

Lovely evening, so glad we booked. So busy and we had early booking.Nice and quick, bit too much air-conditioning was quite cold. Look forward to visiting again.

Service was good. It was a very busy night and the waiter deposited our food after a long wait and disappeared to serve others. My pasta (puttanesca) was dry and not very warm. My friends was not warm and tough. I would normally say something but they were so busy I didn’t (so that’s on me). I’d say it was an off night for the kitchen as I have eaten here before and really enjoyed the food. But this time it was a disappointing meal.

Fabulous as always. We've been to Carluccio's several times and it's our 'go to' place for the best Italian food outside of Italy. We'll definitely be back again soon

Lovely menu, food was great as was the service, the restaurant is a little noisy as tables are very close together so hard to hear your own conversation by times. Overall a nice lunch experience, can’t fault the food, delicious.
