   Have a lovely time in Caterinas. Food was lovely and the staff very friendly. My only complaint was that service was a bit slow, I had to go to the bar to order a drink as we sat for ages without anyone checking if we needed one. The toilets could have been checked more often too. Apart from that we all had a brilliant time and will definitely be back

   5 or 6 items on an already small menu were not available , then when came to ordering even more items were not available. Very disappointing, we were not offered any more drinks with our meal ,we were not offered dessert and the lack of good service compared to previous visits was very poor. Disappointing as we were there for a special birthday celebration and had family that had travelled from London to dine with us. Unlikely we will be back !

    It took an hour to serve our starters of soup and garlic bread and when it did turn up the wheaten bread was nearly like toast it had been sat under the heat lamps for so long. The side salad had been dressed in sweet chilli sauce. My husband and I have been up most of the night with an upset tummy. I will never eat here again. The staff are great but the food is abysmal

    Meal was bland. Starters changed and chose salt n chicken wings which were spicy and too much marinade. Salmon was small, potatoes and veg bland. Waiters were nice but very slow. Overall disappointed compared to previous visits. Would put me off going back again because it was pricey enough for very average food.

    It was a spur of the moment decision to book and go out for a meal and we weren’t disappointed. The food was really good and good value for money. The staff were lovely and friendly and we were not pressured at anytime to move on. The restaurant was quiet and you could barely hear any noise from the noisy bar next door. Overall a great time was had. Looking forward to going again.

    Food OK, not brilliant. Service really slow. Restaurant was too noisy... turn music off and voices would naturally go more quiet. Bill didn't consider deposit paid via Open Table and had to be redone.

    Have eaten here on several occasions and food was always excellent but this time restaurant was way over booked and very little staff. My meal was on eatable. Very poor quality had to send it back. Staff did apologise and said they were under staffed. Not really acceptable.

    First time in this restaurant it was most enjoyable. The waitress that served us was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious good selection of dishes. Waiter was very attentive also had the most pleasant evening.

    4 meals purchased. 3 were up to the usual high standard however my meal (slow cooked hot pot with cheddar crust) was very disappointing as the meat contained a lot of grizzle.

    Very attentive staff and nice atmosphere. Food unfortunately disappointing. Both had caesar salad to start - very poor - mainly just salad leaves and very little flavour. We have both had much better and could make much better at home. Menu says two courses for £24 but in reality that's £27.50 as unless you are on a very strict diet you will need an 'extra' side order each at £3.50 (dishes are just garnished). In fairness the food quality was good. We might give it a go again but probably main course (with the extra sides)

    I specifically for a coke zero for my son, and was brought out a regular coke, i asked for a plain burger with no cheese for my son and they brought out a cheeseburger, my wife got the fillet steak for main (£28 plus extra for side and sauce) and asked for it to be cooked medium, it came out so rare it almost had a pulse. We also had to wait almost an hour on the main too. I dont mind paying over the odds for really good food, but our 2 meals and 1 kids meal came to £85 and the food was average at best. Definitly will not be back

    Excellent front of house manager here with absolutely beautiful food on the menu including vegetarian and vegan options. Daube of beef was excellent as were all the 4 dishes we ordered. Lovely cocktails and wine also. Really nice decor and ambiance in the restaurant.

    Spoiling myself after Christmas & New Year- I booked Caterinas through Open Table last minute. I was greeted at the door by Maitre D' Emmet who along with my server Cormac made me very welcome and looked after me so well - especially as a lone diner. I decided to go straight to main course which was a beautiful pork roast and I ordered vegetables as my side -carrot & parsnip beautifully cooked with onion. A real "dinner". I was not driving on this occasion so I had a glass of wine to accompany my meal. Dessert to follow had to be Christmas Pudding with French custard and ice-cream -beautiful. It's right to treat yourself if you can!
