Food was outstanding. Standouts were the zucchini fritters, chicken sliders, jalapeño corn and meatballs. Service was a bit overbearing. Too anxious to remove plates. Restaurant has gotten shabby. Needs sprucing up.

Great time - we hadn't been here for a little while. Excellent food and service. Probably had too many appetizers because we were only hungry for a few lamb chops. The Ektek dessert was very good - a little weird with phyllo strings and a pistachio-based cream on top but very tasty! We need to get here more often!

Love Cava in all it’s formats including Mezze. The food is delicious and unique as well as fun. Service here is attentive and the staff is welcoming and engaged. Cocktails are a blend of traditional with some creative sparks. I wish the space at this location was bigger and a bit more upscale, putting a bit more distance between tables. We frequent the regular Cavas as well as Melina and Julii.

The margarita came with a very limp leaf of basil; it was not cold enough, but it was tasty. I had the broiled octopus, which was prepared just perfectly; unfortunately I had only four pieces! Although the price was (only) $23, I would have gladly paid more for additional pieces. What can I do to have more the next time we come for dinner. The chicken schnitzel was prepared nicely, with a great crust, but it was TOO sweet -- this coming from a man who was raised in schnitzel land. We are over 70, wear hearing aids (which we turned down), still the noise level was too high -- is that what you want for the younger crowd? We will come back to Cava Mezze in a month or so; please let us know what you could do the provide a better experience. Thanks, Karen Moses

Always a great meal at Cava Mezze! The food is fresh and always spiced just right. Our server, Spiro, was friendly and polite, checking on us at just the right frequency. I’ve never been disappointed at this place. Will be back!

Met a friend for lunch. Server was very attentive. My friend was not very hungry, so we ordered 2 small plates to share. They were delicious! My friend thought so, too! She ordered the same 2 plates to take home to her daughter. Will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.

We had an outdoor meal at Cava Mezze consisting entirely of mezze dishes and some cheese. Every single thing we ordered was excellent, as was the service. We highly recommend it!

Service was great (once again)! I came for a special occasion with friends and enjoyed the lamb. Tried the ekmek for the first time; loved it. It was lightly sweetened by the cream and honey. The crunch of the filo dough paired quite nicely as a textural component along with bits of pistachios. Our server Dave was very attentive, so I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

All of the waitstaff were very welcoming and courteous. The food, as usual, was great! The Greek beers and wines as well as the non-booze special drinks were appreciated. Our family had a great time celebrating a graduation.

We ordered three entrees, one for each person in the party. Food was brought to the table separately, so each person ate alone while the others were waiting for their order. My steak was tough and was luke warm when I received it. Server didn't bring our complimentary bread until we requested it half way through the meal.

The food was excellent but the food was very slow in coming out. We kept hearing that the kitchen was backed up. We have been there many times when it was very crowded and the service never suffered. Our server was very apologetic but one person even ate alone because we were all done!

Easy to get an outdoor resy on a Friday night. Appreciated we could reserve specifically for outdoor seating on OpenTable. A couple of dishes I usually order were really good in Olney but not here- maybe they were too busy. Regardless, would still highly recommend.

The service was not as good as usual. There were a lot of people eating outside and limited amount of staff to serve them and the few tables inside. I would still go back. Their food is delicious!
