   First time eating here after 5 years of not finding the time or the right dining partners. It was worth the wait! It is pricey but everything is so fresh and flavorful that it's worth it.

    We go to Cesarina whenever we can. The service is impeccable. The food is authentic and delicious. The tiramisu is good it is life altering. I love the dishes and decor. Everything they do at Cesarina is delicious and lovely. Highly recommend....and don't skip dessert!

    Atmosphere and service was excellent!!! attention to every detail, design on menu, design on 'to go bags', plates, pitchers, glasses.. Gnocchi with homemade pesto sauce exactly how it should be. Octopus appetizer was delish- crunchy on outside but not chewy inside. Pasta was very tasty - little on salty side. It was six of us at the dinner and everybody went home a little happier than before. Kudos to Cesarina!

    Both times we’ve been here the food and server has been great, but despite having a reservation we’ve always had to wait a long time for the table to be ready (15-40 minutes) and the host/manager is standoffish and cold at the front.

    Ive heard so much about this place & i was so looking forward to dine at Cesarina. I am so disappointed in the dish I’ve had - Carbonara. The sauce had a strange bitter taste, honestly it seemed like it was made with American cheese - i know it was not! Past was done good- al dente- but I would much more prefer traditional take on the dish which is made with linguine, spaghetti, and/or fettuccini… Service was good, and ambiance was nice. Lasagna that one of our friends had was just OK. Tiramisu had a fun presentation & fine taste. I am not certain I would go back, as its overpriced and strangely difficult to get the reservations. I am worried thats San Diego does not understand what good Italian food is.
