    Food was delicious and tasted fresh. We had the ribeye. It was so flavorful and tender. We also had the pan-seared red fish. Super yummy

    We went to Char’s for my husbands birthday and it was fantastic. We had the crab claws for an appetizer and they were some of the best I have ever had. The whole experience from the food to service were top notch. This will definitely be our new date spot.

    Excellent restaurant and it could be the best place to eat in Jackson. The piano player in lounge is a nice added touch and the seafood options are great options for an entree if you don’t want a steak. The only issue is the noice level of the lounge. When crowded, Conversations seem to echo and you can’t hear the piano player I’m sure they will fix it. I’ll be back and am looking forward to my next visit

    We made a reservation a week in advance and were sat in the last table by the kitchen. We were there for a family celebration and the noise was so loud we couldn’t hear each other’s voices. In addition we waited a very long time for our entree. The waiter (very attentive) said they overcooked our meal and hade to remake it.

    Char redeemed themselves the last time we were here. Elizabeth our waitresss was fantastic and she was able to meet all our needs. They ensured our steak was cooked properly and brought us a large dessert to share. We left feeling full.
