   Consistently our favorite spot in Austin—the fries are to die for. Great service. Lobster roll and burger are phenomenal and the staff is always incredibly friendly.

   Loved our meal as per usual. Never change the fries :) our waitress was so kind and quick. Only negative feedback is that first table for two when you walk in behind the hostess stand is a little hard to get in and out of. Just close quarters to the table next to us.

   Year after year we just can't find another spot that beats Clarks in Austin. Oh we've tried all of the others. Yes, that one and that one too. Clarks is perfection in every bite. The vibes are immaculate; the food interesting, fresh and perfectly executed. Hate to write this review because reservations are almost impossible but it's well deserved. The crown jewel of MMH.

   Oysters were perfection. We had the crab cakes, lobster roll, and clam chowder…all delicious. Service was great and cocktails were worth it. I will go back as soon as I can get reservations to try the scallops

   First time. Food was so good except the rosemary frites were way over salted. Cosmo fab so had to have two!! 🤪. The octopus was so yummy, cravable!!! 😋. I’m still craving it! We were on the porch and was super noisy. Ashleigh was super!

   Delicious little seafood spot with a very delectable menu. We had scallops, mussels and clams,shoestring fries, and 1/2 dozen oysters to start. All excellent.

    This was a great experience. The restaurant is very small so you need to be comfortable with sitting close to others. We were lucky as the weather was beautiful and sat outside at the railing. The food is very good. Everything we had was great and drinks were also very tasty. It is pricey but it is good.

    The food was delicious BUT I made a reservation weeks in advance and when I got there, I was told that my table will be ready in approximately 45 min after my 9pm reservation!!!! The man there who I don’t know if he was the managerial the owner, he just went “it’s normal, that’s how it is in restaurants” and I was shocked at this!! I told him that it was definitely not normal ! He blamed the weather 🙄🙄 What I believed is that they booked the table too close in time; I have to say I got there 15 min before 9 pm Fortunately there was a table outside and it wasn’t cold so we got sitted and the waiter (whim was very nice) took our order. I kept checking from time to time the people on the table that we were booked just to see at what time they would leave and they left 15 min before we did!!! So the restaurant DEFINITELY over booked and didn’t care about my reservation. Maybe they don’t prioritize reservations from open table. I don’t think I’ll go there again

    We had the Oak Grilled Spanish Octopus, Crispy Snapper, shells & cheese with lump crab meat and the Red Snapper Ceviche. Everything was fantastic. Can’t wait to come and try some other dishes!

    My 1st time there and everything we had was amazing, the attention to detail was incredible. Service was great and the manager was very helpful, knowledgeable and customer friendly. Our server Rachel was top notch and will definitely be coming back for more, thank you to all the team

    Its my go-to-spot for seafood in Austin. Great mussels, clams, and crabs, fresh fish, and believe it or not, an underappreciated delicious burger. On the pricey side, but some great happy hour specials. Always attentive service. Reservations recommended.

    I have eaten at Clark's many times and every single time the service is excellent and the food is excellent. you can't go wrong with this place. IMO one of the best restaurants in Austin and in the US.

    Our meal was outstanding. I had the redfish on the half shell, which our server did an excellent job of describing. My husband had the baked oysters which he enjoyed as well. We shared a side of cauliflower, and it was excellent. I always forget what a little gem this restaurant is!

    Mom is GF, it’s a bummer that your fries are no longer GF because of cross contamination due to croutons? Is that really worth it? Feels like croutons could be produced without the fryer.
