   The food was wonderful. The Service was exceptionally slow to the point where we had to flag someone to order more drinks more than once and we had to clean and stack our own plates after the meal because there was quite a bit of time between when we finished eating and when someone finally came to clear the table.

   The food was frozen, and they were changed for fresh, which still came out cold and under cooked, the atmosphere was great but the food was awful, the didn’t charge us for the starters because they were frozen, but the mains still were not great(toast was bread, eggs were cold etc)

   The food, when it came, was very nice. The staff were peasant but appeared to be very busy and thus service was slow and inattentive. Irregardless of it’s proximity to Temple Bar where fleecing customers is commonplace, €7.50 for a pint of beer is a rip off, simple as that.

    Terrible duck confit, such an easy dish to prepare, but it was terribly over cooked, dry and tasteless. I told the waitress but wasn’t offered anything. The lighting is harsh and glaring, we all had to adapt our seats so we weren’t blinded. Very disappointing

    Was staying at The Clarence and came here for my last dinner before flying out early the next day. Started with the octopus and then had the chicken entree. Both were nice, the chicken being very good and quite a large portion by European standards. Had a G&T to start and then a glass of white wine. Service was a bit slow but I think they may be dealing with staffing issues like many other places. Nice meal.

    The quality has dropped significantly, the brunch food on weekends is not a restaurant level but some average fast food chain. The service was trying to compensate but it's hard when the quality of food and drinks is so poor. It might be ok value for those who are hangover after a boozy friday night. I won't go back

    Would love to see more brunch items. Pancakes maybe . It was lovely but coriander is in most items we asked for without and they obliged but it was in the salsa. Enjoyed it though

    Came as a party of five got a nice corner table so was spacious. Everything was lovely, food was great excellent quality and good options. Cocktails were lovely. Service could not be faulted.

    We enjoyed the food (although portions are quite small). What put a bit of a damper on the day was the staff kept looking for the table back. We were still eating and having a few drinks, and hadn't been told there was a time limit when we booked. There seemed to be loads of empty tables, but they came back to us several times...in the end we just left.

    Lovely ambiance of the place. Food was delicious however the portion sizes were rather small. After less then two hours we were handed the bill and asked to pay immediately. Maybe the waitress was new, since I felt that behaviour was rather unusual and not very professional.

    Nice staff but we waited 45 minutes for our starters. Table beside us were served much more promptly so our experience mightn’t always be the case. Didn’t enjoy the food. Cod, arancini and chicken were all over cooked and dry. Way too expensive for what it is.
