Great service from Greta. She was fabulous and very helpful. The food was just meh. I would expect better quality food at such a classy resort. I got the chicken wings. Perfect pour on the Guinness tho.

We went for lunch to the Clubhouse. Overall a highly enjoyable experience. Slow service as only one staff member looking after the bar area but this was fine as he delivered excellent customer service and went out of his way to rectify a small situation when we did not ask him to. The food was quite good, although I thought the salad was overpriced for what was received and also a bit sloppy as there was a dressing and the avocado was pureed to a baby food consistency. Both mixed together made it sloppy. Other food ordered was fish and chips and this was very good. I would go back again but not order the salad.

Disappointing. We arrived at 5.45. Service throughout the evening was very slow. We ordered 2 starters (for 4 of us) starter and 2 mains arrived together. It took forever to get a server even though there was 2. Both of whom were very polite. There were times where there were no waiters on the floor for a long time which made it difficult to order further drinks or ask for plates to be cleared. At 8 O clock finally a server arrived and we asked for the desert menu and were told they were no longer serving. It was a birthday meal and was just very disappointing.

Lovely menu, with an excellent choice on the kids menu, very friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and interior. The only negative is that we were waiting an hour for our food. We were the first table to sit and first to order so I'm not sure why it took so very long. Despite this we enjoyed our meal and would still go back.

The clubhouse was buzzing with a prize given ceremony going on. Created an atmosphere it did. We had the fish and chips and it was perfect and reasonably priced. Alcohol prices however are a little steep!

Food delicious. Short staffed so service a bit slow but no problem on a bank holiday weekend for me. Lunch on the terrace with view over golf course and Dublin mountains in the distance. Very relaxing and quiet lunch and it didn't rain.😄

I had booked this restaurant as part of a birthday celebration and dinner at the end of a day out. I was excited to go as I thought it would be a great experience. When we arrived for dinner, there was furniture being delivered and moved in. The team said they were rebuilding the restaurant. When we entered the club house it was clear the room was not set up for evening meal. The three waiting staff were confused when we arrived, despite having booked a table in advance. There was no greeting, no welcome or hello and they genuinely appeared to be confused as to why we were there. When I mentioned we had a booking, they looked at us, practically open mouthed, unsure of what to do. I pointed in the direction of a table, u said we would sit there and perhaps they could bring us menus. I asked where the bathroom was and the staff members answered that they didn't know, so I had to find it myself. When they eventually figured out we were there to have dinner, they brought over the lunch menu. As we were there for an evening meal and I had booked on the basis of the evening menu, I asked to see this menu. We were informed they were only serving the lunch menu that evening. At this point we decided to leave as the menu was not what we booked, the atmosphere was significantly impacted by the commotion of the building of the new restaurant and the absolute lack of service, or even just basic politeness. I was absolutely shocked at the behaviour of the staff and the dishevelled nature of the place. I would not go again, nor recommend

I booked a table in the clubhouse restaurant based on the dinner menu posted on the website. I booked online and the booking was confirmed via email on open table which included a link for the menu, which again was a link yo the website with the dinner menu. When my wife, son and I arrived, we were given the lunch menu which I queried but was told that was now the only menu available in the clubhouse these days, which basically had burgers and sandwiches and a few other bits, but had no steak, chicken, lamb, fish dishes etc., ie. dinners, as per the website. It was very disappointing to say the least for somewhere with such a prestigious reputation. On a positive note, the staff working there were lovely.

We had an amazing experience, the atmosphere was gorgeous and the food was lovely. However the kids menu starter should be served separately with the main course. Overall I would love to recommend this place to my friends.

Worst experience in years. Waited over 20 minutes for our table and then another good while for our order to Be taken, asked the manager to order the dessert and said he’d be right back, he never came back so we just left. Feel bad for the young staff, but the manager was poor.

We had a lovely meal, staff were fantastic and setting was lovely. We booked the table via open table and the menu that it directed us to was a bar menu sandwiches, soup etc, which is what we were looking for. However, when we arrived we were told the menu for Christmas Eve was a 3 course meal. It cost €55 a head and €14.99 for children. We were very surprised and not what we expected. The meal was delicious but we spent a lot more than planned, really the Christmas Eve menu should be the only menu available on the website for those times and dates.
