    Food was amazing! Staff were very considerate and accommodated us while we moved tables. They checked up on us to make sure everything was going well quite often which was appreciated.

    It was our first time in Cork and Coqbull was the most recommended restaurant by friends. We loved it - from the service to the delicious burgers, it was obvious why this place is as recommended and popular as it is.

    Coqbull was top notch once again. One of the waiters who was new, spilt a milkshake on my nephew but it was a complete accident. The manager and staff dealt with it so well. It didn’t affect the experience at all. Burgers were seriously good as per usual. Will definitely be going back soon.

    Overall food was good, sides are on small side though. Mac and cheese a bit disappointing sauce was similar to boiled milk consistency. Starter satay chicken skewers were tasty. Mains were good. Steak requested medium was more rare but tasty and chicken burger was good. Service was great friendly staff.

    Great service, food was ok, staff were lovely but it was so very expensive,,got charged for soft drink that we never had. Burgers don’t come with any chips or salad and a small side dish of chips is €5 and €7.50 for a side salad.. much better value out there.. disappointing all round

    Food needed salt but there was none on the table. Homemade lemonade was fantastic. I thought chicken burger would be ground chicken patty but it was just a chicken breast on a bun. I had to use my friend’s piri piri sauce on my chicken burger because it lacked flavor. Fries were good and coleslaw was great.

    We always have lunch here if we're in town. My two boys who are on the spectrum will only eat here. Food is outstanding and the service is second to none. It can be noisy when it's busy but nothing a chocolate milkshake can't fix for my two.

    Staff were friendly and efficient. We both ordered sirloin steak it was delicious and cooked to perfection, we both agreed it was one of the best steaks we’ve ever eaten! Compliments to the chef!!

    We checked the menu before booking and there was both a vegetarian and a vegan burger option, my daughter is ten and a vegetarian and loves trying the veggie patty offerings everywhere we go, I’m vegan but not pushed and will eat whatever is available to me. We booked for a family dinner based entirely off the fact it could accommodate all of our requirements after originally deciding on son of a bun. When we arrived the menu was different than the one online and we were told by our server it had changed the day before (womp womp 🥲) the server said the vegan burger on the menu was a patty topped with jackfruit, he told me multiple times it was absolutely a patty (daughter is picky and not v adventurous). When our food arrived both mine and my daughters burgers were wrong, mine was missing toppings, hers had extra toppings and it was absolutely not a patty. It was a bun filled with jackfruit bbq chunks. When I told him this he said “well it’s patty shaped” and I said “no it’s not????” And he said “oh well” and wandered off 😂 so I ended up paying over a tenner for an empty bun I had to scrape all the fillings out of and fill with chips For my kid. Our server wasn’t great to be honest, disinterested and when I added a milkshake at the very end of our order he was quite sarcastic in his tone while asking if we were sure now that there was nothing else we needed before he left complete with eye roll. My fathers food and husbands was lovely, they thoroughly enjoyed it. My burger was grand, would have been better with the salad and onions and the jackfruit was a bit too sweet but over all I enjoyed it. The only let downs were our server and the different menu. I would still recommend to friends, you’re not a veggie restaurant, I get it, and everyone else was 11/10 happy.

    We wanted an authentic Irish pub, kind of restaurant, and this was more of a burger joint with not much that’s healthy. The wings were overly saucy although the Asian wings were probably the best. The burgers were lacking in beef and had too many toppings. The salad was overdressed, and the service was just mediocre. Wouldn’t rush back.

    Been here a few times before, first time disappointed, Wings were beautiful, i had rotisserie chicken it was not great, the stuffing that came with it was strangely very hard, the gravy tasted unlike gravy it was more like peppercorn sauce mixed with gravy, my husband ordered the bacon Burger and dirty fries, Burger was perfect, fries weren't good it was just rock hard cheese and heaped with garlic sauce, he didn't eat them, cocktails we ordered were very nice and staff were all lovely and helpful, just the food itself that let it down unfortunately

    I really do enjoy coqbull but I just found the service slow and my burger was not very enjoyable. Deserts were OK Eton mess was more cream than anything else with 3 strawberrys in it.

    We have come to CoqBull a fair amount, and it's become a reliable date night meal after work etc. The staff are always great and the food is good, last night the ambiance was a little off as there was what must have been a manager (male) who was quite loudly directing staff and giving feedback. Nonetheless the rest of the staff were consulate professionals as always.

    Went here loads of times before and the food was excellent. Our meals weren't piping hot this time round, especially the dressed fries, it's like they were left standing for a while. Staff and service excellent as usual.
