    Burgers too small not to have chips included and everywhere else blue cheese dip comes with wings if you want it ridiculous to charge€1.20 for what I got won’t be back

    Great food fantastic staff amazing cocktails but we were very cold everytime the door was opened behind us the noise of the plates being banged and the level of the music being played was also not great

    for our daughters birthday , no acknowledgement or HB greeting despite noting it in the booking . food took forever despite hardly any customers , and asking kids food to come w our appetizer. poor selection at bar, you only had absolute vodka which is as close to well vodka as you can get , the wine tasted like it was watered down , missing items from menu , food wasn't nice, my steak was undercooked and tough . the host is not welcoming , or friendly for that matter , wait staff were lovely. however and I felt very bad for her , it seemed the manager took food due to her tables and made her wait ( I think it was ours ) hence the delay , we saw all this play out in open. and last but not least my husband ordered a pull pork burger , no where on menu does it say you throw a load of ground up hamburger in with that , weird and kind of gross. He has been up all night puking , I hope that's nothing to do with it . we used to love coming every sunday about 7 years ago. it's not the same , we didn't order dessert and just left big dissapointment

    Very good however chips should come with burger instead of having to order them as a side, a bit expensive but still really enjoyed the food and would recommend it ☺️

    So me and my partner come here a lot because we love the food, but last Saturday was definitely the worst experience we’ve had. We ordered food and drinks i ordered a pink gin, a normal gin came i didn’t say anything as i thought maybe she just misheard me. We got our starters within 15 mins that was all good, at this point i ordered another drink. We finished our food they came and took the plate, and i asked if my drink was on the way and they said yes, and at this time my boyfriend ordered a drink. 5 mins later his drink came but mine still hadn’t come after 20 mins, they dropped it down after i asked about it a third time. However, during this our starters had been cleared and we didn’t recieve our mains for another 50 mins, and the server admitted it was her own fault as she hadn’t let the lichen know. We didn’t say anything at the time as we were hungry but not only did the food come after 50 mims, my boyfriend who ordered his burger with no onions and salad, recieved all the topping on his burger. We asked for the bill shortly after, we weren’t given more then a sorry after the whole meal and left havinh paid in full when we shouldn’t have, in our opinion.

    The host was rude and presumptious to both clients and staff. All the other staff were really nice. The appetizers and cocktails were really good. The burgers were a bit dry.

    Nice central restaurant that has high rating. We looked forward to our visit. Restaurant was very busy and had a good atmosphere, staff friendly. We ordered wings to start, three had steaks for main and one had chicken burger. We found wings large, so big portion but texture was slightly mushy, and flavour lacking. Steaks were cooked to our liking and were ok, chicken burger was v good as were the dirty fries. Overall, we came away disappointed, found the food greasy and not much flavour.

    Lunch for three, food and wine. Upstairs. Servers were so attentive and friendly but not intrusive. Atmosphere was just right and food was full on tasty. Perfect for chats, didn't feel under pressure to eat and go, really relaxed into it.

    Went for dinner last night for a birthday, food was very good, cocktails were nice, our server was very helpful and chatty. I’d definitely recommend to a friend. They did get one out of drink orders wrong but it was remedied.

    Arrived early for our booking but we were seated and given a friendly and welcoming service. Such lovely staff. Lovely chilled vibe for a Sunday afternoon. Food was fab also!

    Fabulous food. Have been here a few times and never been disappointed. Only minor gripe was that had to ask for vinegar a couple of times before it was brought out, but that did nothing to spoil a great night.

    It was our first time in Cork and Coqbull was the most recommended restaurant by friends. We loved it - from the service to the delicious burgers, it was obvious why this place is as recommended and popular as it is.

    Coqbull was top notch once again. One of the waiters who was new, spilt a milkshake on my nephew but it was a complete accident. The manager and staff dealt with it so well. It didn’t affect the experience at all. Burgers were seriously good as per usual. Will definitely be going back soon.
