Cornucopia - counter and self service, family run restaurant established in 1986 is located in two Georgian buildings on Dublin 2, Wicklow Street. A modern counter displays handcrafted vegan dishes, including main meals, fresh salads and homemade desserts for you to choose from. Catering for a wide range of diets, it has an extensive gluten free offering. Our head chef Tony Keogh, has a regular slot on TV3 'This Morning' where he demonstrates his talents on creating delicious plant based meals. Food was fab, service was excellent, but having a reserved table on 2nd floor was not ideal. Some of our party had mobility issues and needed help with getting their trays up the stairs.

It was great to have a Vegan option in the centre of Dublin but overall it was disappointing. The main course comes with a side. My sons chose the soup. As it’s buffet style they are served at the same time, so as you are having your soup your dinner is going cold. My dinner was cold before I started! The bottle of white wine wasn’t chilled and arrived late. We carried our trays up the rickety stairs. Not quite the dining experience I was looking for but handy for a quick bite to eat.

Absolutely phenomenal! We ate at a table right by the window on the top level, and no one else was there. It was so lovely and the food was fantastic! Service was great as well!

Food was good. We had a reserved table and it was very tight to other tables. We also did not know we were supposed to go get our food downstairs. Someone should tell people or there should be a little sign on the table.

Great option for vegans ! Was in a nice location and was able to sit outside. It was a self service kind of scene which worked for us. We sat outside as inside was very busy and very hot ! Again, great food with some really good options!

They were out of most of the dishes advertised on their website menu. Inside it is uncomfortably warm. Outside is extremely tight - no space.

Very good vegetarian food, choice between 4 different main courses and then you add 2 salads, all for 19€! We had booked a table, which finally was not reserved! however we could find a table so it was OK. We strongly recommend this place! But please don't increase prices, it is a bit expensive for students!

One of the best and most extensive vegetarian restaurants we found in Ireland. Note that it is cafeteria-style, not table service., and the food is cafeteria-style. Everything was very tasty. Excellent value. Wonderful location in the heart of old downtown.

Packed on a Sunday afternoon. Got a table on the top most floor. Some fresh breeze would have been good but the food was great! The chocolate tart is dense and so good! Coffee is average.

As always, amazing value for money and delicious veggie food! Around €18 for a main meal eith two salads, and all of the food is absolutely gorgeous!! Beautiful ambient on ground, first and second floor, your pick. No rush over tables, can take your time enjoying the meal.

Went here on a date with boyfriend while staying in Dublin for a few days. Dinner was lovely but what really stood out was the deserts. They were absolutely delicious and there was such a wide range of vegan deserts to choose from. Also the option of vegan cream with a coffee was really nice. I wasn’t used to the self service element but it didn’t take away from the experience. Would recommend.

Subpar visit to Cornucopia. While the soup impressed, the absence of kid-friendly facilities, lack of table service (resulting in carrying dishes upstairs), and fatigued staff were drawbacks. Unusual for an OpenTable restaurant. Service requires enhancement. Furthermore, catering to a group of 7 proved challenging on the second floor, involving multiple trips to accommodate orders and payment, impractical for kids.

Delicious choice of food. Very tasty mains and salads. Only problem is by the time your food is dished out and you queue to pay and get cutlery and water and go up the stairs your food is more warm than hot. Otherwise wonderful experience, good atmosphere, smiling pleasant staff no rushing. We enjoyed a lovely meal and catchup.Thank you.

Don't be fooled by first impressions After booking online expecting a restaurant dining experience, our first impression was that we had booked a cafe and, further concerns crept in when we saw self serving ... We were initially a little daunted by the join a queue, pick your meal, sides, desert & drink - flash back to the school dinner queue. That is where the worries ended, ordering was simple once we had time to gaze at the menu board. Nicely decorated with William Morris wall paper comfy bench seats to enjoy the ambiance, the buzz and atmosphere lively. The best thing about Cornucopia ... The taste of the food - simply amazing - as a daily meat eater starting to broaden my dietry habits - Cornucopia has opened my eyes with a tazer just how good meat free dishes can be, substantial portions very affordable. I would recommend anybody visiting Dublin give Cornucopia a visit.
