Just don’t go!! Rude staff - overpriced below average food! Arrived on time - hostess v stressed no smile or welcome. Asked could we move table - reluctantly they did . Female waitress(French or Italian maybe ) v insincere, rude and derogatory- she did not explain they did not serve spirits and as we asked for a Gin she told us we should really read the menu before she comes back. We tried to overlook this and have a nice family get together however fillet steaks were very poor cuts of meat and waiter really just made fun of our complaint and said he would tell chefs off ! Calamari was rubbery. They then began to tidy up around us at 9.30 and the rude waitress - she was either Italian or French maybe - sat with her feet up reading a book. The bill had a discretionary service charge which we asked to have removed. They told us we should have read the menu ! We did leave a €20 tip with the waiter but on hindsight I regret this. No management or training or accountability of staff - v poor we will not be back !!! This is owned by Wright’s of Howth we really expected more .

Myself and my husband went to Crabbys last week, food heaven. The service was friendly and fast. The food was top noch. The only criticism was the manager or hostess was giving the floor staff their orders infront of customers and she never smiled.

Great restaurant. I often visit for a nice, fresh local seafood cooked to a perfection. Place is always busy so its always a good idea to book a table in advance. Good selection of wines and other drinks. If you are out in Howth do come in or if you prefer there is a take away available.

Fantastic customer service glass of processo and butlers chocolates for every mum. Follow by yummy food and friendly staff who actually talk to you and have great sense of humour. Surrounded decor very modern. Nice family friendly restaurant.

We booked a table for a Sunday afternoon and there was a mix up with the booking. The team member asked us to come back in 45 minutes and they would have a table ready. They called us within 20 minutes to advise the table was ready. The apologized and seated us and offered us a round of drinks. They really handled the mix up and we were happy when we sat down. The food here is exceptional. We had two children with us, one being a toddler. They had an array of great options from the children’s menu. And coloring pens and paper to keep them occupied. We all had starters and a main and all the meals were fab. The mussels in particular are mouth watering. Great wine list and the service is top notch. One of my new favorite places in Dublin!

Great food, great service and great tunes! in a cozy setting. Went here for Valentines and it was a really positive experience for us. The early bird was super value with great size portions. We will definitely be back, thanks guys!

I absolutely love crabby joes, the food is amazing, lots of local sea food, everything is made to order and fresh. The fillet steak is my favourite with chips and onion rings. The staff are the friendliest people ever and are so helpful . I highly recommend this place.

I went to CJ's with high expectations & excitement as I had heard fantastic things about the place. Sadly, the food really let the place down. The staff were friendly and helpful but looked a little frazzled, as having worked for many years in the industry it comes down to poor organisation. The food was poor, an example of this being, we ordered crab claws and as we were by the harbour and many fish shops, you would think you would be served the meatiest and tastiest but sadly out came small claws with little meat on them and absolutely swimming in butter. The chips were dry. The chorizo & prawns were inedible and the starter portion of calamari was huge (not a major complaint but it was supposed to be a starter and therefore a lot went to waste). We ordered 2 gls of the house white wine and out came something the colour and flavour of honey, thankfully the staff kindly replaced it for 2 different gls's but it was a higher price (I know wine is preferential so I won't entirely blame them but a more generic, light and fresh white might be more appropriate?). I don't feel great leaving a bad review but I am of the belief that without knowing your faults, how can you improve. I didn't have the guts to say it to the staff while there and I wish I had, but I do hope that maybe from reading this there could be some improvements made.

Great Food and Service, restaurant was quite busy at the time we arrived so the table we were put on was a bit of a tight squeeze, but another table was freed up and the waiter quickly moved us without even being asked which was great. Food was brilliant and great value.

Overall food was lovely. Staff were friendly. Asked waiter for a drink, never got it but was charged for it as a take away. Waitress asked if we wanted to see dessert menus, we said yes but she never brought them over.

Booked through opentable on the Crabby Joes website for 9pm. I rang at 9:05 to say we were on the way and was told the kitchen was closed and they don’t work off open table. They also said the website needs to be updated.
Not my problem. Their website is Their problem. I was a regular in Crabby Joes, I won’t be going again. We were left without dinner that. night.

When we arrived, the waitress did not have us in the book! I showed her my email, saying you sent a reminder of our reservation today, she snapped as said "open table" and were shown a table in the middle of the packed resturant. I said we requested a booth seat, that is the only table free. Eventually some people left a booth seat and I got up an asked we would like that seat, she then looked at me and spoke in her native language to another waitress which was the height of rudeness as I had no idea what she was saying. We eventually got the booth table, food was fantastic but the waiter never returned to see was all ok. Shabby and rude service on this occasion. Other occasions I have eaten there never had a problem. Obviously Open Table reservations are not put into the resturant book!! Not good

OK Not the same standard as before .Fish very greasy with cheap batter ,
old chips ,
chowder thickened with flour and very synthetic tasting.
Mussels had that strong wine taste that happens when someone is not sure of themselves.
Manager on duty was great , very welcoming .The lady who served us was great. there are a few from the team who just like to pose and flick their hair ,
There was one young lady who could not meet my gaze , she seemed very upset that she had to clear our plates and change a very salty portion of veg soup for another bowl of chowder.
We Won't be back. Very disappointed over all though.
Regards.

We booked and had our table ready on arrival. The kids wanted to see the fish tanks, and although late in the evening we were escorted back to have a look.
The service was very professional and the kids were looked after really well!
Food was excellent!

We were just lookin around on the open table site and found this cool spot, easy to get to, even easier to make reservations with OT. We were greeted at the door with a great smile and warm welcome, seated quickly (get there before 6pm cause it gets busy). The menu has a great list of meats and cheeses along with some great appetizers to start. The salads and entrees have all been thought out with great detail and the Duroc double cut pork chop was juicy and flavorful and cooked to perfection. The sides or "me toos" are all super enticing but we had the Brussel sprouts with bacon and walnuts, if you just had those you would be more than satisfied. Topped it of with a peach cobbler for two and the nights dinner was absolute perfection!
