The Carolina Inn has been helping brides and grooms fulfill their most cherished wedding dreams for generations. Our magic begins with a setting of historic Southern charm: Colonial architecture, immaculate lawns, and stately oaks and magnolias. Inside the Inn, the atmosphere of warmth and grace is accented by antiques and fresh flowers. We have intimate parlors, secluded garden courtyards, and expansive ballrooms. The Old Well Room, with its evocative 1920's décor, is especially popular for wedding events.

The service was fine, though still subject to understaffing. The food is just below average for an AC hotel. This place conducts itself like it’s the restaurant attached to a Ritz, but frankly it’s just a regular grill. If you need food and are staying at the hotel, go for it. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

It was a beautiful late afternoon to sit on the porch for small plates and wine before a recital at Memorial Hall. Food and service were excellent. I will back for the ahi tuna plate again.

We were seated at 7:55 for 8 pm reservation. No one approached our table for 20 minutes and only then we we flagged a waiter. We immediately ordered app, salad/soup and entrees, plus a round of drinks! By 9 pm we had no food and our drinks were empty. (Note that appetizer was pimento cheese and crackers — so easy). At 9:05, one person went to desk to request status of our food. About 10 minutes later our first 2 courses arrived together, with 2 of 3 drinks. 10 minutes later entrees arrived. They were mediocre. I’ve eaten there 20+ times and this was horrible.

The only negative to our lunch experience was my chicken dish. My chicken breast on a bun was chewy... however my friend's chicken was good. My friend was asking for flatbread like the serving on the table next to us. She was told after consulting with the chef that the flatbread was not available unless we ordered a specific salad. The chef came out to our table and cleared up the misunderstanding. Apparently but my friend was calling flatbread the chef called crackers! He brought some of these crackers to our table and they were pretty good. He also addressed my chicken situation and brought me a whole new meal to take home! I had it for dinner and the chicken was excellent! Extremely satisfied with the chef's response. I will definitely be back again! The Inn is especially spectacular around Thanksgiving and Christmas 🎄... I've been there numerous times over the years.

Sasi was absolutely wonderful. The afternoon tea was a birthday gift for a friend and Sasi went above and beyond to make it a special event. The tea selection was amazing and the food was wonderful! Highly recommend…and ask for Sasi as you will not be disappointed!

Reserving a table here on Friday night of a home football game was a poor choice. The bar area was all arms and legs, the bar and the kitchen were both slammed. A simple two-course meal, two soups and two pasta dishes, required two hours to perform. Glasses of wine were very stingy, about 4 ounces each and the white wine was not anything resembling cold. The bill had errors and had to be sent back to correct. Only go here when nobody else is around, for example when snow flurries are forecast.
