   Food was excellent. Atmosphere was weird, in that apparently people seem to think it is OK to bring their dogs to dinner. We moved tables because the three dogs next to us would sniff our table, and occasionally bark which startled us. Just not what we expected.

   Not a great experience & usually it is. Drinks took 15 minutes after ordering and were warm, and they weren't that busy. Pretzel bites were burnt and my chicken pasta was over seasoned. Won't be back any time soon. Too many other great places in Austin to dine.

   We had a great time. Food was awesome. Portions good. Our server was fun and offered great suggestions. Would totally recommend this place to someone looking for a fun atmosphere and good food.

   As always great, imaginative food with a lively atmosphere. Service was great even though it was really busy. The cocktails are amazing and inventive; some great Mezcal drinks on menu. Prices are a bit high for what you get but that is typical of the Domain (and Austin in general).

   A small group of us went for a birthday dinner and had a great time. All of our food was delicious and our sever, Sam, was amazing. She was so sweet and attentive. We were shocked to hear she was newer to Culinary Dropout. We definitely couldn’t tell, her service was great.

    The service was great and the vibe at this place is so energetic! Food was delicious as well. We didn't sample any drinks since we were still recovering from a bad cold. Next time, when we can taste better!

    I’m going to start at the top, before we even entered the restaurant. I had an 8 pm reservation, but called to see if we could come in at 7:45. The staffer who answered said they don’t take same-day reservations. I made the reservation the same day. The staffer should’ve known that. We arrived at 8 pm. The table we ultimately were seated at was empty, yet staff had to check to see if it was clean? We were seated, and our waitress brought water. She serviced another table before she came back to us to take drink orders. Instead, the waitress went to the other table to bring their drinks and appetizers. When she came back, she notified me that they didn’t have a 9-ounce pour of Louis Martini Cabernet. They offered a 6-ounce pour, which meant bottom of the bottle. Before I could decide if I wanted the six ounce wine, they brought it. I sent it back and ordered another wine. It took forever for her to come back to take our order. An hour later, with no food, our waitress came back to tell us she lost our order, and our food would be out in 2 minutes. You can’t cook 5 entrees in 2 minutes. When our food did come out, my daughter and my ravioli was cold. The manager came out and made a lot of excuses about what happened, but never apologized or offered anything. Still our water glasses remained half empty. My brother finished his Old Fashioned. Had they been attentive, he might’ve ordered another, making the restaurant more money. Big mistake. The manager did bring an Old Fashioned, but by then, he didn’t want it. Instead of the drink, we only wanted two words: I’m sorry. Staff lost an opportunity to upsell the table. The waitress lost a tip, but if she had common sense, she would’ve seen we didn’t have our food after an hour. That’s not hard to do. We never saw the manager again, which is a window into how she leads her staff. This restaurant may be owned by a famous restaurateur, but he obviously has no idea how the Domain location is run. Customer service dropout.

    Great food and great service. For the area menu was moderately well priced for what you get. Dropout has been our go-to spot for the domain area for a while now and hasn’t disappointed yet.

    The charcuterie board is excellent, the music is great, and love the sports on TV. The best part is that they allow dogs on the patio.

    Service was fairly slow despite the restaurant not being completely full. Our server was upfront about the wait time from the kitchen, but it was slow getting drinks and clearing empty glasses. Overall things were good, but probably won’t be my first choice for dining in the Domain.

    I’ve never been there on a weekend night, so I Loved the live music! My daughter was craving the chopped salad & pretzel bites and wanted to have her 19th birthday dinner here. It did not disappoint and everyone was super friendly. Rio was amazing and super attentive to everyone! Food was delicious!

    My cousin was visiting from NJ for a convention, so I decided to take him here. It was our 1st time experiencing this restaurant. Open Table only allows for reservations of up to 6 people, so I called and was able to secure a reservation for 7 with Tiffany’s help. It was a Friday night, so our waiter was busy. All staff I encountered were nice and helpful. I got the fish and chips, which was crispy and flakey. The waiter said he made a special note of that (crunchiness needed) to the cooks. I would go back to this restaurant.

    The visit was excelleras always. Our server Brandon was fantastic and even had the music turned down without us even asking. He offered so many little helpful things to make the night great. The food was great and we had plenty to take home.

    Always delicious and something for everyone in your crew on the menu. I've been to several larger-group work lunches and smaller girls night out at CD. In each instance, they give great service, have tasty dishes and delight. Reasonably priced for portions and quality. We love the deviled eggs, brussels and pretzel appetizers.

    Good food and service. We arrived about 20 minutes earlier than our reservation but we were seated without delays For appetizer, the whipped feta and tahini dip was light and delicious. We had the butternut squash ravioli and fried chicken as main courses, both were delicious. Service was very good and our server was informative with the menu Will definitely visit again
