Waited almost 35 minutes passed our 7pm reservation time. Super loud overcrowded requested outside porch. They had no help our waitress was great but had been working since 10 am. They need to not book as many reserv if they have no help..ridiculous!!!
Deep Lagoon has always served us excellent tasty entrees and last night was no exception.
We did request a particular server, because we had an individual that can be difficult with new servers, but had been fine with our requested Taylor.
We were seated in the bar area and had difficulty with table conversation and 2 of 4 being hearing impaired.
Noise may have even been a factor when my meal came out with Grouper instead of the Hogfish that was ordered. Damian agreed to make an adjustment on the bill and everyone left with a happy tummy.
We had ordered bread and soup but our entrées came very quickly just canceled the soup the chili rubbed triple tail was fantastic.
Although we had to wait for our table despite having a reservation, we had a terrific meal.
Everything but the noise level perfect
My wife had grouper Oscar and I had the captain’s platter. Both were outstanding. We can’t wait to go back
Good good and timely
Food and service great!
But Very noisy! not able to carry on a conversation
We have eaten here twice before in 2021 when this restaurant was at their old location. The fresh fish is very good and well prepared. Our reservation was for 8:15. We got there shortly before 8 and sat at the bar. It was extremely busy. We waited about 20 min to get our drink order in. That was fine. Drinks were a bit pricey at 18.00. Finally, got seated shortly before 9PM and put our orders in. At this point, the restaurant was not full at all. We asked about our orders at 9:20. By 9:30, we got up and walked out. I am not sure if they were understaffed, burned out or what but we just could not wait any longer. This doesn't happen at upscale restaurants in New York or Philadelphia. My advice is don't overbook if you are understaffed and also, figure out a way to ask lingering diners politely to continue their conversation at the bar or something. Go on a weeknight if you try this restaurant . I put 2 stars on the food because we didn't get any.
Had a reservation but still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. We did not complain, simply sat and waited. Front desk receptionist had quite the attitude. Our waitress made up for wait.
Awesome food and server.
Asked for tuna without the black pepper crust... it came out served with it. Asked waitress ......who had actually checked with the manager... "no, it comes that way". Waitress nicely asked if I would like something else. I said no I would just cut it off...it was a generous portion of ahi. As I thought about it, the cooks with the sharp knifes could have cut it off before hand ....rather than me doing it. Saw the manager checking in with other tables....did not do so with us. Would have liked to offer my suggestion. Daughter asked for broccoli instead of asparagus.... came out wrong.
Black grouper...not cheap...smelled and tasted fishy....
Loved the old Randy's Fishmarket....times have changed
Good drinks and food. But on this visit the service was very poor. We asked for wine when our dinner was delivered and got it after we had finished eating. Disappointing.
Excellent tripletail, very friendly and efficient waitress
Hard surfaces created no quiet places to dine. Such a shame with the extraordinary food.
What makes Deep Lagoon in Naples a place that I return to is the amazing staff. We needed to change our reservation time and were able to be accommodated by calling when Open Table did not have the option I needed. We were seated outside which was important to our guests. Although staffing is lean, we were politely made aware and we were not in a hurry. Our server was lovely and worked hard all evening. My order came with the wrong side (which I am medically restricted from eating but we did not bring it to her attention as the food was hustled out by some other staff. Food was fairly good. Tbh I have had better but this is consistently decent and good enough for us. I do think that the ceviche and the desserts are a place where improvements could be made. The chocolate mousse cake seems like a slice of basic store bought freezer pie. Not worth ordering again. Kudos to staff for great effort during challenging times. We appreciate all of you.
Service was excellent
Love the new location. Nice atmosphere! We had a great server, food was fresh and delicious. Love the clam chowder. We’ll be back!
Excellent food and service once again. Beautiful new space. Wish wait staff would wear masks
Vanessa a wonderful server!
Fabulous transformation of aRuby Tuesdays. Naples pricey. Service and food excellent. Sea Bass a bit fishy, Stuffed hogfish great, but overall good. Will definitely go back, they do have patio dining in back….
Was good. Had new guests with us
Took our guest for the first time and he raved about the food as did we!! Beautiful dining ,super waitress ,good food,
a very enjoyable evening!! Our second dining and our guest
First time. Friends will certainly hear about our experience and we’ll encourage them to dine with you soon!!
Our waitress Sally was super attentive. Food and cocktails were awesome. Love the new location
The only issue was the pricing on the online menu vs being at the restaurant. They need to update and change.
The restaurant had a really nice outdoor seating area with heat food quality was great Crab Rangoon appetizer was the best we ever had and we order this frequently. Fish tacos we good. Ordered the plantains as an upgraded side and was well worth it Oysters were outstanding. all in all a great dinner
Started out well with server explaining menu. Waited long for wine then one bottle was wrong. Took very long to get correct bottle. Very slow service. Food wasn't very hot when we finally got it. Probably sitting in kitchen waiting. That being said, food was very good. Very crowded and seemed understaffed
Fish was not cooked Overwhelmed wo
Showed up promptly for our 7:30 reservation and were seated on the patio. Three minutes later a manager came to turn on the heat lamp. 25 minutes later no server had bothered to come to our table so we left and went to Panevino for a delicious meal.
Deep Lagoon was crowded on a Monday night, so I assume the food is good. I know restaurants are short-staffed right now but you can't even come to the table and say it will be a few minutes?
Food and atmosphere were very good. The service was not so good. We were a party of 3 and were forgotten in the beginning. Then only 2 of us got glasses of water. They let us know they would be bringing bread to the table which we only received after I reminded them. They mixed up my husband’s order. Again the food was very good but wait staff not so much.
Awesome food! Staff was helpful and informative. Will recommend to everyone.
Great food. Fantastic service.
We love our seafood after living 30+ years in Florida but when it’s not thoroughly cooked it’s not only distasteful it’s inedible! Been to this new location twice, will not be returning as there are so many fabulous seafood restaurants in Naples area.
We had 2 delicious group entrees. Oysters rockefeller was good, but they were a little small.
Tom, our waiter, was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu.
We were here for 10 days and ate here 2times. Both times I had the Hogfish Lagoon style and it is fabulous. Light, flavorful, and delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of Trefethan Chardonnay and both night had to share a pineapple upside down dessert.
We really liked their new location.
Overall a good dining experience but if you order the halibut, recommend asking for the Hollandaise sauce on the side.
We had a very good dinner. The atmosphere was very nice. A little loud maybe but it was manageable. I was with my mom who is a little older so she'd prefer it quieter. It was only difficult to hear the waiter discuss the specials. After that, it seemed ok. Serice was very good. We all enjoyed our meals!!!
Outstanding evening. We really enjoyed our dinner.
Everything was fabulous! Great food, excellent service, and the restaurant has a beautiful. We will be back!
It was ok.food was rather bland all the way around but not terrible
