    My wife ordered the salmon, which she enjoyed, and I ordered the bison tamale. The flavors of the dishes were top notch. The patio setting at sunset was perfect. A bottle of a nice Malbec enhanced the moment. The staff was attentive, but not intrusive.

    Devils Kitchen allows CMU students to collaborate with a quality hospitality group to gain hospitality experience while offering a unique and awesome dining experience. We were seated outside on the beautiful penthouse patio with views of the sun setting behind the Colorado National Monument to the west while giving light to the Grand Mesa to the east. Our time at Devils Kitchen started with a friendly greeting from our outstanding server Laura, and just kept getting better and better. Cocktails utilize personal recipes from CMU trustees. Then our creative salads arrived , followed by entrees we had not seen on other menus ever in our travels. My wife feasted on the lobster and waffles, while I ate every bit of the ample bison tamale paired with an outstanding Vine 79 (from Palisade) Syrah. Both were phenomenal! We highly recommend an experience at the Devils Kitchen atop the Hotel Maverick.

    We had great time dining at this restaurant. Outstanding service and dishes , and amazing view . Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone to try their delicious food and desert.

    Service was great ! Rose was very attentive and personable. The food ( trout and bison tamale) were ok. Seems like they try to make a big presentation of their food when simple is sometimes better . The artichoke dip was great !

    Food was delicious as always and vibes/views were awesome, but service on my last visit was very poor. For 5-star prices I expect 5-star service and knowledgeable, trained staff.

    Great menu with great service. You have to dine on the patio it has great views of the Colorado Monument and the Grand Mesa.

    I would not eat here again. Multiple items listed on the menu not available. Corn bread skillet hot, actual corn bread hardly warm. How? Noted allergy and they brought a birthday cake I couldn’t eat. There are better options in town but thought this would be convenient. Not worth it.

    Lovely spot on campus. However while I realize It’s a training class for students the management Needs to be more present. Service is extremely slow and we are always told “the kitchen is backed up”. Trying to make theater event is difficult. I had brunch reservations before noon and barely made it to 2 pm Curtain. . .and it’s across the street😩
