The food was of excellent quality and really tasty. Only one dish disappointed the - mosaic salmon. The steamed bun with wagyu and foie gras mousse was exceptionable as was the lobster roll.
Great Service! Highly recommend
The food was gorgeous and delicious, the service impeccable and the ambience happening. We will certainly be visiting again.
Incredible food, not cheap. Service was hit and miss but we got there in the end.
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere. It is very expensive for what you get, but we would probably return.
Food is very good - although bit on expensive side. We stayed on 2nd floor, which I believe was dusty due to a large number of cushions on sofas (im allergic tho). I guess stay at the counter prob better option. Kind regards
Fantastic food, different from any Japanese restaurant we went too and very nice atmosphere. I warmly recommend this restaurant. The cocktail was also delicious.
Great sushi in a very Tokyo/Kyoto like establishment. The service was also attentive and excellent.
Excellent food and service was above par
I went to Dining’s Sw3 for my Birthday. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. Definitely will go back.
Great food and service. Excellent wine selection. Cool and relaxed atmosphere.
If you want to wait 30 mins for a drink and over an hour for food and even two hours for all the food to come in in small drips and still pay a fortune, then this is the place for you. I have rarely seen worse service and can’t believe it!
Very expensive. A sashimi platter, at 25 pounds, was so small that both and I and my guest wondered whether a mistake had been made. The food was good quality, but I would not recommend this restaurant.
My favourite Japanese place with outstanding food.
Simple dishes with decent material, good service with warm atmosphere. But the price is too expensive compare with the food quality. It's delicious but nothing surprised me.
Excellent innovative Japanese dishes in a beautiful restaurant. Always a treat
Horrible service. Food was ridiculously expensive for small portions. We did not drink but still spent £300 for 4 people and were so hungry we went out for burgers after.
Excellent innovative dishes for those who are looking for a gourmet Japanese izakaya experience
Our waitress Maria was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the staff were very hospitable. Quality of food was very good although not much value. Only recommend if you are feeling slightly peckish.
good service, food is overpriced & pretentious. main restaurant is nice but we got sent to sit in the mezzanine where we felt like a second class citizen.
Had a lovely time...it was perfect !
Fantastic food with nice service and atmosphere! Also the staff are friendly to serve the guests.
Rarely have I been so moved to write about so mediocre a dining experience. Then again, it’s rare that I’ve paid £200 per head and been so disappointed- you can do a hell of a lot better at that price point in London for service, ambience and food. On every front this was disappointing - the restaurant has all the charm of a recently refurbished pizza express, the service model of your local chain pub, and food that you can find at any of many wasabi chain outlets around town. Being asked to vacate our table 1.5hrs into the meal in a half empty restaurant being the icing on the proverbial cake (no time for dessert). My lasting impression of the evening is the burgeoning quandary of how this place stays afloat ... then I remember, my £400 for dinner for 2.
I was very disappointed by the service. Arrived to be told that our seating at the chef bar had not been reserved properly and then told we could not sit there despite an almost empty restaurant. Really surly service with no attention to explaining the dishes on the tasting menu, no explanation of the sake pairings. All in all a very disappointing experience.
I believe Dinings is located in the old Totto's Italian restaurant premises. I had a business dinner with a client. You arrive at the bar upstairs, finding a well educated and service minded bar tender. We were seated downstairs, a full restaurant, but service was still good. A nice menu, a clever waiter and we had a marvelous meal with beer and sake. There were a lot of Japanese guests, which should indicate that the food is good.
we had a great lunch in DInings SW3.. Very attentive staff good food amazing cocktails all using fresh and high quality ingredients.
Staff mention the launch of Kurabu a new lounge space in their Mezzanine .. Will try it next time..
Luch menu is good value for money at £30 for quite a generous offer.
We went for the a la carte this time. Sushi is do die for.. Really recomend this place
Loved it. The food was amazing and the staff very kind and professional.
The food and service were awesome. We were treated to some amazing cooking. the wine was lovely and the home brewed saki a real treat. We will definitely go again
Meeting an old friend after a long time so decided to go somewhere nice and wow, the food didn’t disappoint. We had the most beautiful sashimi I’ve ever seen. And the quality of the fish was amazing. Beautiful flavour pairings with mustard, truffle and roe to name a few thing. Delicious. I also enjoyed the lobster miso although my friend felt it was too salty. We then followed with blackened cod and a wonderful asparagus dish. This had a wonderful twist on a tahini sauce which was stunning. Will definitely go again. The only issue I had was that when we arrived it was less than half full yet they sat us right next to the kitchen door.... shame really as it was in constant use and it was annoying.
I had heard a lot of great things about Dinings SW3. Unfortunately, like many London restaurants, it is very overrated. The food is good but I have had better. The nigiri were not put together well and the rice kept falling apart. What really put me off about the restaurant was the service. The staff is arrogant - there was an error with our order and we were brought the wrong plate of nigiris. It took them 45 minutes to bring us our new plate- by that time we were no longer hungry and just wanted to leave. Not once did the staff apologise for making us wait this long. Anyways, no I do not recommend Dinings. I have had much better Japanese food at places with much better service, a more laid back ambience, and just overall better value.
Really nice food experience. I would say sushi served here is the best in London. Wagyu beef sushi with foie gras is highly recommended!
Food was excellent and staff were very friendly. The crispy rice is unbelievable, we ended up ordering 2! The restaurant was so busy so food took longer than usual to arrive but overall it was fantastic!
We visited Dining’s with friends and after having a cocktail at the bar, we were seated upstairs. Smart but relaxed warm atmosphere with wonderful food and great service. Great for everyday dining or a special occasion. We loved the sashimi, soba noodle salad and of course the sake.
One word : Outstanding !
The restaurant is amazing and the food delicious
Beautiful restaurant, and the food was delicious (though pretty pricey). We arrived on time.. early in fact.. but service was very slow (we had to ask if we could order food having been ignored for 15mins), then they tried to hurry us as the table was booked resulting in them a) taking our plates before we had finished with the central sharing dish (meaning we had to eat directly from the centre) b) telling us they had managed to extend our table by 15 mins when they hadn’t even brought dessert c) asking us to leave our table before we had finished the wine. I’m not sure why you would let people order a tasting menu and then not give them time to eat it!!
Food was great, service not great.
Dinings is one of the best restaurants in London. Their sushi, tartar chips, sashimi, mains are all perfect. And I say this as a person who eats out a lot! Keep up the great work Dinings !
I absolutely love Dinings and brought someone for a business lunch who had never been before and would regularly go to Zuma. We ordered the £100 set menu. For the most part it’s great but PLEASE can you look at the lettuce salad as a stand alone course. It adds nothing to the meal, no flavour and a wasted course. It really does take away from what is named the “Tasting Menu” and also very different to when you could ask the chef to create a menu prior to Jan2019 and only costed £90 and every course was superb. My only complaint to what I think is a brilliant restaurant overall.
Fabulous fresh sushi and inventive Japanese fusion dishes. Manager Eduardo was great in looking after us. Buzzy atmosphere and good selection of sakes.
